10-31-07~today i go to the dr. @ 4:oo pm and cannot wait...i am soooo excited. my boyfriend wanted to come, but he has an emergency dental appointment around the same time...thats o.k with me...however if i am able to hear my pumpkins heartbeat i will record it on my digital cam for my boyfriend and family to see and hear....i am sooooo excited...i hope all goes well today...wish me luck!!!

10-31-07~ it's about 7:30 p.m here in new york and i went to my dr appt today and everything was good with my blood work, with the exception of a slight UTI. iasked her if i could hear the heartbeat, she said she would try, but cannot promise ill hear it,because i am only 8 weeks and you can usually hear it strong by doppler at about 10 weeks. well....she tried and we could not hear anything. she told me not to be upset, because we knew that we may not be able to hear it. so....she did an internal exam and said that my uterus felt the size that it should be for 8 weeks and everything seemed o.k with that. i was suppose to sched my u/s today, but the recewtionist's were auditing their computer system and now i have to wait till tommorrow to make my appts...you know i was pissed!!!!...however i have three appts to make a.s.a.p in thew a.m..first one is for an u/s a.s.a.p to determine that i really am now 9 weeks tommorrow!!!!...the second is for a 12 week u/s and then my 4 week appt...i cannot wait till the office open in the a.m...i will be the first to call..lol...and hopefully i can get an appt for friday or monday, cause their u/s tech is right at the office. i love my doctors office, because it is in a nice big house and has that home like feeling...not some old dr. office that smell like a hospital...wish me luck mommies!!!!!!

11-2-07~ had my u/s today and everything is perfect!!!...my baby's heartbeat is 173 and 25 millimeters in length. my precious baby was even wiggling her little legs. my boyfriend got a kick out of that. we are sooooo happy and relieved to know that our precious baby is developing well. the u/s tech said our babys' measurements and my due date were perfect, my due date is off by only one day. we can't wait for our next dr. appt and u/s. i am due for an u/s on nov 26 and my 4 week appt is on nov 29.....

11-6-07~ feeling extremly exhausted today. evryday around the same time at work i feel like crap...starting to have slight headaches along with my lightheadedness. i am getting thru it though. the hard part is going to class twice a week in the evening for 2 and a half hours each night. it was sooooo much for me , i finally decided to drop one of the classes. hopefully i will feel better next semester!

11-9-07~ feeling a little queasy right now and dizzy. not too bad though, just happy its friday!..i am looking into purchasing a doppler to hear my babys heartbeat too....

11-11-07~ i caught this nasty head and chest cold from my partner and i feel like s*#t...i want to take some robittusin or something, but i am scared. i will call my dr in the morning and see what she thinks. in the middle of the night my chest feels like its full of cold and my nose is stuffy and i have this wicked cough...any suggestions as to what i can do. i have been drinking decaf tea with honey and lemon..it does help...

11-12-07~ i am soooooo happy today. i rented a doppler from bellybeats.com. another mommie to be on this site purchased one and she is sooooo happy with it. she even gave me a code to get $5.00 off. the code is mws5. In just a few days i will be able to hear my babys heartbeat evry morning before going to work. i cannot wait...$25.00 monthly rental!!!

11-14-07~ i felt really...really exhausted today. i have not felt that exhausted since i was about 7 or 8 wks prego. i had to go into our lounge room at work today and take a power nap for my hour lunch break. i had just scarfed down 2 hotdogs with sauce and onions and some seasoned waffle fries...so good..i have not eaten junk food like that in awhile..then i felt sick after eating eat and then the exhaustion. feeling better tonight. however, my sciatica is killing me and my lower and middle back as well for the past few days. my body is stretchingits way out for my baby to grow..thats fine by me!!!

11-15-07~ once again i am extremely exhausted today. not to mention the fact that its dreary and rainy outside. on top of that i have to attend a dinner for my homehealth aides this evening. so i will be on the go all the way until 10 p.m tonight...i am gonna be pooped. i want to go home and go to sleep soooo bad...not happening though. still waiting for my doppler to arrive thats annoying me, they said 3-5 bus days. i should have just ordered it overnight..duh....

