Tuesday, 14 October My son had a terrible rash when he was 2 weeks old...Dermatologist had prescribed couple creams but she had said in the future whenever it gets pinkish we could use 1% hyrdracortizone cream (not ointment) twice a day for couple days and we should see an improvement. She thought our son's rash was due to him being allergic to the wipes we were using (which were hypoallergenic) and the fact that he was breastfed did not help. We washed our son's bottom as soon as he soiled his diaper and dried it really well with hair dryer. Keeping clean and dry is the key. Avoid using wipes as they can irritate the area more. It was a lot of work but cleared up in a few days. Good luck! babygal187 -
Monday, 13 October If your using a lot of different types of ointment and it's not helping she might have a yeast infection. Check in her mouth and see if you see any white patches. If so that is thrush. And oral yeast infection. In that case I would call the doctor so they can prescribe you some nystatin. I use balmex when my son get a diaper rash. It seems to work really well. Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Tuesday, 16 September Hi, I have 'the ledge' to - had a c-section 8 weeks ago, after 2 normal deliveries and noticed the flat under the scar / bump over....was horrified, however, am breastfeeding and now weigh less than I did before I got pregnant, and although it is still there it is nowhere near as bad as just a couple of weeks ago, dunno if you're b/fding - if not take heart, I reckon it will get better, just might take a little longer... arg26 -
