I had my baby on 1/7/08 he was 7.2 oz and 19 inches long. Aubrey Dresden John Hornsby is doing great and is absolutly beauuutiful :)

Hi all,

My name is Megan and im 24. I am originally from Ohio. Over a year ago after college graduation, I came to Atlanta to be a manager at Abercrombie & Fitch...there I met my fiancee Aubrey and we have been together ever since. I have made many awesome friends here, and really miss my friends and family back at home. Recently, I found out I was pregnant, which made me hurry and grow up. (Surprise!), and Aubrey and I are very excited about it...although I dont think Moby and Bailey, our dogs (see pic) are too happy. I am due in Jan 08. I am worried and nervous to go to Ohio and tell my parents. I am excited to be on this site because I am the first of my friends to be pregnant, and everyone else is still in party mode. I dont know anyone who is pregnant here in Atlanta. I have tons of questions, and concerns of course, which im sure everyone does, but after going to the ultrasound in the 12th week, the baby is happy, and very active. I used to enjoy drinking, working out, and tanning, all of which cant be done now. So now I like movies, eating, and hiking. Up until now Ive only gained 3 lbs and look like i have eaten too much, not that theres a baby in there. Also I didnt have any morning sickness, knock on wood, but I did get very forgetful...anyhow...more later.

Heres an update:

Im 19 weeks as of today, ive gained 4-5 pounds so far, and its all belly and boobs thank god. Aubrey said yesterday that i look "skinnier" from behind which is great. I went home to ohio a month ago to tell the parents and my dad cried :( which is so hard to see. This will be their first grandchild. After talking to them, we decided to hold off on the wedding until the baby gets to be about a year old.

Ive never been pregnant before, but im having a wonderful pregnancy, no negative side effects yet, except for maybe being more tired. I feel like my hair and nails are growing so much too which is awesome, and even my skin cleared up! At first i got so nervous at all the possible side effects, but its been so nice, i dont see how anyone doesnt like being pregnant.

When i went to the dr on the 27th, they ordered a detailed scan to tell the sex, so i will most likely know in mid-september, cant wait for that. Hoping its a boy:)

Somehow one of my entries on here got deleted, but here is an update...last week Aubrey and I went to California for vacay or "babymoon" before Dresden comes. I still for the most part like being pregnant. Its all belly and all straight out front. I love eating fun foods, but im already excited to get skinny again after the baby is out...I cant wait to meet him :)

Cravings so far:	Crazy combos like fruity pebbles and motz sticks!
Things that make you sick:	seeing poop or puke from my dogs

Advice for other pregnant women:	Eat whatever you want without guilt!
Baby Daddy:	Is the best part of my life and makes me soo happy
His reaction:	scared, than happy, then extra happy because its a boy!
Greatest memory so far:	Aubrey feeling him kick!
Biggest fear:	is labor
Strange symptoms:	belly button completly out, back hurts badddd
Advantages of being pregnant:	Bigger boobs, dominating whatever food is available, aubrey telling me im beautiful everyday
Weird dreams:	every night
Emotional outbursts:	when I feel like I have to do all the housework alone
Breast changes:	they hurt and i gotta wear a bra to bed now
Waist changes:	15 lbs of weight gain, still trying to squish myself into low rise pants
Things you quit for baby:	social smoking and drinking which has been rough
Most uncomfortable time:	sleeping succckkss! back hurts so bad!
Worst part of being pregnant:	not being able to get stuff for free because men will do anything for women..
Best place for maternity clothes:	i like gap maternity
Taking parenting classes:	im opting out of those
Pregnancy necessities:	flats, cocoa butter, icy hot
