Had Dr. apt. today and everything went great. Heartbeat was in the 140's.

Next apt. scheduled for 6/26/08 and we will have our BIG ultrasound then. Still not sure if I want to find out the sex of the baby or not? What do you guys think?

Had ultrasound today.....heartrate was 148 bpm, we chose not to find out the sex.....the surprise will be great since we have one of each. Next apt. is 07/24/08.

The one thing I'm a little concerned about is getting the antibiotics in time. Did your labors come on naturally and then you got the antibiotics? I've read that you have to have it 4 hours before the baby is born, so I'm just worried about being able to make it to the hospital in time and get the antibiotics before its too late. I know most first time labors are pretty long, but there is always an exception to the rule. I know especially if my water breaks or I lose the mucus plug I guess I am supposed to go to the hospital right away so the baby is not infected by the bacteria. Do you have any more details on this aspect of it?

thanks for the comment. glad to know vaginal deliveries still happen after a leep. i'm 2 days over now....really want to avoid induction. going for nst tomorrow and having spicy food tonight! you are close yourself! :)

hey love happy to see all is well and i can't believe how your pregnancy is going time does fly,thanks for stopping by and all is well here can't complain except i haven't had a period since august 22nd and all the test are saying negative but i have an appt next month so hopefully i will find out what is going on,sorry you and hubby not feeling well and i hope you all feel better soon,well i keep you posted,ttyl.

Hi...how high was your blood pressure? If you don't mind me asking!! Mine was a little high..not crazy though and they put me on modified bed rest, but said I could still go to work. When they first checked it, it was 128/84..then they checked it again after I saw the doctor and it was 139/90..so they made me lay on my left side and they checked it again 5 mins later and it was 133/88.

Hi -
I'm doing fairly well, starting to get uncomfortable, but that is expected. Back is killing me along with my feet, thank goodness I sit all day, takes a toll on my back, but not nearly as bad as standing! The little man is head down, face down and has been for several weeks. We had another u/s at 31 wks to check that placenta has moved, it has, yay, but we found out he's measuring 2, almost 3 weeks ahead based on the u/s. Fundal measurement was also big at 33 wk appointment at 37 cm! Doc has scheduled me for another u/s to check size to see if she wants to induce at 38 wks. I would totally be ok with that since my original due date is the week of thanksgiving. I would love to have him and be home and fairly recovered before thanksgiving. it's the only time I see a lot of my family so I would like to be able to go with baby in tow!!!! Overall things are going well, we have nearly everything and I'm packing bags this week. Glad you are doing well other than being uncomfortable!! Melinda

okay so i went out today and bought a lot of the stuff you all suggested for me to do while im in the house ...Thanks to All!!! Will b sure to let you know which ones worked out and which didn't lol as i'm going to try them all!!