11-16-07~ T.G.I.F...i cannot wait to leave work today...i feel a little funky right now..i just ate a can of spaghettios, cause i was craving them...now uugggg....anyway everyone have a good weekend. i look forward to the weekends because before you know it , the following thursday is here and ill be 12 wks...yeah....

11-19-07~update ladies....i have just received my doppler in the mail and i found my babys heartbeat right away it was 168 bpm..nice and strong...i love my baby sooo much and i feel much better knowing that my pumpkins is o.k.....cant wait to get home so daddy can hear it!!!

11-26-07~ today i had my n/t scan and first trimester screening, they will call me with results of the scan on friday. during my u/s my baby was sooo active. it brought tears to my eyes, because now i see whats been moving around sooo much inside of me. i wake up in the middle of the night sometimes and feel my baby fluttering around. it almost feels like a lil goldfish flopping around in my stomach..lol..i love the feeling and everyday its more and more noticeable...i love my baby. next u/s will be at 20 weeks...8 weeks to go..cannot wait..check out my 12 wk u/s pic of my punkin...

12~5~07~this morning at about 5 a.m, i am laying in bed and i feel my baby doing flips or what ever it is she does ( i always refer to my baby as she because we want a girl)....all of a sudden i felt this thump and it shocked me because i never expected to feel anything like that for a couple of wks yet. i was soooo excited and so was daddy when he came home from work 2 hrs later. she was still moving...so of course my b/f had his hand placed on my stomach for such a long time waiting for a thump and of course i can feel her moving, but he cant yet...he was a little disappointed. i told him hopefully by the end of the month he will be able to feel something...

12~15~07~ I had a pretty good day today. My b/f and i went xmas shopping for our sons and we went out to eat..all in all it was a good day. I felt bad towards the end of the day, because i waited for sooo long to eat. I usually take my prenatal pill at 6 a.m when i wake up, before starting my day. I want to start baby off right in the a.m. i am use to eating breakfast twice in the morning and i did not today. i actually did not eat anything till about 1 0r 2 p.m. i was soo busy getting ready and had to pick up my pay check, take him to pick his up, get gas etc..i did get a hot dog and some chips and water by that time to hold me off and an hour later..i was eating!!!!...at a buffet..lol..how about that. overall good day. i have these back pains every now and then, really only after i have walked a long distance and boy did i walk. babys h/b was in the normal range..yeah i am always pulling out my doppler when i feel i should. baby was moving around normaly. baby was actualy very active this evening. To top this entry off i have gained a total of 15 lbs within 2 1/2 months...wow..i have never had this much weight on me..lol...my b/f always tell me i look good. i love him sooo much, he loves me and our baby sooo much. i wonder how much i will weigh when i turn 6 months......lol.....yikes!!!!

12~19~07~ i woke up at 5:30 a.m to this little person flipping and flopping around in my stomach, of course i just lay there and laugh. but then, all of a sudden i had my hand on my stomach because i noticed that the movements are feeling stronger than usual. so, i wanted to see if i could feel my punkins from the outside. well low and behold this baby is becoming stronger by the day. the baby gave me a good kick or punch and i felt it from the outside. it was not strong or anything, but subtle and innocent. later this morning at about 7:30 when daddy gets home, i am excited to tell him the news and of course he had his hand rested on my stomach and baby would not move for daddy. starting yesterday i have noticed more frequent and stronger movements and i am so happy. cannot wait till mid january to find out the sex. my next appt is on 12/27 and they will then sched. my next 4 week appt and u/s all in the same day as they noramlly do. u/s tech is on the premises of the dr office, which is great....so wish me luck for my baby girl..however, if it is a boy ..i would be just as happy!!!!!!!

12~28~07~Ha dmy 4 week check up yesterday, myself and baby are doing well. i am scheduled for my u/s on January 18, 2008...i cannot wait!!!!...i am sooooo excited to find out the sex of my baby. my b/f is excited as well!!!!

