I was just looking back at the comments from 0 months to remember what it was like and I saw your post about being exhausted. I NEVER felt so exhausted in my entire life as those first few weeks. I also had a c-section and I think it made it harder. It feels like it will last forever but it does get better! Try to get help, don't feel obligated to visitors and do everything you can to take care of yourself. You're not alone. Remember - it gets better!

congrats on your little one! to fight exhaustion, try to grab naps when your baby is napping - even if you don't sleep, lie down and close your eyes. it helps!!

I'm growing a little impatient myself! Can't wait to meet my little girl, but I figure it's probably better to let her come when she's good and ready.

I HAVE ITCHING AND LIL RED BUMPS...I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS...IF YOU FIND OUT LET ME KNOW! ARE YOUR RED ALSO?

You may have to extra moisturize throughout the day. I find the elastic on the pants itch me a bit so i roll it down.
However, I ended up very itchy and noticed a rash/bumps on my belly and arms. The Doc told me I have PUPPP (Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy)
http://dermatology.about.com/cs/pregnancy/a/puppp.htm

She told me I can use Aveeno Oatmeal or use Benadryl, etc. But I am just putting steroid cream on it when I really have to. But they say it can last up until a few weeks after pregnancy. Mine comes and goes. If I had to have it all the time I would have no arms or belly left :P

Thanks bellbumbles for responding I went to the doctor today and he informed me of the same info. My next u/s is in 3wks and I can't wait!

hey, i'm 30.5 wks and saw your comment about size/weight and position. I had an apt today and they don't 'offer' any info regarding that until 36 wks at my docs. I asked though and she said that based on measurements, as long as they fall around the norm, it's generally safe to expect a 6-8lb baby. As for position, once I reach 36 wks they will tell me her position, until then my doc says it's not really reliable since the baby will still turn around, so that's good that we don't have to worry about that for a few more weeks! I was a little bumed though bc i really wanted another u/s-oh well, i guess we'll wait for baby #2 to do that!! haha. OR maybe if i beg...lol, jk. Have a good day, hope that helps some.

meganmommy - Friday, 14 Dec
Hey I wanna thank everyone for there responses I will definitely be looking into changing my doctor, the one I have now doesn't seem to take my pregnancy serious I'm a first time mom started having contractions on Monday went to him and he made a big joke of it saying I was being dramatic and also told my mom she shouldn't come to every doctors appointment! Now can you guys tell me when I will be able to sleep again?

((Monica Rene)) - Friday, 14 Dec
If you are unhappy you should change your doctor...you should be happy and comfortbale with him/her. I had to change mine cuz he was creepy and scared me so i have a new one who is AMAZING!!!

MicheleP - Friday, 14 Dec
hope things work out for you. Haing a lousy doctor sucks. Only three more months to go. Hopefully it all works out for you.☺
Stay positive. I know its hard at times but really thats all you can do to stay sane!!!

Essien08 - Friday, 14 Dec
If you are unhappy call your insurance and change. No need to be stressed out by a gerk and have that gerk be in controll of saving your kids life at birth.

butterblocksmom - Friday, 14 Dec
Not certain what to say re: changing your doctor. I'm in Canada and we have a LOUSY health care system when it comes to pre-natal care. My regular doc doesn't 'do' pre-natal care, so I had to be referred to a pediatrician/delivery doctor and I didn't see him until I was 22 weeks along. I've done most of my own research and instead of asking the doctor's advice on things, I am usually bringing up the issues or requesting the tests. It seems to be working. What issues are you having? Getting a ped doctor here is ridiculously hard.

marrisu - Friday, 14 Dec
I changed at 19 weeks because my doctor quit delivering at the hospital where I wanted to deliver. they wanted to see my records since I was over 16 weeks before accepting me so I assume if I had any problems they might not have taken me. call and ask what their office policies are.
