Saturday, 18 October Hi! I'm sorry I have written in a while. I have been sooo sick and have slept as much as possible. I hope everything is still going good for you. I have my next appointment on the 28th and we are going to find out what we are having. Do you know what you're having yet? Laura Ward -
Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Saturday, 26 July Just read your comment. Too funny! My friend daughters about the same ages last year brought their baby sis to school for show and tell but mom stayed. :-) Your 5 yr old saying she could breastfeed it is hilarious. :-) My 9yr old can't wait to change diapers!! And my 7yr old said she would help with any of it but won't change the diapers.. too funny. I'm sure am looking forward to all the help this time around - how about you? xcitedMOM -
Friday, 25 July How did the appointment go?
Did you ever get that book? Did you kiddos like it? Was it as good as you thought? xcitedMOM -
Thursday, 10 July Please do let me know about the book. My boys would love something like that. Especially my 5 year old. I really want to keep the boys involved in this pregnancy as much as possible. I hope that they stay excited until the end. When do you plan to tell your kiddos? xcitedMOM -
Wednesday, 9 July Yeah. Our oldest was mad at first. However, once I explained that he would not have to take care of the baby (where he got that I'm not sure) he was happy. Our youngest didn't believe us at first because I don't have a big belly. However, I pulled up the pictures on this site and we read from my pregnancy journal every night. He seems to understand now. It's neat to watch the wheels turn in there heads. He is VERY excited about being a big brother and already worries that the baby won't like him.
Are you going to find out what you are having? We found out with our first and was surprised with our second. I think we are going to find out this time. I just don't know if I can wait this time. xcitedMOM -
Wednesday, 9 July I'm so excited for you! You get to see your baby in only 4 days. Our two boys are 10 and 5. Let me know how your appointment goes. Have you been having any pains. Not really cramps, just nagging abdominal pains? sezbabes -
Sunday, 6 July don't want to be a kill joy but if i were you i'd wait a little longer i lost my third baby at 11 weeks and had already told my 7 and 4 year olds it was heart breaking to tell them the baby wasn't coming. i'm now six weeks pregnant again and i'm leaving it as long as i can xx mummy33 -
Sunday, 6 July Get them a t-shirt each that say I am a Big Brother/Big Sister. Wrap them up, and give them to them at a special surprise party with cake etc.
Have fun

Sunday, 6 July You could tell them something is coming. Can they guess what it is by the clues in a bag? Then put a bottle, binky, diaper and da reattle in a bag. Good Luck! We are still thinking of creative ways to tell our children whether it is a brother or sister. We find out Tuseday. NOLAbaby -
Sunday, 6 July My mother -in-law- gave me a great book for siblings, which I like as well, called "what's in Mommy's Tummy?" It has "real life" pictures of each months you can hold up to your belly to let your kids have a better understanding of what is going on and how long the process takes. It also has cool facts like "baby is now the size of a loaf of bread" etc.. that allow younger kids to have a better idea and compare the process to something they are familiar with. Hope this helps! Good Luck! nikki.e -

Tuesday, 1 July I had a miscarriage back in Jan. too. I am also pregnant again. Very happy, but scared to death. We go back to the dr. on July 15 to make sure we have a heartbeat and do the ultrasound to see if we can actually see the little fellow. That will make me feel better until then I'm trying not to worry so much. Good luck to you! rachyg -
