I had my son Daniel Ian on Sunday at 15h16, 8lbs 3oz! ended up with a c/s after labor failed to progress...Hope you fair better when your time comes! HAng in there - it will be soon and IT IS all worth it!

Hi...I am actually just back home after spending the night at the Civic...My water broke! I had strong contractions but they weren't overly regular so they gave me the option to go back home...If things haven't picked up by tonight, they will induce me around 8pm. My contractions havent pretty much stopped now so I guess it will be an induction for me but at least it will be today and not a week from now!

You might just be next! :)

You sure are not alone! I also have a "post-date" u/s scheduled for Tuesday, another doc appointment for Thursday and possible (likely according to doc) induction sometimes/after Friday...Saw my doc yesterday and she sees an induction in my future so I am not holding my breath that the full moon will work its magic on me...But you never know right?

You must be glad to be busy! I am running out of things (or energy) to do (or that I feel like doing- I have to be honest) and time is going by soooooooo slowly! Well, I have a new plan for today: pretend I am not pregnant! We will see how well that works!

I cant believe how intrusive your MIL is! She may be excited but I think she also has a problem with boundaries. You should probably have a talk to your husband and get him to ask his mother to give you some privacy. How intrusive to go with you to your doctors appointment, I mean what does she want to hear about whether you have had thrush or a urine infection... after all these things are sometimes a personal part of pregnancy! Something only a partner would usually share.

Wow, your MIL needs to get a life. My own mother doesn't go to any appointments although I know she would love to but she see it as a time that my husband and I should experience together. Personally, I think your husband needs to be the one to talk to her or he needs to stop telling her everything and when you appointments are from now on. I just know if I was in your situation I would go crazy. I think in the long run things like that could cause tension between me and my husband.

It's probably a good idea to say something to your MIL sooner than later...I waited a little too long before talking to my FIL. I had some issues with him and I asked my beau to tell him how I felt, but he never did...which made things even more tense. So when it finally came out it came out, he didn't even really understand what I meant and now totally avoids me. We had a DVD of the 3D ultrasound of our little girl we had taken last week and he wouldn't even come over to see it. If you ask me, he's being a big baby about it all. He was the one imposing himself on us in the first place
....it's touchy...and it's definately not easy.
