My name is Megan. I am 20 yrs old. My husband,Jessie and I have been together sinse I was 16 and have been married sinse July 21st,07. We already had 1 baby, our pitbull/boxer Bailey. We got her in February '06. In December '06 I became pregnant,And unfortunately lost it in January '07. And then we had another baby in May '08. And that was our baby girl, Chloe,She was a Chocolate Lab mix. On July 7th, we found out I was pregnant. I had a horrible pregnancy. First morning sickness,then high bloodpressure all through my pregnancy. And then the most horrrible rash ever, PUPPS, On March 10th, my little precious baby boy,LANDEN JACE was born via emergency c-section because he aspirated maconium. He has been our little blessing ever sinse. Unfortunately,His "big sister" Chloe died when he was about 3 weeks old. He loves his other "big sister",his dog,Bailey.and she has been very great with him. He is such a happy baby and I love him soooo much!!

I totally know what youre saying about being a private person. Im like that too. I just wanted to leave the hospital so bad cause I was so sick and tired of nurses checking my bleeding and the lactation consultant watching me breastfeed, even moving my boob to a "better" position. It just makes me so uncomfortable. I have my 6 week check-up Monday and Im looking for any excuse to get out of it lol. Ive had enough of my crotch and boobs being on display for the world to see to last me a lifetime! Oh and the in-laws! Theyre something huh? My MIL is a crazy bitch (sorry to cuss but I just cant help it when it comes to his "family.") She hasnt even came to see our son yet, she has every excuse in the world not to, which is fine cause I despise her. The problem is, shes telling everyone that we wont allow her down! Not to mention, she told Dylans sister (shes a crazy ass bitch too! lol) not to tell anyone that we had a kid. Ive been with Dylan for over 4 years now and weve been married for 2 years in May. I dont know why shes doing this. It pisses me off. His dad wont be coming to see our soon either because hes an alcoholic and a druggie. Nice huh? His sister is writing all over the internet about how I apparently control Dylan and I wont allow him to have anyone down,etc. My husbands 24 years old for crying out loud, he runs his own life. He disowned his sister years ago cause she is such a liar its unreal. His mother and sister both tell lies to gain pitty from others. Its pathetic. I just really hate them all! They irritate the crap out of me. Blake rolls from his tummy to completely on his back and vice-versa. I swear hes like a genius lol. I even swear hes trying to crawl, but I think Im just being silly! Ill put him on his tummy and he pushes his head and chest up off the floor, then starts kickin his legs like you do when you crawl. If he could get onto his knees im sure he could do it. He loves to sit on my knee and watch tv with me as well. Im just so amazed by him. i love being a mom! Anyways, luckily, my mom formula fed us so she doesnt judge me. When I breastfed though she liked to put her two cents in about how she formula fed and how much more convienient it was (which it is), etc. It kinda got on my nerves. she decided on formula from the start cause she didnt want to be tied down. Which is totally fine cause to each their own and all 4 of us turned out fine. My MIL claimed she breastfed exclusively but she slipped up once and said she formula fed Dylan and about how he had to be on soy. She doesnt know I formula feed now because we dont talk to her. Im sure if she did she would tell everyone Im a bad mother. Sometimes I wish I could make people disappear lol. I dont have to worry about the big family thing though. I have a mom, a dad (who is a drunk and I dont talk to him) 2 little brothers and an older sister. The only grandparent I talked to was my dads mom and she died like 6-7 years ago. It sucks cause I was so close to her and I wish she could be here to see my son. I cant even see her grave site since she was buried in Germany. My dad and Grandma came over from Romania in the 70s and when my grandma had to have brain surgery to remove a blood clot that had burst, she ended up forgetting how to speak english (the only thing she remembered was "my little lamb", her nickname for me.),So my aunt, who Ive met once(she died from cancer 3 years ago I think) came to Texas and took my grandma to Germany to live with her. It sucks, cause I would love to just see where she was buried at, and it hurts cause I never got to say goodbye. Anyways I doubt my family history is interesting so Ill shutup now. Can you believe our little men are fastly approaching 2 months old? Its sooo exciting! I cant wait for the day he gets to try food! Its gonna be soo fun watching them make all those faces to the different foods. im looking forward to it! i love being a mom so much, i couldnt imagine not being one. My son is my life and I love it!

