My Name is Meg and I am expecting my first child in the end of July. My husband and I couldnt be more excited. So far this supirse pregnancy has been a breeze no morning sickness or any other complications. We pray it will remain this way right up through the end. We cannot wait until March 4th for our 20 week ultrasound. Cant wait to Post some ultrasound pictures. Well thats all for now until march 4th that is!!!

I Believe I felt the Baby Move yesterday Now i `m just waiting to feel my little one move again getting anxious to hear the heart beat again at the next appt.Thursday, 21 Feb
today is a boring day havent felt the baby move yet but i also havent eaten much usually when i have felt the baby its been morning but i felt it when i was laying in bed last night looking forward to my next appt. on the 25th my husband hasnt yet got to hear the heartbeat the navy seems to be in control but next monday he gets to go so im excited... i just want this week and next week to hurry up so march 4th comes so i can see my babySaturday, 23 Feb

so i finally got back to sleep this morning after all of my uncomfortableness i really dk what was going on but i wasnt too impressed either my uterus was just uncomfortable i dk i have a doctors appt today so hopefully all is well im gonna have to b***h about them not doing my AFP test yet and hopefully i get to hear the heatbeat and get the reasurrance i love about these routine visits ill update later with anything that goes onMonday, 25 Feb
so i guess there will be no update on how my appt went because my military id is locked in the hubbys truck and without it i cant do anything i flipped out havent been this upset in a long time with all the worries i have it just sucks that i have to continue to worry about my baby because hearing the heartbeat is the only thing that reassures me and im worried about the whole AFP test thing ughh today is not my day but i know being this upset doesnt help anythingFriday, 29 Feb
4 days till my ultrasound yay okay i read most of the forums on here and pregnant women are freaking crazzy especially about such unimportant things it seems to me thathaving a baby is more important then where you are registering or petty nonsense like that i sooo hope i dont become one of those crazzy over emotional pregnant women towards the end.... my poor husband doesnt deserve it... my husband and i have been having the name argument lately and i do feel bad because i hate all his names he thinks evie is a name evie in my opinion isnt a name but i like the name Ava so maybe we can agree on that and it looks like conner is the name in the lead for a boy i guess im just antsy to find out the sex i really hope i get to find out on tuesday and my baby cooperates most of all i just hope my baby is healthy but since this will be my only ultrasound (tricare sucks) i asked my husband about a 3D ultrasound and he says it is unnessesary but i talked to my mother about it and if for some reason they cant tell the sex on tuesday then she will prolly help me pay for a 3D ultrasound session... it drives me nuts that i dont know what gender baby im nurishing right now i think itll be more real once i name him or her i think it would help me bond better because it would be more personal i dk some people are just better at suprises then me i have always hated suprises lol i think i always will havent felt any movement today yet doesnt worry me as much as it did at first because when i do feel him or her move now its more of a kick and less of a flutter this is getting a lot more exciting now.... the only thing that is making me mad is the fact that i will be 19 weeks on sunday and i havent yet had the AFP test so that worries me because i dont know the risks my baby could have yet i hate all the worry that comes along with being pregnant i cant believe that i am almost half way there its amazing to think that in a few months ill have a baby in my arms ahh way unrealTuesday, 4 Mar

Went to my Ultrasound today and the Hubby came along with me we got to see our beautiful baby squirming and wiggling all around it was amazing to watch the neck fold and the sine both looked good but i wont get the results back for 2 weeks the baby was being unreuley at first when the tech went to the lower regions but she was tapping on my belly and finally she got my baby to open its little legs and there were 3 definate lines proving that i was carrying a little girl SO EXCITED i wanted a boy at first but now just looking at my little girl i am just amazed that i am growing the future love of my life :) most of the pics are kinda crappy the face shot scares me a bit lol hopefully she pretties up a bit didnt get a profile shot but legs and arms i may post them if i get a chance but for now i am just amazingly happy

i pumped and breast fed for the first 6 weeks with my little one. It makes it so much easier when you take the baby somewhere. YOu don't have to be embarressed or insecure about feeding the kid in public. My kid never had nipple confusion. OH--and if you are desperate to sleep, the hubby can feed for you while you catch some extra ZZZZ's. I think your choice is a great one!

