I Believe I felt the Baby Move yesterday Now i `m just waiting to feel my little one move again getting anxious to hear the heart beat again at the next appt.

Thursday, 21 Feb
today is a boring day havent felt the baby move yet but i also havent eaten much usually when i have felt the baby its been morning but i felt it when i was laying in bed last night looking forward to my next appt. on the 25th my husband hasnt yet got to hear the heartbeat the navy seems to be in control but next monday he gets to go so im excited... i just want this week and next week to hurry up so march 4th comes so i can see my baby

Saturday, 23 Feb
didnt feel the baby move yesterday and havent felt anything so far today i know at almost 18 weeks i shouldnt be too worried i was just excited to have felt it all week 18 weeks tomorrow yay

Monday, 25 Feb
so i finally got back to sleep this morning after all of my uncomfortableness i really dk what was going on but i wasnt too impressed either my uterus was just uncomfortable i dk i have a doctors appt today so hopefully all is well im gonna have to b***h about them not doing my AFP test yet and hopefully i get to hear the heatbeat and get the reasurrance i love about these routine visits ill update later with anything that goes on

Monday, 25 Feb
so i guess there will be no update on how my appt went because my military id is locked in the hubbys truck and without it i cant do anything i flipped out havent been this upset in a long time with all the worries i have it just sucks that i have to continue to worry about my baby because hearing the heartbeat is the only thing that reassures me and im worried about the whole AFP test thing ughh today is not my day but i know being this upset doesnt help anything

Friday, 29 Feb
4 days till my ultrasound yay okay i read most of the forums on here and pregnant women are freaking crazzy especially about such unimportant things it seems to me thathaving a baby is more important then where you are registering or petty nonsense like that i sooo hope i dont become one of those crazzy over emotional pregnant women towards the end.... my poor husband doesnt deserve it... my husband and i have been having the name argument lately and i do feel bad because i hate all his names he thinks evie is a name evie in my opinion isnt a name but i like the name Ava so maybe we can agree on that and it looks like conner is the name in the lead for a boy i guess im just antsy to find out the sex i really hope i get to find out on tuesday and my baby cooperates most of all i just hope my baby is healthy but since this will be my only ultrasound (tricare sucks) i asked my husband about a 3D ultrasound and he says it is unnessesary but i talked to my mother about it and if for some reason they cant tell the sex on tuesday then she will prolly help me pay for a 3D ultrasound session... it drives me nuts that i dont know what gender baby im nurishing right now i think itll be more real once i name him or her i think it would help me bond better because it would be more personal i dk some people are just better at suprises then me i have always hated suprises lol i think i always will havent felt any movement today yet doesnt worry me as much as it did at first because when i do feel him or her move now its more of a kick and less of a flutter this is getting a lot more exciting now.... the only thing that is making me mad is the fact that i will be 19 weeks on sunday and i havent yet had the AFP test so that worries me because i dont know the risks my baby could have yet i hate all the worry that comes along with being pregnant i cant believe that i am almost half way there its amazing to think that in a few months ill have a baby in my arms ahh way unreal

You should definitely be seeing your doctor every two weeks. Especially at this point. I would call him and express your concern. Tell him you want to see him before 35 weeks. He should be checking your BP regulary. I too have been feeling a little down...you'll get past it. Just make sure you have lots of support around you and express how you feel to your husband...maybe there is something he can do to make you feel better. Good Luck.

I know, after my pediatrician told me this, and I went and researched it, it is in lots of things we use daily. If its in formula, then obviously there is no real concern, especially if the FDA doenst do anything about it. I just laugh at some of the comments of these ladies that are worried about BPA, like it just started. It has been around for a long time, and we all survived!

