Monday, 10 November Well, if they are homemade fries...then sure, but store bought in a frozen package is NOT good for you! You would have to personally slice your potatoes and bake them in the oven. Watch out for condiments because those can be very fattening as well. Dipping your fries in ranch, ketchup and so on... isn't a wise decision. You could put light butter over the top of them, or some low fat cheese melted on them (but, not a lot). You want to ease off of those...or don't eat them ALL THE TIME...potatoes have a HIGH HIGH count of carbs! Mommy Lisa -
Monday, 10 November First and for most... I hate to burst your bubble, but french fries are a big NO NO! French fries have way tooo many calories and they are called "empty" calories, meaning...your not geting any nutrition from them. I know, organic foods are WAY too darn expensive, but... I was once in your shoes... I had to start grocery shopping and making full dinners and stop eating out... it was SOO hard for me. I went to the REGULAR grocery store and focused on healthy meats, cheese, veggies, fruits, and whole wheat noodles for pasta. The only way I could get off of my sugar and carb high was by eliminating them for about two weeks. My dinners would consist of chicken breast, steamed veggies, and a side salad with ranch dressing. Now, I am pregnant, and I must add to my diet rather than take from. Every morning I eat a serving size of organic hunny nut cherrios with 1% milk, for a snack I eat grapes or fruit, for lunch I have half a sandwhich with light mayo, and for dinner I eat veggie soup or chicken or...basically anything that has nutrition for my body. It is a HARD change... but I totally think you should give it a shot. Before you know it you will have amazing energy and a significant weight loss that you can be VERY proud of!!! If I can do it...anyone can!!! :) MYLILTIGER -