1~07~08~ my first entry for 08 and i am feeling heavy now. like i am carrying around a weight..lol...my baby has days where she is soo active and other days where she moves around, not too much, but enough to let me know she is o.k. I have been having dreams of a BOY latley, but in the beginning of my pregnancy it was all GIRL dreams..cannot wait until 1-18 to find out the sex. i am definatley going shopping after my dr appt.!!!

1~13~08~DADDY FELT THE BABY MOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY, HE WAS ECSTATIC!!!...WE LOVE YOU BABY!!!!

1~18~08~ IT'S A GIRL!!!!...WE ARE SO GRATEFUL TO BE BLESSED WITH A HEALTHY BABY GIRL...WEIGHING 12 OZ, ALMOST 12 INCHES LONG....HER FATHER IS SOOO EXCITED, HE IS ACTUALLY WITH HIS FRIENDS CELEBRATING..AS IF SHE WERE ALREADY HERE....THE LORD HAS TRULY ANSWERED MY PRAYERS WHEN I ASKED HIM FOR A GIRL AND I AM SO THANKFUL!

I ASKED THE U/S TECH 2 OR 3 TIMES "ARE YOU SURE IT'S A GIRL"...HE SAID "I BET MONEY ON IT"...WE SAW THE THREE LINES CLEAR AS DAY...HE POINTED OUT HER LABIA CLEAR AS DAY....IT'S SUCH A WONDERFUL FEELING AND A DIFFERENT ONE, NOW THAT MY PRINCESS HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS A GIRL. I CALLED HER "SHE" FROM THE TIME OF CONCEPTION (AS MOST OF YOU WHO I CHAT WITH ALREADY KNOW)...HE HAS A 9 Y/O SON AND I HAVE A 12 Y/O SON...WE ARE SET NOW!!!!!!!

1~20~08~ WE HAVE COME UP WITH SEVERAL NAMES FOR OUR PRINCESS, HOWEVER WE HAVE NOT DECIDED WHAT TO NAME HER YET. OUR BABY GIRL IS TRULY A BLESSING AND WE WANT TO BE SURE THAT WE HAVE COME UP WITH THE PERFECT NAME FOR HER. AS SOON AS WE DO I WILL BE SURE TO POST IT UP!!!!........

1~22~08~As you all can see...we came up with the name Kamryn Sanaa...my name is Kamesha and i wanted her name to be similar to mines. i wanted to name her Kamara, however she has a cousin on her father's side with that name.....Lamar and Kamesha together...would equal Kamara....so we are going with Kamryn atleast thats close to my name. Her middle name is Sanaa...after the actress Sanaa Latham...i always loved her name.....hopefully we will not want to change her name before she is here.....but i do feel confident that Kamryn Sanaa is it!!!!!

1~24~08~ I will be posting more pictures of my princess as soon as my camera is returned to me (let someone borrow it).....

1~28~08~ I finally got my camera back.. I don't normaly let anyone borrow my camera...anywho...now that i have it back. I have posted up pictures of Kamryn showing off her goods...i love my busy baby girl...she is so active!!

2~5~08~ I am starting to get really big....baby is very active all the time. I can now feel her movements above my belly button, which indicates that she is growing rapidly and healthy. Daddy felt her moving like crazy for a long time this morning. He was sooo excited and it startled him several times, where he jerked his hand from my stomach and looked at me and said "Did you feel that baby"...i said "yes of course i did"...lol...he is hilarious...little Kamryn is moving right along!!!!

2~15~08~ I am officialy 6 months pregnant...yeah!!!...my Kamryn is growing so strong and her kicks are becoming more powerful by the day. I think she can identify her fathers voice and my voice. when her talks to her, she starts to move around so much. She does the same thing when i talk to her. We love our princess so much. There are so many family and friends who cannot wait for her arrival!!!