Hey! I read that you were wondering which diapers to use. I am using both pampers swaddlers and huggies. They are both very good. We bought mostly size 1 b/c we were told she would be a big baby, but she ended up weighing 6 lbs 5 oz & even the newborns were a little big for her. Also, you might want to start out with huggies at first, b/c they have the umbilical cord stump cut out at the top, so you won't have to worry about folding the diaper down. Hope this helps! Good luck for the remainder of you pregnancy

carolynjh - Tuesday, 27 May
I read your post, I think you should call the dr office and ask them if that is correct, if you should have an appt in 2 weeks not 4. Especially since your bp is elevated and you have anemia! He may have forgotten and just scheduled 4 weeks not thinking? You should definitely be seen again before 35 weeks :)

When I got my first US I didnt have tricare, because my husband and I weren't married yet, so I was on my own. But as of June 1st I'll be on Tricare, so maybe my doc will do another. But I also dont go to military doc. I go to my own private civilian doc. SO who knows!! *lol*

AndreaB - Sunday, 25 May
It's natural to worry, or so they tell me! Good luck, and try to enjoy your pregnancy.

cko1522 - Wednesday, 21 May
Thanks. Apparently one of the other mothers totally disagreed with my list. :( You may want to look at Babies forum under baby product reviews for more ideas. Anyway, here is her post (although I think I'm right. ;)

"I don't think I agree with all of what cko1522 said. Each baby is different and are going to like different things. I have a bottle warmer and LOVE it. My son rarely takes bottles now but it is nice to have when I'm not around. My daycare uses the same warmer and it works just fine there too. Breast Feeding was very important to us so we bought a $350 pump and I knew I would be using it either way. My son didn't latch on at the beginning but I still pumped to give him breast milk. Finally he learned and now I use it everyday at work. It really depends on you. If it is important to you then you will use it whether your baby latches on or not. We bought a good swing. Our does lie down so I do agree with that fact. Look into which one you are going to buy. As for clothes. I would look at your family history. We have big babies in our family so I bought some 0-3 and lots of 3-6 and no newborns but my friend just gave birth to a 6lb baby. She is using premie diapers and up to 7lb clothes. We knew her baby couldn't be too big because she was smaller then a 0 when she got pregnant and her husband wasn't over 7lbs when he was born either. Oh and she was only 5days early. I love the J&J bedtime lotions. I think they smell good and my son loves it too. As for pacifiers, I only bought a pack of two and I'm glad I did. My son wouldn't take it. I wouldn't go out and buy a bunch until you know what your baby prefers. Mine never used them. I agree you need blankets but I would find one that you really like. You are bound to get a whole bunch from friends and family. If you don't you can alway buy them after the baby is born. I now have several we don't even use. I would buy a sleep sack and one swaddler. My son hated to be swaddled so I'm glad the only ones that I have were the one that the hospital gave me and a hand-me-down from my nephew. I don't think your bassinet needs wheels. Mine didn't. Actually we used a 'on the bed' co-sleeper for two weeks and then Kekoa was in his own crib. We rarely use the pack'n'play either. I tried gas drops and it didn't work for my son. I saw no difference. I know some moms swear by them and others are like me. I agree you need a play mat but if you can't go out and buy one now then don't worry. My son only started to use his around two months of age. Now that he is six months we take the toys off and he plays with them. The mat is in the corner of his room not being touched."

Well, I just wanted to let you know that there were other opinions out there. (Especially since she took the time to go point through point of my post) But one thing I would really stress is the breastfeeding stuff. Her post indicates if it is important to you, you will need all of the breastfeeding stuff. Well, it WAS very important to us, and it simply didn't work out. We tried and lost the battle, so that is why I reccommend just renting a pump at first. Anyway, sorry for the long post but I wanted to make sure you were completely informed. :) Take care.

carolynjh - Wednesday, 21 May
Yay! You have tivo too! It's going to become your best friend when you want to watch anything without a crying baby! :)

mommy2hicks - Tuesday, 20 May
Thank you for your opinion. Best wishes to you and your husband. Good luck with your little bundle of joy to be!

QweetNC21 - Friday, 16 May
Ok, i understand that, but they also gave me a big bag of "sample" vitamins to try and choose from-they are ALL HUGE! She also said if I didnt like any of those I could do Flinstone Chewables....what do you think of that???

J-Motts - Wednesday, 14 May
Hey - I've been having pains around my belly button too, lately.....sometimes they do shoot down south, but I'm not sure what they are. I'm assuming things are still stretching, as my bump is still pretty small for how far along I am. Maybe this is why our belly button pops out (I'm still waiting for that to happen, too) - I think we're just still growing......By the way, I see that you have Brazil t-shirts on in your picture. Are you from there? My husband is from Rio....

He'll also be delivering my little one too. I heard so many horror stories aout the Naval hospital. Good Luck!
