My Name is Meg and I am expecting my first child in the end of July. My husband and I couldnt be more excited. So far this supirse pregnancy has been a breeze no morning sickness or any other complications. We pray it will remain this way right up through the end. We cannot wait until March 4th for our 20 week ultrasound. Cant wait to Post some ultrasound pictures. Well thats all for now until march 4th that is!!!

I Believe I felt the Baby Move yesterday Now i `m just waiting to feel my little one move again getting anxious to hear the heart beat again at the next appt.Thursday, 21 Feb
today is a boring day havent felt the baby move yet but i also havent eaten much usually when i have felt the baby its been morning but i felt it when i was laying in bed last night looking forward to my next appt. on the 25th my husband hasnt yet got to hear the heartbeat the navy seems to be in control but next monday he gets to go so im excited... i just want this week and next week to hurry up so march 4th comes so i can see my babySaturday, 23 Feb

so i finally got back to sleep this morning after all of my uncomfortableness i really dk what was going on but i wasnt too impressed either my uterus was just uncomfortable i dk i have a doctors appt today so hopefully all is well im gonna have to b***h about them not doing my AFP test yet and hopefully i get to hear the heatbeat and get the reasurrance i love about these routine visits ill update later with anything that goes onMonday, 25 Feb
so i guess there will be no update on how my appt went because my military id is locked in the hubbys truck and without it i cant do anything i flipped out havent been this upset in a long time with all the worries i have it just sucks that i have to continue to worry about my baby because hearing the heartbeat is the only thing that reassures me and im worried about the whole AFP test thing ughh today is not my day but i know being this upset doesnt help anythingFriday, 29 Feb
4 days till my ultrasound yay okay i read most of the forums on here and pregnant women are freaking crazzy especially about such unimportant things it seems to me thathaving a baby is more important then where you are registering or petty nonsense like that i sooo hope i dont become one of those crazzy over emotional pregnant women towards the end.... my poor husband doesnt deserve it... my husband and i have been having the name argument lately and i do feel bad because i hate all his names he thinks evie is a name evie in my opinion isnt a name but i like the name Ava so maybe we can agree on that and it looks like conner is the name in the lead for a boy i guess im just antsy to find out the sex i really hope i get to find out on tuesday and my baby cooperates most of all i just hope my baby is healthy but since this will be my only ultrasound (tricare sucks) i asked my husband about a 3D ultrasound and he says it is unnessesary but i talked to my mother about it and if for some reason they cant tell the sex on tuesday then she will prolly help me pay for a 3D ultrasound session... it drives me nuts that i dont know what gender baby im nurishing right now i think itll be more real once i name him or her i think it would help me bond better because it would be more personal i dk some people are just better at suprises then me i have always hated suprises lol i think i always will havent felt any movement today yet doesnt worry me as much as it did at first because when i do feel him or her move now its more of a kick and less of a flutter this is getting a lot more exciting now.... the only thing that is making me mad is the fact that i will be 19 weeks on sunday and i havent yet had the AFP test so that worries me because i dont know the risks my baby could have yet i hate all the worry that comes along with being pregnant i cant believe that i am almost half way there its amazing to think that in a few months ill have a baby in my arms ahh way unrealTuesday, 4 Mar

Went to my Ultrasound today and the Hubby came along with me we got to see our beautiful baby squirming and wiggling all around it was amazing to watch the neck fold and the sine both looked good but i wont get the results back for 2 weeks the baby was being unreuley at first when the tech went to the lower regions but she was tapping on my belly and finally she got my baby to open its little legs and there were 3 definate lines proving that i was carrying a little girl SO EXCITED i wanted a boy at first but now just looking at my little girl i am just amazed that i am growing the future love of my life :) most of the pics are kinda crappy the face shot scares me a bit lol hopefully she pretties up a bit didnt get a profile shot but legs and arms i may post them if i get a chance but for now i am just amazingly happy

sounds like the in laws are not very understanding, sorry. I will tell you, dont worry about them, you may be a bit more emotional now. Please dont sweat the situation or them. My Lord knows my folks nor in laws, nor hubby helped with a damn thing preparing for our first born. I did it all and dont need them, now nor ever. Just do it yourself and thank them later for NOTHING.

well, glad to know i'm not alone. i got all dizzy and sweaty too in my last US, and thought I was going to yak on the technician.....she thought it was because I was lying on my back. I think its because I was an idiot, and ate a junior bacon cheeseburger from Wendy's 15 minutes before...:o)

I think you are right. I still get enough movements to satisfy the kick counts (which is what my doctor says to do every time I have a question about movement), it just seems like the movement has slowed down a bit. He also has his days where he is more active, and then those where he is so lazy! At least I am not alone!! Thanks!!