2~26~08 Went to 26 week dr. appt. today and all is wwell with Kamryn and myself. My midwife came in to measure my belly and realized that she is getting a larger measurement than normal. I said to her "is there something wrong"..she said " no..not all..it's just that i am getting a bigger measurement, she then went to get one of the dr's to measure me. He also got the same measurements, Kamryn is probably going to weigh in a big girl at birth, which is o.k as long as she is healthy. the dr teased me and said "So your expecting twins"..i said noooooooo....lol...after that, the midwife and i went over the birthing plans and it was sooo exciting. I was a little annoyed, because i shoould have brought daddy with me, but he works nights and be soooo tired. He usually makes it to all u/s appts...anywho...her heart rate was good, my b/p was excellent. they did discover that i am a little anemic and px some iron pills for me to take. when i return in 3 weeks i will be almost 30 weeks and will have to do the glucose test. they gave me the bottle of orange drink today for that. so ladies all is well so far and again...i cannot wait to hold and kiss my princess.....till next time...smooches!!!! oh yeah one more thing....i purchased a new car...well its a 2005 chrysler pacifica (black) and i love it!..its fully loaded..heated leather seats...dvd player..chrome front and rear bumpers..aluminum wheels....and more!! the two back seats let down for more trunk space for Kamryn's stroller..pack & play etc. its good on gas also.I had to purchase a newer car for the sake of having Kamryn and assuring saftey for her and of course my son.....i am truly happy!!!!

3~4~08~ I am starting to feel Kamryn's body parts for sure..an arm, elbow, knee, leg...something...her movements are becoming more and more frequent. I also know her sleep and wake schedule like the back of my hand....it is soooo amazing...I have finally completed my guest list for my baby shower and i have to hurry up and hand it over to my S-I-L and cousin, because they are planning it...i will be in my 3rd trimester this week...yeah....anywho ladies, i am just enjoying my pregnancy and trying to keep it together at the same time.....till next time...smooches!!!!!

3~17~08~ I dont know about you ladies, but i am sure feeling a difference in movements. My Kam-Kam is definatley running out of space to move around. she startles me sometimes when she moves and every 2 weeks or so, i feel a differnce in movement. it is so amazing how a woman carries a baby around for 10 months out of a year and then have to give birth and on top of that, we have to feed, cloth and love this child forever. There's some woman who have no choice but to do it alone, because the father wants no parts etc...i feel as if i am truly blessed to have my b/f here by my side every step of the way. He loves our daughter so much and we cannot wait for her to arrive!!

3~19~08~ well ladies i had my glucose test done yesterday and passed with flying colors..."thank god"....after that i saw the dr of course..i have gained 6 lbs from 3 weeks ago..what the f....!!!!...lol....my total weight now is 158 lbs...i was 125 lbs pre-pregnant..thats a total of 33 lbs i have gained...my b/p is always good...urine was good no trace of protein..i am anemic and was taking iron pills, i stopped taking them about 2 weeks ago. my dr told me to take them with colace and i will be able to move my bowels with no difficulties. the most exciting thing about my appt. was i asked him how Kamryn is laying and she is still transverse (sideways)... i asked him if he could differentiate her buttocks from her head etc..he took my hand and guided it to her butt and then to her head..i had to really cuff my stomach to feel for it and it felt sooo strange. i thought i was hurting her, but he said no she is fine...i though that was such an experience...her father on the other hand could not bare to see it or feel it...the dr asked him and he said "oh no thank you"...lol..he is such a woosp...gotta love him though...anywho..i am scheduled to go to the dr every 2 weeks now...yeah..next appt is sched april 1st....i cannot wait!!!!

3~24~08~ I had a little episode today with these darn BH contractions..i always have them and have been since 18 weeks. Toady they were coming every 10 minutes or so and i got a little worried..called my dr..he wanted me in asap...got to dr office and they hooked me up to the monitor and Kamryns heartrate was 154 bpm which was great, she was also very ..very active as well. i was on the monitor for about an hour and in the begininning they saw that they were about 10 minutes apart etc...after awhile Kamryn calmed her busy butt down and they stopped. dr thinks do to the excessive movement, that was the cause of the frequent BH...so he then checked my cervix which is still closed shut and long as he say...sent me home to rest and drink lots of water.....so Kamryn and her mommy are doing well and of course she is still rather active...i dont think i had any sweets at 12 noon on monday....lol.....till next time ladies...

