Hey there You are not alone in being nervous for delivery...I feel the same---and this is my 3rd!! It has only been a year and 1/2 since my last baby so you would not think I would be nervous..lol. I guess no matter how long it is or what number it is we still feel like that. We will do just fine I am sure...I WILL be glad to be finished though--that is for sure. My back has been really hurting a lot too. I am guessing it doesn't have much to do with weight gain cause I am only up 12lbs and my back is terrible. I am so ready to not be pregnant anymore. Sorry to ramble....hope you have a nice week--take care!!!

I know it's safe, it just feels so WRONG to me. Poor girl must be frightened to death with this ALIEN coming right at her poking at her! I know it isn't byut it's like incestuous to me! Maybe if it was a boy I would feel diff, like he was learning a few tricks early on.....or yikes, the alternative!

Hey there - sorry for not responding. My stupid page, It said I had an unread message and i scrolled down and couldn't see it. Well I've had so many messages about blogs that I thought I'd delete them after I'd read them and presto, here's your message! Eeek! Sorry!

Well I must say that the past week my little one has been very active so I'm hoping the doppler is only for emergencies (although I do like hearing his heart!) Yes, we will have new things to worry about when our babies arrive. Firstly SIDS! I'm petrified of it! I'm sure if I follow the guidelines then hopefully things will be ok...

How was your Thanksgiving? We don't celebrate it here but going by the messages on this site, it's a massive celebration for people in the US. Oh so you had 2 hey? It sounds like that new Reese Witherspoon movie that's out!

Oh how funny about your son! You're going to have to come up with some more hiding spots as he gets older! ha!

How's your back? Still sore? I'm constantly aching. Especially my lower back. Oh and I've had some crazy cramping this week in my legs. A couple of times in the middle of the night where I've had to get out of bed (screaming mind you) just so I can stand up and get rid of it, and the other night, I had it so bad in both my feet that I couldn't get rid of it. Apparently bananas get rid of it so I've been eating them, but they've suddenly become quite expensive!

Well I hope you have a good week - I've got 3 hellish weeks to go, then holidays, then 3 cruisy weeks then maternity leave!

Does anyone just feel weird having sex now? It just feels so invasive to my baby girl now that she is SO ALIVE and KICKING1 It just does not feel right!!!! Am I alone on this one?

Oh yeah, the doppler's great! Although, twice now his heartbeat has been really low (not as in the rate, as in the position) No wonder there's so much pressure down there!

Let me know how you get on with teh body pillow. I seriously need to do something, I'm in a lot of pain with my back & hips. I just had a nice long bath - aaaah! I've avoided having them as apparently overheating is a problem and I'm a shocker for putting really hot water in, especially in winter, but now it's getting quite warm here, I had the temperature really mild. Oh it was so nice to have no pain or pressure! I've almost forgotten what that feels like!

THe doppler works great! I'm really happy with it, it only cost $50au which included postage from Hong Kong. It's not as savvy as the ones from the hospital but it does the job!

Tell me about the discomfort - if it's not one thing its another. I'm sure half the aches and pains are from carrying this extra weight! These cramps have gone away thankfully but now I'm so tired, I think I might go to bed at about 7:30 tonight! heehee!

Hey there! Oh I'm in pain! These stinkin' stomach cramps. I was going to go to the ER at 4 this morning it was so bad. My little one was kicking though and I thought I'll give it a half an hour, if it's still that bad I'll go but I fell back asleep. It definitely feels like constipation - I've had 2 days off work, yesterday it was basically from 6am til noon, then I went to the toilet and voila, no more cramping! This constipation is horrible, I'm usually the other way, in that I have no problems in that area if you know what I mean! Sorry - probably too much information!

How are you going? I saw on the forum you've got hip pain! Tell me aboutit! god, pregnancy has turned me into the biggest whinger! ha! Have you got a hot water bottle or anything? Well not long to go now I guess! Are you getting many kicks? I'm getting a fair few but I'm still a bit anxious - my doppler has apparently arrived at the post office so I can collect after 4pm today! WoohooO!
