IT'S A BOY!!
Well this is our story.... Dan and I met at the beginning of your senior year of high school. It was like the moment I met him I knew there was something special there. We started dating in Oct of that year and have been together ever since. He proposed to me on our 1 year anniversary. We had said that we were going to wait a few years before getting married and finish up school but things changed in January of this year. We hadnt exactly been trying for a baby but we hadnt exactly been preventing it either. I found out I was pregnant on January 10th. I was somewhat shocked at first I really didnt know what to think. I told Dan that night when he got home from work. He was excited. I dont think he believed me at first. But as soon as it sunk in, he wanted to tell everyone. Because I had already bought my wedding dress and the wedding was already so close, we decided to move up the wedding date to March. It was amazing. Everything worked out perfectly. So its been a really big year for the both of us. Marriage, baby on the way, new apartment, and I will be graduating from college. We are both so excited for the baby . We are having a little boy. When Dan saw the baby on the ultrasound he looked so happy. He said he didnt care what the sex was but I could tell he really really wanted a boy. And so did I.

June 27 2008 - 28.6 weeks - I am geting so excited. So last weekend we had a little scare. I thought that there might be some amniotic fluid leaking and so my doctor told me to go the the hospital. They did alot of tests and it turned out to be all normal. The only thing is the nurse said that my cervix is thinning? I dont really know what this means but we will see what happens when we go back to the doctor on July 9th. We almost have the baby's room done. I just need to make some curtains and my dad is refinishing a dresser and then we will be done. I cant wait till my baby shower next month. The hubby wants to put most of it together. he says he wants to be a part of it so I think that is a really good idea. He is even inviting his friends so it will be a coed shower!!! It will be very interesting.

You might go early then again you might not... I dilated 2cm and thinned out 50% with my second at about 6 1/2 months. I held her in until the very end of my pregnancy. Good luck with everything! Hopefully you keep the little one in as long as you can!

I'm doing ok (headaches, heartburn and emotional tantrums aside :) Mark picked out four names that he liked out of the list of about a hundred that I gave him. Problem is, the only one I really love is his least favorite, and the one he likes, I really don't. This poor child is going to be born without a name! :) Hope you're doing well.. have you been thinking about names yet?

Awwww! Congrats on your little boy! It must be so exciting to know what you are having! The anxiety of us not knowing is getting to me a little, but I know it will be special when I finally find out. I am feeling pretty good except for very swollen ankles (which started back in week 20 for me!!). I hope you don't have to deal with it--It is not fun!
