Hello all so heres my story at the end of june i got engaged to be married and set the date for next july and then a week agao I found out that iam pregnant and as of tomorrow i'm 5 wks! i m so excited but so scared of a miscarriage i almost make myself sick. I ve never had a m/c or anything but juat read alot about others experiencing them that im making myself paranoid i cant wait til my first drs appt on august 3rd maybe ill feel better and stop scareing myslef

7-29-07 Had very light spoting that night
7-30-07 called my dr. and he said to come in and sent me for a ultra sound and blood test. The tech said all my sacs were in the right place and everything looked good so the spotting is not normal but common
8-1-07 went to the ER today b/c the spotting got heavier and there was a clot when i wipped. I found out im 0- so i needed the antibody shot and also got the results from my ultra sound and theres and i have a subchronic hemorrhage thats causing the spotting I can just hope for the best and hope it doesnt get bigger other wise everythings ok i'm just trying to stay posative.

on top of all the drama i found out today i have ecoli poisioning..wow... by th ebaby is beleived to be ok my next drs appt is 9-4 hope everythings ok til then i have a good feeling it will be best of luck all talk to you on the 4th unless any other news develops

everythings going great all better from the ecoli and what not sick as a dog everyday but i wouldnt change it for the world 2 more day and i hit 8 weeks. wow this will be a long journey

went to my first prenatal appointment at my new OBGYN ( i switched b/ my previous dr. was a family practice dr not an OB and i didnt like that) he sent mefor a ultra sound today and everything is great i got to see the baby and its heart beat was stong. the hemoragge has disolved so no more of that. I'm still sick everyday pretty much all day but to me its a small price to pay for my baby being healthy . this will be my last post for awhile unless my sickness goes way mysteriously tomorrow and ill let you guys know but my next appt. is 9-17-07 talk to you then

I have not had a u/s since 20 weeks either. My doctor spends about 20-30 minutes with me asking how I am doing but I do have some health issues. He measures, listens to HB, weighes me, take my BP and feel my tummy. He did not tell me the position she was in. I told him. I could feel that she was laying sideways. She just turned though so now all is good with that. You can feel if the babies position is not head down usally. Its not important the position though until you get about 36 weeks according to my doc. As they just turn as they want anyways. They could turn multiple times before birth. Once there head locks in the pelvis though they are usally alwasy there for good. The baby locks in for 1st timers but after that the baby doesn't lock in til sometimes when labor happens. Hope that helps.

Hey there, I was concerned just like you when I saw that my appointments only lasted 5 minutes. My doctor also only tested for those exact things, nothing more. You should be thankful nothing is wrong. But I do see what you are saying. Just simply ask your doctor during your next appointment about the position of your baby. You can also ask him if its possible to get an U/S done to check for the weight and internal growth. Hopefully everything will be okay. Don't stress yourself out. You are fine. :) Let me know what happens.

Congrats... we are due the same day. I am kinda opposite though, I feel really calm about being prego. Not worried about to miscarriage. I'm cautiously optamistic. This is my 2nd, so if you need any questions answered or support, I've got it;) ttys
