Grace is the love of my life, she is just wonderful and I cannot imagine a single day without her!!

Baby Update... Gracie is now almost 7 months, i cannot beleive that!!! she is growing up so fast and it is such an amazing thing to watch her change everyday! She is now almost 19 lbs!! She is still chunky with these thighs to die for! She is the love of my life and can't remember my life without her now! It hasn't been as hard as i thought it would be being a single mom because i have wonderful family support, and they have been there for me more then i could ever image... sometimes i think Gracie likes her Grandma more that me!!! haha.. well she is pregressing wonderfully, sitting up great, rolling all over the place, chewing on toys (still no teeth, not complaining because she is still breastfeeding), babbling, standing holding onto me or things.. still not crawling but i think its going to happen soon! Well my life is good.. still going to school and working and BEING A MOMMY to my beautiful baby girl!

Baby Update... Grace is almost 3 months old.. she already wieghs 14lbs 6oz!!! SHE IS A CHUNKER!! i am still breastfeeding and its going great and thats why i am so happy she is a good wieght because that means my milk is working!! she is doing something new everyday and always smiling and "talking"!! I am soooo in love with her.. i never knew that this is what having a child feels like and its the greatest thing in the world!! We do everything together.. we are like two peas in a pod, i tell her that all the time!! i will update again soon and add new pics also but time for myself is short now.. but i am not complaining!!

GRACE ANN IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!! she is absolutly perfect.... i am completely in love!!!

The day started out early (Friday January 4th).. i had an ultrasound at 8 am to check my fluid level because it has been low for a couple of weeks.. so i had gotten up at 6:30 to be there on time and showered so that just in case i would have to be induced that day.. but i was not going to get my hopes up. So we had the ultrasound and the tech did what she does and went and got the doctor who was in the office at that time.. the doctor came in and told me that i have to go right on over to labor and delievery because i was going to have to have my baby today because my fluid was so low.. it was only at 4 cubic centimeters when it should be above 10. I was freaking out and my nerves were shot because i didnt bring my bags with me this time because i wasnt going to get my hopes up like last week! so by 9:30 i was hooked up to the monitor and was already having contractions on my own!! Since i was about 2 1/2 weeks early my cervix really wasnt ready so they place Cervidel onto my cervix to get it to soften and dialated.. well that has to be in place for 12 hours before starting the oxytoson.. so i was having increasingly strong contractions all day and at about 10:30 pm they took the Cervidel out and nothing had changed much.. so i made the decision to wait till the morning to start the Oxytoson so that i could get some rest.. well an hour later at 11:35 pm my water broke on its own!!! what a strange feeling that was!! so they had to start the Oxytoson.. and thats when the contractions really started to get bad.. so i was finally given an epidural and could relax for a little bit.. but then my doctor wanted it turned off so that i could know where to push and what not at about 4:00 am so then i started to feel them again.. and i was really feeling exhausted by that point.. but i was glad she did it because then i knew when and where to push after a couple of trys and i only pushed for about 30 minutes of really pushing.. my baby girl was born at 5:50 am (Saturday January 5th) wieghing in at 7lbs 2oz and totalling 19in long!!!!!!! it was amazing.. i had my mom and my best friend/cousin in there coaching me.. and they were crying and helping me through it! the doctor placed her right onto my stomach and i was just in owe at how this could happen!! Then they took her away to clean her off and what not.. which seemed like forever to get her back so that we could bond.. but when they finally brought her to me it was amazing.. this little thing was mine and came from me! I was also amazed that right away she also latched on to breastfeed when i tried! I had almost all of my family there waiting in the waiting room.. and they were all exhausted also because most had been there all day with me! but finally when everyone got to come in and see her.. it was such a celebration.. she was the first girl in my family in 12 years with 5 boys born before her.. she is also the 4th of her generation in my family and my moms second grand baby!! I finally got to come home from the hospitol on monday january 7.. it seemed like it would never happen! And now me and my baby girl get to start our lives together.. and she is just so perfect!!!

Hello, my name is meagan! I am pregnant with my first child and very excited! My baby girl will be here around January 22, 2008 and it will not come fast enough! I plan on naming her Grace Ann, Grace comes from the middle name of my little sister and Ann is mine and both my grandma's middle name! I feel very blessed to be having a baby girl and proud that i am going to be able to do it myself and be a single mom!