That's exactly what the discharge is looking like. Jellow-ish, clear and thick. YAY. You never know, we may be in the same boat today. I've also had some watery stuff come out, but I'm not sure if it's fluid or not. I'm so big that it's hard to check, lol

hey girl! I read your comment about feeling the baby's head. I haven't done this, but at my appt. 2 weeks ago, my Dr. said the baby's head is right on my pubic bone. Is this low enough for me to feel it, too? How low is your baby's head?

Just be happy you should be delivering soon...cause I've had the bad pain since week 20!!! I've been on pain killers for weeks now and It hurts like hell!!! My doc says as soon as this kid comes out, I should start feeling better immediately. I hope its the same for you!!! Good luck hon!!!

It could be. at first it feels like a burning sensation and your skin is a little numb there because it is messing with the nerve endings. Then it just turns into this excrutiating pain. My OB didn't know what it was and he ended up sending me to a surgeon who specializes in ribs and breast bones. He is the one that diagnosed me. I would recommend you seeing your regular doctor...and mention Tietze syndrome to them. Its not a pregnancy thing! I actually developed this from a severe respitory infection I had when I was 5 months pregnant! But you never know!!

A word of encouragement...I didn't go over with my first. They finally took him 1 day before his due date but I had been in labor and they kept sending me home b/c my contractions were irregular. Turns out I wasn't progressing b/c he was breech! But he was fine and if he had been head down I know he would have been here 2 weeks before that.

I am doing ok....finished with being pregnant! My back has been hurting the past few days but at the doc. yesterday he checked me and nothing! It is a bit frustrating but she will be here soon enough. I hope everything progresses well and quickly for you...I can't wait!

Wow, 10 kicks eh? I was told 6 in an hour. I'm like you where my baby is constantly moving so it's difficult for me to just sit there for an hour and count. They also told me to do this after eating or drinking and that's when I actually pay attention. Mine usually gets his 6 out within the first 15 minutes or sooner without a problem. Keep in mind that our babies will slow down a bit at this time so try not to freak out if you're getting inconsistency.

to anwser your question about kick counts it could be nothing your little one could just be sleeping or just laying around but if your doctor said to call you should just to be on the safe side

They usually tell you to start kick counts weeks ago b/c now the baby sleeps like 90% of the time..like a newborn. My baby does teh same thing...I won't feel him, then he'll be full of energy. I sometimes push on him and he'll move a little bit then I feel better. I would say as long as your baby seems to follow a pattern, I wouldn't worry.

The baby takes naps like a newborn now so there will be times during the day when you will not feel the baby move. If you are concerned or confused about what the dr. meant you can call the office and ask. Generally speaking they tell you to choose 2 times during the day...once in the morning and once in the evening...when you notice the most activity and do the count then. I think they have a section on this in the forum section. It might answer your questions better than me. Good luck...hopefully not long now!

I'm glad you're making progress, at least someone is, lol. My appt. went fine, except my DR told me to eat better because I'm a heffer. Ok, he didn't say heffer, but that's how I felt. Hopefully my appt. next Tuesday will show some progress. I'm so done with being pregnant!

Hey girl,
I have an OB appointment today as well. Just so you know, my practice (which is not military) has only taken a urine sample once. They told me that some new law was passed here in OH that they only do it once unless you have symptoms of a urinary tract infection. Normally they wouldn't check my cervix until week 38 either, but last night I bled due to sex and had to go to the hospital. They checked me then and I'm not dialated at all. I hope you have a better experience with your care. I know what it's like to feel as though your doctors are blah about everything.

Thanks for the comment on my picture. I was being silly that day. I have no idea what my cervix is doing. They won't check me until I'm 38 weeks. The weather here in OH has been rainy, which is good for me because I don't feel like I'm missing out on all the fun summer activities! When it's hot, thank God for air conditioning! I'm nervous about the birth too. Did they tell you if you could go early?
