My name is Megan. I am 20 yrs old. My husband,Jessie and I have been together sinse I was 16 and have been married sinse July 21st,07. We already had 1 baby, our pitbull/boxer Bailey. We got her in February '06. In December '06 I became pregnant,And unfortunately lost it in January '07. And then we had another baby in May '08. And that was our baby girl, Chloe,She was a Chocolate Lab mix. On July 7th, we found out I was pregnant. I had a horrible pregnancy. First morning sickness,then high bloodpressure all through my pregnancy. And then the most horrrible rash ever, PUPPS, On March 10th, my little precious baby boy,LANDEN JACE was born via emergency c-section because he aspirated maconium. He has been our little blessing ever sinse. Unfortunately,His "big sister" Chloe died when he was about 3 weeks old. He loves his other "big sister",his dog,Bailey.and she has been very great with him. He is such a happy baby and I love him soooo much!!

Blake had his appointment today and hes 26 inches tall and weighs 18 lbs 11 oz!! I cant believe hes almost 20 pounds! He had his shots but seems to be handling them better than last time. After his 2 month shots, he came home and slept, then fussed for an hr straight, but this time he came home and played for awhile. I hope his little baby legs dont get all red and swollen like last time. This time we put ice packs on them for a little while hopefully it helps! When does Landen get his tongue clipped? I hope it goes okay!

I have that skin thingy. I just thought everyone had it. I hope Blake doesnt have it!! I would hate for them to have to cut him. The only thing mine does, is if I were to ever venture a tongue piercing, It would be almost at the tip of my tongue or crooked lol. Now I am definately going to make them check on Monday.

What do you mean get his tongue clipped? I have never heard of that. Oh yeah he is definately teething! Hes always chewing on something and he grabs your fingers to pull them in his mouth so he can bite you. Hes got a strong bite for sure lol. The part of his gums where I suspect the tooth is going to poke through is a little swollen. He drools a TON!! I thought its was bad when he was 2 months old, haha its a billion times worse. He makes little lakes everywhere! Im so excited to see how big Blake is on Monday!! How tall is Landen? How did he take his shots?

I dont think we have one of those here though I am not entirely sure. How big is Landen now? Blake does rice cereal and veggies and fruits as well. Sometimes I feed him just cereal, other times I do cereal mixed with fruit, or just a jar of veggies or fruit. Although this morning he had a whole baby bowl of cereal and an entire jar of squash plus a bottle. What a little cow! He is sooo picky though!! So far out of ALL the stage one foods, he only likes squash and pears. Hes ok with the cereal and ok with peaches but everything else is just a battle trying to get him to even give it a chance lol. I think its so strange that he loves the squash though. I thought for sure he would hate it. In the beginning the rice cereal was binding him up a little bit so I started adding fruits and veggies that had a good amount of fiber in them to keep his poops softer so he wouldnt strain so much, and it worked. Now he can handle it just fine even if he just has cereal. Hes so cute when he eats now cause hes trying to feed himself and if he thinks youre taking to long to give him another bite he starts fussing! Ahh I love it all though! His appointment is this coming Monday. Im not looking forward to the shots cause last time his little legs got so swollen and so red! I am excited to see how much hes grown though! I cant wait to see those pics of Landen! How is eveything going with you guys? Sorry its so long, Ill quit typing now!

I had been checking his temp every couple of hours through out the day cause he was sneezing and coughing so I knew he had a cold, and just wanted to keep an eye on it. His temp was normal all day till about 6:30 pm when I checked it was 101, so we took him in. Hes had rice cereal but feeding just the cereal makes his poop clay-like, so hes had prunes, peas and peaches mixed with them, separately of course. He hates prunes, not to keen on the peas, but loves the peaches. I took him off of the food for now till he feels better to give his little body a chance to fight it. I dont want his body to have to work to digest the thicker food while fighting off his infection and cold.Do you give Landen just the cereal? If so does it make his poop clay like?

Oh its fine dont worry about it. He was I think a month-1 1/2 months old. My lil man has a cold and an ear infection right now. Hes a trooper though. We took him to the ER last night cause his rectal temp was 101 and he was just cooing, laughing and kicking his legs in excitement. All the nurses and docs looked at us like we were crazy cause this kid is obviously fine lol. But they checked is ears and his left ones red so hes on amoxicillin for it and hes pretty congested so im always having to suck the snot out of his nose with bulb syringe. My kiddo sure is a chunker though. At his 2 month apt, he was 13 lbs 5.5 oz and last night they weighed him, and hes 16 lbs 8 oz! That boy gained 3 lbs 3 oz in a month!!! They say newborns gain an oz a weeks and then when theyre older it slows down to 1/2 oz a week or every other week. Hes almost outgrown his infant carrier. Hes got about a half of an inch left before hes too tall in it. How big is Landen?

Congratulations!!!! I don't blame you there. If I were younger, I would definately wait in between. My case is a little different. Although, I may look young, I'm not! My doctor said the same. She said "you look young but, your eggs are not. You don't have time to waste". That said, I plan on poppin' out another one asap! Like when the stiches come out! LOL! Not much morning sickness here. Just some queasiness. I actually feel much better over the past week or so. Almost like my normal self. Just HUNGRY! :)

LOL!!! THANK YOU! I do get that quite a bit! I had a salesman come to the door the other day and he asked if my parents were home! LOL! I guess Oil of Olay really does work! I'm 12 weeks 2 days along now. How about you?

Blake is doing great! He feels like he is around 15 pounds now. At his 2 month, he was 13 and a half pounds and 24 inches long. He eats like a cow lol. Yeah he coos and laughs alot! He loves to play with his toys. Hes a total mamas boy. Everytime someones holding him, he always turns his head to stare at me and wont look at anyone else lol. How are you guys doing???

No I havent done rice cereal. Although my mother keeps telling me to, I just dont think hes ready for it yet. Although sometimes im tempted to cause he eats like a cow lol. How much does landen eat? Blake eats 6oz every 3-4 hours, but then he has days where he'll go through like 10 bottles in 24 hours. Thats 60oz!! I think thats just that growth spurt stuff though. He has his 2 month checkup Monday. Ahh he gets his shots =( I feel so bad about it, ill probably ball my eyes out lol. Blake has issues with just sleeping period. Hes such an active thing. He sleeps like 6-10 hours maybe in 24 hours. Im lucky if I get an hour long nap out of him. Hes such a light sleeper, I mean he will fart and wake up and be up for the next 4 hours lol. Its hard since Dylan works 6 days a week 12 hours a day. He works for Charter Communications(cable) as an Installer and right now its so busy cause I live in a city with a state university, so they are all disconnecting their services for the summer so he does like 30 disconnects a day plus like 6-7 installs on top of that. So needless to say, hes pooped when he gets home. Im going crazy being in the house all the time lol. I only really visit my mom on the weekends. Its funny cause Ill talk to my mom or Dylan like I do to Blake and they just look at me like Im nuts lol. Ahhh the joys of being a mommy lol.

I also just got done adding more pictures of Blake! Hes getting so big! I skipped my 6 week appointment lol I go this coming Monday. What are you doing for birth control if you dont mind me asking? I dont know what I wanna do yet. The IUD is convienent but Ive read too many horror stories about it, I dont want to gain weight on the pill or forget to take it, sure as hell wont do the shot lol, and condoms are just.. bleh if you know what i mean.