Just think of your stretch marks as a badge of honor from carrying your little one, lol. I got them bad from my first son(and I was 17yrs old), fortunally I didn't get any with my second son and haven't gotten any new ones with this one :o) They don't stay red/purple forever, they will turn white and fade with time.

I was having really bad period cramps and I went to the Dr. He said I wasn't drinking enough water and getting to hot. I didn't think I could drink anymore water but I started drinkin ALL day, I think I go through 10 to 12 24 oz bottles a day. I haven't had any cramps since then. Hope this helps.

I've had period cramps off and on - they're not too bad. but they freak me out every time. I'm not sure if this is a part of Braxton Hicks or not. I have a doctor's appt on Monday - I was going to ask about it then, as nothing else seems to happen with them and the baby is still moving. I'll let you know what I find out!

I am feeling like poo! Just got up from a nap. But I am nauseas all day and have 0 energy. Keep an eye on the cramping...I had back labor with my first and didn't go into labor with my 2nd (c-section) so I am not sure what stomach contractions really feel like. Just look for some sort of pattern...good luck!

Hello! I started taking Primrose on Monday, I was almost 37 weeks along. I won't know if it's doing anything until my next appointment which is on Wednesday. I know it helped with my first baby, it softened my cervix for sure. My midwife says that it is totally safe and will not hurt the baby at all. I figured it was worth a shot! I hope it does something since they don't want me to go to 40 weeks as they think the baby is BIG....yikes!! I hope you're well!

Could you be in labor? My dr. said contractions would feel more like period cramps. But I really don't know. I have had cramping off and on but nothing consistent or too painful.

Oh hunnie it doesnt matter how little you were before you got pregnant!! *lol* I'm 5'9 and weighed 180 pounds before I got pregnant, and I'm just starting to get strech marks...not big ones and not dark ones, but I know they are there!! *lol* Actually, from my experience, its the bigger girls that usually get the worst stretch marks!! But just be like me and be thankful that they are ony showing up now, because theres not that much time left for them to get really bad!! Oh, and I hate to tell ya, but they dont go away!! : (

I know what you mean!!! 6 weeks is a long time, I bet these last weeks are going to drag on just because we don't want them too!!!! I'm not doing too bad, although I'm extremely tired and extremely tired of being pregnant!!! I'm going to work out after I've had this baby. I was saying to my partner today that it doesn't matter if I lose weight after I've had the baby because I'll still looked deformed because of all my stretch marks!!!!

hi i think that paranoia is playing a big part of peoples "labor" issues. I think people are too watchful for signs of labor because we are so close now, especially the first time mums. all I could say t them is that you will know when you go into labor, it hurts!!!! Anyway how are you feeling? Not long now

sorry to hear you ended up in the hospital. why were you so dehydrated? have you had any more contractions since then? well i guess you only have another 7ish weeks left! lucky gal! i'm looking forward to the end. i've started feeling pressure on my lungs and that's not pleasant (especially when i'm out shopping or something and i can't catch my breath). luckily i'm carrying low so it's probably not as bad as it could be.

Hi Meg,
My last Dr. Appt, my b/p was high. It read 143/88. Anything that is 140/90 or higher, your doctors will be concerned, whether one or both those numbers are over. So they had me lay down on my left side for a few minutes, taking in some deep breaths. When they checked again 10 min later it was 120/70. Now I have to go into the Dr. more often so they can keep an eye on my pressure. But just laying there for a few minutes helped!

Hey I get dizzy to the point where I almost pass out and get really bad cold sweats and then throw up, and I talked to my dr and he wasn't worried about it, but my bp is normal, so if you're worried about it, just call your dr. it's always better to be safe than sorry.
