Yeah, its like she is trying to change positions, but I know that she is already head down, or at least I am pretty sure lol. I have an ultrasound next weeks so we will find out for sure. Its like for 5 minutes she will kick around like crazy and then stop.

I have had diabetes for 23 years and am already on insulin. By blood sugars have been great! I am not sure what nst's are though. That's for sharing. Your comments make me feel better!! I am just a bit of a worrier. I want everything to be just perfect I guess!

I had my 17P shot, my ultrasound and saw a Dr. on Mon. My cervix changed slightly but it was o.k. because it went from 1.8 to 2.2 to 2.5 and now its back to 2.2 so as long as it stays above 1.8 I get to stay at home on bedrest. I'm suppose to get my 2nd round of steroid shots Wed. & Thur. but they won't call me back. I talked to my Dr. about it 3 wks ago then talked to his nurse again last Monday and they still haven't pulled it together, I'm getting so mad because its for her lungs and they said I had to have it this week. I tried to call them again because my husbands grandma died and he has to travel away from us and he is so stressed that he doesn't know whats going on with me and the shots this wk. My Dr. office does this all the time to me, they wait until the last minute to schedule my Appt. and shots and make it hard for me with 2 other children.

When do you go back for your check up? I can't remember if you said you are getting the rounds of steroid shots or not? I hope we all make it to at least 34 wks. :)

i havent talked to my dr about it all yet.. i see her on the 2nd.. that seems far away to me... 3 weeks... i think that they should pull me in sooner than that cause i was diagnosed with gd but there not.... i hope i dont have to take insulin... im doin good with just takin it easy on what i eat... my sugars are pretty good today... a lil high here and there but not too bad... i wanna know if im high risk or not now that i have that but i dun wanna wait that long... im inpatient... lol and i wanna know how much she weighs and bout how long she is... any idea on what to do?

Hi! My ultrasound was pretty good, my cervix has stayed stable for a few weeks now so its back home to bedrest. They told me they will not be taking me off bedrest until I deliver. I will have the 17P injections until 34 wks and I get my 2nd round of steroid shots next wed. & Thurs. Please let me know how your appointment goes today. I hope your cervix has stayed stable and your little one is growing well. :)

I registered at Wal-Mart, JCPenneys, and Target. We have the first two here in the town that I live in but hopefully in October the Target will be finished and then we will have one of those too. I did Target because my in-laws are from Missouri and they have all three up there. I really wanted to do Babies R US but....the closest one is in Tulsa which is an hour and a half from here and Springfield, MO doesn't have one at all.

We have our first baby shower in two more weeks but...I haven't had a whole lot of stuff purchased yet. I think alot of it has to be ordered on-line. I hope we have a shower and people get us something. That would be embarrassing. lol!!!

Hi! I just sat down at my computer because I couldn't stand sitting in my living room anymore. I have spent most of the last 18 hrs in bed. I don't feel to good and get up almost every hr to use the bathroom. They want me to drink a ton of water but then I'm always getting up like every hour. I did a 1 hr GD test at home because they didn't know if I should go sit in a Dr. office beacuse of bedrest and I borderline failed. Then my Dr. told me I had to go to the lab and sit to have it done again and now they say I pass. I'm still having a problem feeling like my food digests so slow laying down so much of the time. I would like this to be done and deliver and then again I want to keep her inside growing as long as possible. This pregnancy feels like a love hate relationship. I love my baby and hate what I'm going through. I go Monday again for my 17P shot and ultrasound for cervical length. My blood pressure goes higher the more stressed I get. My mom has been a big help with supper a few times a week because i can't get up and my husband works 60hrs a wk and we have two kids. However my MIL is a very controlling women who wants to run our life and everytime she calls which is alot my Blood pressure goes through the roof. She didn't agree with us being together then she didn't agree with us getting married and she wasn't happy we were going to try to get pregnant but now she wants in our life because she is going to have a grandchild. I truly hope you have loving support in your life it makes things easier. We are so blessed that my parents love us and support us so much. I'm nervous when Mondays roll around because if my cervix changes again they said they are putting me back in the hospital and I have two kids and need to start homeschooling them shortly. Sorry this is getting long I guess some days are easier for me then others right now. Hope all is well for you. :)

I look at my registry all the time. I get dissapointed because nothing is purchased! GEEZ!! One of my baby showers is tomorrow!!! My hometown, then in September is my "currently" where i live shower! Wish me luck!!

for the first two weeks i had to check my blood sugars 4 times per day. once my dietician could see that i was able to control the numbers with diet and exercise they reduced that to 2 times per day - before breakfast (the fasting number) and once after any other meal i felt like. as for checking the size of the baby - it seems like every doctor is different. if you're having trouble managing your sugars they may check you. my doctor has not checked me, but as a general rule in his practice they induce labor at 39 weeks - with the understanding that the baby will probably be slightly bigger than average. i didn't have to endure any other tests...possibly because i have been able to control it.

i was anxious when i found out i failed too. actually, i was pretty upset about it. once i got into the routine of following the diet it was pretty simple...though really hard to curb those fruit and juice cravings!! there are some great things out there to snack on though so if you need other ideas feel free to ask and i can share with you! or if you have questions about anything else just let me know - i'd be happy to help if i can! i know it can be overwhelming at first.

hi there - i'm 37 weeks along and have GD. not sure if you've had any cravings, but mine were/are for fruit and juice...unfortunately i can't have much of either of those. the thing that has really helped me get through is smuckers no sugar jams/preserves. they are really good! i eat a lot of pb&j sandwiches. also, kelloggs makes a high protein cereal that's not too bad...all the other cereals out there make my numbers skyrocket. good luck! if you have any questions feel free to ask!

I was wondering how your Dr. appointment went? I believe i failed my 1 hr glucose test today. just waiting for the Dr. to call now and confirm. I don't know what will happen with the 3 hr because my Dr. won't let me sit for that long in the lab waiting room so I think i may have to go back into the hospital to have it done. How is your cervix doing? I hope its holding better then mine. :)

I do still have my cerclage but the Dr. isn't sure if it will hold. I may have to be placed on hospital bedrest until i deliver. I felt no change at all, I just went to my dr. appointment and he sent me straight to the hospital for the steroid shots. I really want to stay home. i am on bedrest and can only get up to take a shower, go to the bathroom, and go to the Dr. Keep me updated with how you are doing.
