I had that happen to my privates about a week ago. It was still swollen the next day and my husband went to touch me and it was quite painful. But it went away, so no worries. The list of crap that happens to our bodies during pregnancy is just ridiculous.

peanutontheway - Thursday, 1 May
I have had the swollen girl parts a few times after sex too. It was quite painful. I know that you have increased blood flow to the area during pregnancy and being aroused also increases blood flow to the area which causes swelling. There's more blood flowing to the area than away from it. (Sorta like what guys go through to get an erection?!) As long as the swelling goes away after awhile I think you should be ok. If you are at all worried I would talk to your Dr. just to make sure. Hope this helps!

Those pictures are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing them with me. Her color really did change almost immediately, which is very reassuring. I'm still pretty worried but I'm trying to find ways to relax. I think I'll feel much better after my appt with my regular ob this week. She has a way of putting a good spin on things. Thank you again! Keep in touch. :)

sophiesoph - Monday, 28 April
Yeah, if you don't mind I'd like to see the pictures. I think I need to know that everything is going to be ok. If you think it's too graphic though I completely understand and am just thankful for the offer.

sophiesoph - Monday, 28 April
Thank you so much for your reassuring message! I would love to see a picture of your daughter when she was born. I don't know, part of me kind of wishes I didn't know the cord was around my baby's neck because I was doing the kick counts anyway and now I feel like there's all this pressure to make sure I'm paying extra close attention. It's really so stressful! Thank you again! I hope you're feeling well and I'm looking forward to seeing a pic of your little girl!

Oh God..That is soooo not fun. I hope that doesnt happen to me too. My cramps seem to be getting worse. They say eating bananas help too. Calcium.

Rachel918 - Thursday, 24 April
Hey, I had one done a few months ago.. Those are more worst fear... Its just like an ultra sound from your groin down your calf, they tap your vein a few times and listen to your pulse and take images of your vein to make sure there are no blockages.. Its painless and they tell you in 5 mins if something was wrong. I hope your ok. When I get really bad charlie horses in my calfs i get the pain for like 4 days. Right now i just have thigh and knee pain fun fun. good luck:)

suzanx - Thursday, 24 April
Hi!
Regarding the 'aftermath' of a leg cramp, I find that soaking my leg in a warm/hote bath relaxes the muscle. In addition to that I flex my calf muscle by moving my foot up and down. It will hurt but you'll need to work it a little bit to get its strength back. I had a leg cramp attack the other night too and it hurt SO bad but the aftermath was not bad. My previous attacks were horrible! I couldn't walk for a whole week!!
- Hot/warm bath
- Flex calf muscle
- Massage your calf muscle

Good Luck!

jodie507 - Thursday, 24 April
hey the crapms in your legs, yeah they hurt. Befor you go to bed have your leg layed out, then point your toes to you.kepp your leg down, do that like 5 time before you go to bed. If you haveone in the middle ofthe night just lift your toes to you and keep your leg down.works like a charm for me!!!

Ms.Crystal - Thursday, 24 April
hey, just read your commet about leg cramps. To alleviate them, straighten out your legs and pull your toes towards you. You should feel the cramp easing up. My friend told me this and it works everytime. Good luck. Let me know if it works!!

yari - Thursday, 24 April
hehe, everytime I am about to start, well any type of movement mine goes "oh lord, here we go".....dork. he has a sprained arm so we are two lameos that can't do anything lol. Don't let it happen- men sheesh!!

calileo98 - Thursday, 17 April
Thanks for the info. My OB said they will only give me the epi from 4-6 or 7 cm, after that I am pretty much on my own. So I think I'll just see how I do and if I'm able to make it past 7 naturally, I guess the decision is made for me. haha. :) Thanks again.

lh0407 - Wednesday, 16 April
Hey you might be having a mild anxiety attack. I use to get them before i was pregnant. Mostly when me and my husbang got in a fight. I havent had one latley. I would try next time you feel like that to just sit down and control your breathing. I hope that whatever it is gets better soon!

JRA - Wednesday, 16 April
i told my doc that I was having trouble breathing and it sometimes felt like someone was sitting on my chest and she said it is normal but she did ask if it hurt at all, and I told her it didnt so she said it should be nothing to worry about. You may want to mention something or call a nurse.

blessed-in-atl - Tuesday, 15 April
I get the same tighness in chest it feels like someone is sitting on it. I mentioned it to my midwife and she said it is caused by pregnancy hormones. It happens to me out of the blue, all but once I was at home alone, stressed over nothing.

firstbub - Tuesday, 15 April
hey meggz, I read the comment you left on the 30 week page and I know just how you feel, I have problems breathing, at first I thought it was to do with my high bp but no, it's from my organs getting cramped up and stress! y partner works full time but be brigs home bugger all It's becoming unbearable to get everything we need on his wage, I am unable to work because have had problems. Everyone says I stress too much but it really makes you think, if we are struggling now what is it going to be like when my boy is here? Hopefully both yours ad my situations get better! Good luck hunni! x x x x x

Thank you so much for you comment and support. We were dating on and off for 7 years. We broke up when each of us went to college. Well I thought with me getting pregnant which wasnt planned was a sign we are supposed to be together. I poured my heart out to him about i had dreamed about being with him since i was 14 and he just told me dreams dont come true. I have this feeling of he is just scared of having to become a dad and he has to grow up now. Again thank you so much! I hope all is well with you and your bundle!

denee85 - Saturday, 12 April
You have an adorable little girl!! Nice 'bump' too :)

startingover - Tuesday, 8 April
you could try going to yard sales on the weekends or thrift stores, buying things cheap, and then selling them on Ebay through the week?

chavey - Friday, 4 April
Thank you for your reply! Yeah, my baby's head was measuring smaller than her stomach, but I'm trying to not worry about it. And I think I am more of the type of person who doesn't want to know every little number & measurement b/c I obsess:) . We have a 4D ultrasound in 2 weeks, so hopefully everything will look good!
