Went to my ultrasound appointment this morning at 7:30 then my appointment with my midwife at 9:15.. All went well and glad to hear what was said..

Alexis is weighing in at 5 lbs 8 oz at only 34 weeks and 4 days!! Good size! Her measurements are right on track but my uterus is just a slight bigger by 2 weeks.. but she said to not be concerned.. that she's just a good size and all baby!

And she's def. a girl.. lol.

My midwife said she will be going to Ohio on June 8th to around the 11th. I asked to be induced on the 11th, she said that would not be a problem if she's in town.. But I will def have her if not by the 11th then on the 14th (39 weeks). So I'll be 35 weeks sat.. so that means only 4 weeks or less!! YAY!

She gave me the okay to take pepcid kuz I cannot sleep a night without waking every hour to take some tums kuz the hearburn sucks! It hurts soo bad!

At my next appointment, which is on May 29th, she will check my cervix and test me for Group B strep. I will be almost 37 weeks then.. Then I go every week for 3 weeks then Alexis will be here!! YAY!

Tuesday, May 20,2008:

All night long, From 1am to 5:30ish, I was having contractions every 5 minutes or so. I went to go to the bathroom and emptyed my bladder out and it did help a little. Until I felt tons of pressure down there, like I had to push. I just layed in bed with Mark and Kyle and took all the pain, Then when Mark got up, it all seemed to go away, and now it's coming back!! I'm pretty sure they're just BH contractions but BH contractions with my son didn't feel like real contractions. I called my midwife, and left a message for a nurse to return my call. I hope it's returned soon!! I am sick of being in soo much pain but I'm sure it's all worth it for my little girl to stay in me. At 29 weeks I went into preterm labor and it was able to be stopped! I'm glad I made it 6 weeks further. I'm supposed to be induced when I'm 39 weeks, but I really hope I go on my own. I want to take all the pain I can at home and go to the hospital and be ready to give birth. The hospital I am supposed to give birth to is an hour away, So I better not wait around too long or else my hubby will be delievering her lol. Well I'll put an update up later when I speak to a nurse.

Update:

So the nurse called me back, she said to lay down for two hours (like usual) and call her back at 1 pm. I just called them back and left a msg, I doubt they will return my call until an hour or so. These contractions are all in my back -- like i had when I was in labor with my son..I have decided to just head down to the hospital after my husband gets home around 3ish. We should be there by 5ish and from there.. only God will know but I hope she stays in my tummy but a part of me wants her out but I can't be too selfish!

Whatever happens.. well it happens!!
