Had Dr. apt. today and everything went great. Heartbeat was in the 140's.
Next apt. scheduled for 6/26/08 and we will have our BIG ultrasound then. Still not sure if I want to find out the sex of the baby or not? What do you guys think?

Had ultrasound today.....heartrate was 148 bpm, we chose not to find out the sex.....the surprise will be great since we have one of each. Next apt. is 07/24/08.

This is my first baby and I have heard so much about how induction makes your labor worse, blah blah blah. And I'm planning on going without an epi if I can. I have a good pain tolerance level, but we will see. I hope mine goes fast- He is putting me in at 7pm Sunday night with something to efface me, then starting pitocin around 8am Monday morning. I hope all goes well for you!! I have to stay 2 days after having her- but I will be home for Thanksgiving!! Keep me posted as to how yours goes as you get the time! It can't be easy to find it. haha. Best wishes!!

Thanks for all the helpful info! I will definitely be asking my doctor a lot of questions at my next appointment, but I wanted to know something in the meantime just in case I went into labor before my next appointment. Even though that would be like a 5% chance, I just wanted to be a little bit educated just in case. I'm hoping it doesn't pose any type of problem and I can just stop worrying. One fear thats been going on in my mind is if my water breaks and I'm in a really bad location or its bad timing, because I've heard with group B strep you have to go to hospital right away if the water breaks. Like today I was an hour away from our house and hospital shopping with my husband and I told him, "What would we do if my water broke right now?" Because not only were we an hour away, but traffic was horrendous because of rush hour and rain, and we had met up in 2 seperate cars..so hopefully after tonight I won't be too far from home from now on. It also puts a little fire under my butt to get last minute things in order a little sooner then I thought since I will have to go to the hospital a little quicker then I originally planned.
