Hey! My name is Megan and I am 22 years old. I live with my wonderful fiance and son Kane in Sunny Arizona. Kane was born Dec 21, 2007 (2 days before his due date) weighing in at 7lbs 11oz and 22inches long! He is the best thing that could have ever happened to Chuck and I and we love him with ALL of our hearts. I love this site and chatting with other mommies. You are all the best! ahh IM SO EXCITED haha..I am 100% effaced...in fact her little head is pressing hard against my cervix...but I havent dilated much more, so im at about 2 1/4 he said:( BUT the doctor said that if she is not here by my next appt...next thurs...then we are making an appt at the hospital on Friday the 16th and we are going to have a baby! He is going to put some gel on my cervix to help it along a little bit...MY BABY WILL BE HERE IN A WEEKKK haha I am SOOO stinking excited...he said she seems ready to come out so its up to my body and my cervix at this point!!!! So whether its not till Friday or happens before...My this time next week I will either HAVE or will be working on having my little princess!!!

no worries.. we had a pretty good weekend.. thx for askin.. didnt do much.. were plannin on goin to flagstaff this weekend.. itll be nice to get outta the heat... i cant wait to get my daughter in the pool.. thats part of why we wanna move into a home with a pool.. teach her early how to swim.. im sure shell love it.. plus i need to work on my tan! Lol.. my older sister was an R.N... she loved it.. personally i couldnt do it.. but its great for those who can.. youre still young.. you have time to really figure out what it is you wanna do.. good luck to you!!... im sorry to hear your gma is havin to have surgery.. thats always scary... ill keep her in my thoughts!!.. lemme know how everything goes!

if you filed a tax return and made over a certain amount (it's nit much, just a few thousand) you will receive a rebate. It is 600 if you are not married, 1200 if you are, and then 300 for each of your children so long as you claimed them o your tax return. Hi Meg - initially u will only be giving him a small amount..not enough to replace a bottle...literally he will prolly only take a few teaspons...u are just introducing the taste....If it still seems thick can dilute it with formula or breast milk. Ella had some trouble swallowing it at first..I made it runnier and she can swallow it much better...I am giving her applesauce now and dont have to dilute it. If he keeps pushing it out with his tongue..he may not be ready yet..just keep trying every few days. As far as when u should feed him..they say not to wait until they are starving or too tired. For Ex...I give Ella a bottle at 1pm and give her some food at 3pm. She eats every 3 hours..then give her a bottle at 4pm.I was hoping it would delay her bottle but my doctor said initially they wont eat enough to replace a bottle. if u have any questions let me know...good luck...

I read your comment in the 4 mo page. My doc said not to start anything cereal until 5 mo and other solids until 6mo. Your little one might not be ready for solids. If he is just pushing it out with his tongue he might not know how to chew/swallow. You can always stop cereal all together for a month and try again. And see if he does better. If it is not the spoon/swallowing issue. What are you mixing the cereal with. I mix mine with breast milk that is very sweet. . When i can't mix it with milk i use a combo of water and apple juice to make it a bit sweeter. In my opinion i wouldn't start other solids until at least 5 mo but i personally waited until 6 mo. Most of the time their digestive systems aren't ready for it before then.

I saw your post on 6 month page. I am a hairstylist and the money is bad. I would go into something with healthcare. Also as a cosmo you have to work nights and weekends. Good Luck.

Hi- I went to school, worked full time, and had a baby. It was tough, but you do what you have to do. I've heard being an xray tech or ultrasound tech takes 2 years and the pay is awesome. The other option is that you wait till your little one goes to kindergarden and then you do the school thing. Good luck!

Hello, I saw your comment on the 6 month page. My sister went to school for Surg. Tech. She said it pays decent money, you are working for a hospital so it usually is good benefits and the hours are usually pretty good because there are different shifts. I hope you are able to find something you enjoy and still get to enjoy your little one.
