Hi there! My name is Mary, I'm 29, and pregnant with my 1st! I am very excited about having a baby boy. We are going to name him after my father Michael (Mickey) who passed away this September 13th. We found out that it was a boy on Nov. 1st. This baby keeps me going because my father was my world, besides my husband who is the greatest. Its funny how life works! God takes someone away that is so special to you and then gives you something else to love so much. I don't have any parents now, so I am really glad that I have a support system like this. Don't get me wrong, my in-laws are great and are going to be very helpful. I look forward getting to know everybody in the next 4 months!!

DEC. 13th

Went for my six month check up. Today was the day they took measurements of my belly but the rest of the drs. visit was just routine. I have gained 12 lbs so far. Next visit they are going to do a glucose test.

Sunday, 23 Dec

DECEMBER 23Went to a christmas party last night and was out late. Its weird I feel like I have a hangover I don `t know if it was from all the sugar in my pineapple and cranberry drinks or just going to bed late. Its funny watching how drunk people get at parties and how much of a fool they look. If they only new!!! I don `t miss drinking that much , but I feel like I have a hangover.

Tuesday, 25 Dec

DECEMBER 25th.It was a little hard for me yesterday because this is the first Christmas without my father also because my husband had to work. Yesterday was the first xmas party that I didn `t have to go to and be around people. A few of my friends kept calling to check up on me. On a lighter note I went to the mall and noticed that I am getting a little clumsy that my belly was bumping into things. I also went to the dry cleaners and the lady insisted on taking my clothes to the car for me . It was great!!! My husband is off today on Christmas, we will be traveling and then going to NYC the next night to celebrate our one year anniversary. We got married on the 29th of December. Its crazy that 1 year ago , I couldn `t even imagine being pregnant. Anyway , I asked my doctor two weeks ago if I can switch to a prenatal vitamin with DHA and I like it so much better. Its called prenate +DHA. My nails have finally stopped breaking.

In NYC people came up to me and told me we were having a boy I guess because the way I carry. Went to Atlantic City last night, it was great. We went to dinner, shopping, and a comedy show. We stayed over night and soon as I got to the hotel I passed out. I don `t know what I was thinking wearing heals going out to dinner and the show. Its important to do these lil things now because I know when Mickey is born we will not be doing anything for a while

Happy New Years everyone!! I stayed up until the ball dropped at a friends house and this whole day today felt like I had a hangover without the alcohol.. It seems whenever I stay up past my normal time and routine, I wake up feeling horrible the next morning. does anyone else feel this way

Monday, 18 Feb

I haven `t done an update in a while. I am now thirty three weeks pregnant and started my birthing class. Everything is going good. So far I have gained 21 lbs during my pregnancy. I am hoping to gain a few more lbs reaching 25 at the end and thats it!!! I can `t complain too much just been tired and getting heartburn. Still waiting for my shower.

Monday, 25 Feb

I had my baby shower today on 2/24 and it was beautiful. I was nervous at first because there were 60 people that attended it. I am overwhelmed with the amount of presents, I just don `t know where to start. Our house is very small so we are going to have to store some of the stuff until he gets older.

Sunday, 9 Mar

Went to the Doctor for my 36 week visit. She said I was measuring at 35 weeks and my cervix is closed. Sounds like I am not delivering for a while. I am okay with that. Still have some last minute touches. When for Strep B test or whatever its called and more blood work to check for anemia. Find out results next Thursday. Still have to put together the playard, glider, and car seat has to go in car. Need to start getting together packing stuff too.

Went to the doctors today and she said that i was measuring at 35 weeks when I am 37 weeks. So I have to go for an ultrasound. I also tested positive for the strep b test, which now i have to take an antibiotic during labor. My blood level was at a 12 this time so i don `t think i am anemic anymore. Everything else is good and he is head down

Saturday, 22 Mar

Went to the doctor two days ago and the ultrasound said that the baby was about 6 lbs. However I still have two weeks more to go. Dr. said cervix is closed and about two to three more weeks. She said at 41 weeks she would induce me . Dr. said stomach is only measuring at 35 weeks when i am 38 weeks. I am only 5 foot 1 inch. I don `t think my stomach can get any bigger. Just washing all my clothes tonight up to three months for Michael