4~2~08~ Well ladies had dr.appt today and all is well with Kamryn and myself. my b/p like always, was normal, no protein in urine, did not gain any weight from 3 weeks ago, which was o.k...i did ask my dr about how much she weighs and what position she is in. My princess is almost 4 lbs and she is definatley head down..ready for birth...this was good news to my ears, because i know the day is approaching and fast. My next appt is sched for april 15....i am being scheduled every two weeks now!!!!

4~8~08~well ladies.... i must say i am becoming more anxious as the days go by...8 week count down until i deliver my baby girl and i cannot wait...However...i do have one gripe that had me livid. I just found out that my baby shower is going to be held May 24th...omg!!!!..that is my 38th week people...hello...that was the only day that they could schedule it, due to their schedules (they meaning my cousin and my bff and sis in law) it has to be that day...i hope i do not deliver before then, but then i though about it...if i do deliver..than oh well, my lil Kamryn will be making a grand emtrance to the baby shower...lol...now i am going out to get all the neccesary things she will need, just in case she comes before the baby shower...i promised my b/f that i would not overdue it..... oh well...till next time ladies!!!!!

4~15~08~Kamryn and i had our 2 week appt today...all is well. dr says she is about 4.5 to 5 lbs, her head is set pretty low and that i have gained 5 lbs since 2week appt...wow!!!!...he told me i need to slow down on the ice cream and cakes etc....i am eating good, but a little too good...i started off weighing 130 lbs before pregnancy...i thought i was 125 lbs, but i asked today and they looked in my chart and told me 130....i have gained a total of 33 lbs so far and still have 6-8 weeks to go....he also says that Kamryn is a nice size baby and i am all baby. if i keep eating the way that i am, she may be a 8-9 pounder...oh no!!!!...i want her healthy..but not gigantic!!....lol....my iron level is rising, because i started taking my iron pills again, along with a stool softner everyday..thats another good thing.....all in all he says i am doing well and baby is growing right on track...next appt is 4-29-08 @ 4:30 p.m...i will keep you ladies posted!!!!

4~21~08! I would like to thank all of the ladies who have been giving me such nice compliments on my daughters name. Everyone seems to make the same comments...its cute that our names are similar and that it has a nice flow..i am grateful to be able to have a baby girl and was truly blessed. when i was pregnant with my son, i just knew he was a girl..i did not want a boy...but when we were told its a boy, i said to myself.."well this is my first, maybe my 2nd will be a girl"...and what do ya know....i was right!!!!

SHE IS HERE....MY KAMRYN ARRIVED ON 4~28~08 BY C-SECTION..SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND HEALTHY...SHE WEIGHED 5 LBS 7 OZ AND 18 INCHES LONG...I WILL POST PICS SOON....SHE WAS BORN AT 34 WEEKS DUE TO MY MEMBRANES RUPTURING...I WILL POST BIRTH STORY WHEN I POST PICS!!! I MISS YOU ALL!!!!!

5~30~08 HI LADIES...I MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH..I AM HERE TO GIVE A LITTLE UPDATE...KAMRYN AND I ARE DOING WELL. RIGHT NOW I AM IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING AND GETTING USE TO BEING A MOMMY ALL OVER AGAIN. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE I TELL YA...MY PC IS ACTING UP ON ME...THATS WHY I HAVE NOT POSTED PICS YET...I AM SO UPSET ABOUT THAT...I AM GOING TO UPLOAD MY PICS ON SOMEONE ELSES PC, SO YOU LADIES CAN SEE MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER...AGAIN I MISS YOU ALL SOOOO MUCH AND I CANNOT WAIT TO ORDER MY NEW LAP TOP, SO I CAN GET BACK TO BUSINESS..LOL...I WILL BE BACK JUST AS SOON AS I GET SETTLED INTO MY NEW PLACE...XOXOXOXOX
