Hey! My name is Megan and I am 22 years old. I live with my wonderful fiance and son Kane in Sunny Arizona. Kane was born Dec 21, 2007 (2 days before his due date) weighing in at 7lbs 11oz and 22inches long! He is the best thing that could have ever happened to Chuck and I and we love him with ALL of our hearts. I love this site and chatting with other mommies. You are all the best! I live near George Mason University. I went there for a few years and they had daycare on campus. That way you could drop your kids off and then pick them after class. I believe that most local colleges (exp commuter schools) have daycares on campus. I would definatly go and do something you are interested in. Otherwise it is hard to stay focus. He may be chubby but he is SOOOO cute!
and I know I cant believe it either...and ever since the appts changed to every two weeks they are flying by...pretty soon Ill have them every week then Ill have a baby haha! I am so excited!
We are getting the 3D/4D on Friday and I cant WAIT to see her! Hopefully it will help us settle on a name!

no, im not using dr brown bottles.. you should up him to the next level and see how it goes, but keep the same amount of fomula, he might need more.. but when my girl was 3 weeks old, she was getting fussy with eating and she was taking in 3 1/2 ounces.. i switched nipples to the next level(3months, fast) and she is drinking what she is now, and doing way better.. you just gotta take it slow at first until they get used to it so they dont gulp it down.. because it comes out faster, they will think it is the old nipple and suck just as hard as they were before, so you mihgt need to take it out a couple times or some how make then slow down. I talk to me little girl and tell her to slow down or i'll take it away, haha.. and it works, lol.

Hey my girl is 7 weeks old, and she is drinking 150ml - 6 ounces every four hours. Her last bottle is at 9 and she sleeps until 6, with a six ounce bottle.

My baby was born 6 lbs 12 oz and at 4 weeks she had gained 3 lbs too. I pump so I know she drinks 4 1/2 to 5 oz at her 3 night feedings. I think your baby boy is right on track.

Hi :o) I read your post and wanted to comment. It sounds like your baby boy is just fine. If he is not full on 4oz he is still hungry so it is important for you to up it. My daughter was born 6lbs 9oz and by 4 weeks was up to 10lbs even! She is now almost 9 weeks and she eats 5.5-6oz.. Babies know when they are hungry so my advice is to follow his cues. He's a handsome little one!

I just had my ultrasound yesterday and IT'S A BOY!!! We are so excited. Hope your new year is going well!

Hes doing good with it.he loves to be a dad.hes just like me wants to kiss her and hold her all the time lol and hes so helpful with things!!i love it!he stays with me and helps me out or vise versa..but no we dont live together..yea im still in school.i have till may then i graduate.my school wont let you graduate at half sem.soo it sucks...

hey! I'm glad you had a pretty easy labor, that's always good. And yes, stripping of the membranes can sometimes do some good! LOL, anyhow, my two munchkins are 4 and 2, though my 2 year old will be 3 in february! The time flies by fast doesn't it! As for my husband, we're all actually moving tomorrow to Alabama so I'm a little nervous as I've lived in Hawaii all my life! It should be an adventure. Hopefully after that, his cutter should be dry docked which means it will be undergoing repairs for awhile. if that happens he'll be home for awhile. Well, I gotta go get ready for New Year's celebrations, but keep enjoying your little Kane. Have a Happy New Year sweetie!