He has his days where he will go to sleep on his own and then he has his days where he just wants to sleep in your arms. he can be sound asleep and the second you set him down he starts crying his butt off. No unfortunately Im not breastfeeding anymore. We had issues from the start. He would always stick his tongue up to the roof of his mouth so he never got a good latch, then he ended up getting thrush and refused to nurse so I pumped my milk for him. I started out getting 4 oz out every 3-4 hrs, then it went to 4 oz every 6-8, then 3 oz twice a day, then it dropped down to 1/4 of an ounce once a day. So needless to say, im as dry as a bone and he is a formula baby. I tried everything to get my milk up, but it just wouldnt. I never got engorged when my milk came in either. Never had the huge milky boobies, you couldnt even tell I was lactating lol. For the first few weeks I cried my eyes out everytime I gave him a bottle of formula, and I still feel like I was cheated. Its so hard not to feel that way when your body cant even provide nourishment to your child like its supposed to. Im starting to get over though. Food is food as long as hes gaining and growing its ok and Ive accepted that. Its just so hard when you see it plastered everywhere how breast is best, its even on the damn cans of formula for crying out loud. I feel like society looks down on formula feeders weather the chose to from the start or ended up having no choice. I would never look down upon someone who chose to feed there child formula from the start. Its their child, their decision and its not my part to judge. Well enough on that, it just feels good to get that out, ya know? Blake is growing like a weed. He grew 2 inches by the time he was 2 weeks old. Hes soooo tall! But Dylan is 6'5 and Im 5'8 so I guess its to be expected. Hes been able to hold his head up since birth, rolls onto his back since 2 weeks, scoots himself all over the place in his crib, and now he can get his chest up off the ground. hes been doing that since he was 3 weeks old. Im so amazed by him and how fast hes developing! I have a pic on his profile of him with his chest and head off the ground. I absolutely melt when he smiles too! Its so precious, makes me wanna cry. How is Landen? Is he starting to smile yet? Do you breastfeed? Sorry for this ridiculously long comment lol.

hey, thank you for the comment. Dominic is actually doing really well. He is off of all breathing equipment and his feedings are gradually being increased. He's doing great! He is truly a strong and feisty little man! Your son is absolutely adorable! How old is he now? And yes, it is hard to see your baby hooked up to all those wires and realizing how fragile they really are! But seeing them make strong progress and move despite it all, also helps you to realize how strong they are at the same time. I love my little man as I'm sure you do! Congratulations on your little boy and have fun with him!

Blake doesnt have a 1 month, they do 2 months here. At his 2 week appointment I dont remember what he weighed, but I think he was up almost a pound. Nah, I havent gotten peed on yet. He usually gets the wall or himself. Im expecting it to happen eventually, just hoping I dont get it in the mouth lol. How are you guys doing?

Your son is sooo adorable!!! I posted my birthstory and pics of my lil guy. Are you breastfeeding or bottle feeding? Blake has been having some issues with latching on but hes getting better. Ill find out Monday if I need to supplement with formula. I hope not but if I do I do.. I hope you guys are doing great!!

Im having contractions every 4-6 min. Just waiting for them to get down to 3 min apart and 1 min long since theyre only 20-30 seconds long. Im having back labor according to my mom, its no fun. So wish me luck that this lil man comes out soon! God I hope this isnt false labor!!

God I cant believe no one else has said congrats to you. I feel like I get ignored on this site by all the others. Youre the only one that talks to me really lol. I mean I have asked so many questions on these boards and either 2 people or no one at all will answer me. Its like highschool, it pisses me off. Oh well... Ill tell ya congrats again!!! God I cant believe you had him already! It gives me hope that the end is near haha. I hope he gets to come home soon!! How much did he weigh? Congrats again!!!

Oh yay!!!! Congrats!! How was the C-section??? im so happy for you! I saw a different doc this week and she said she wouldnt induce me until the 3rd of April. Im gonna talk to my regular doc Monday cause Im not waiting 16 days past my due date to be induced. I cant believe you had him already. Lucky you lol. Well I cant wait to see pics of him, and send some labor vibes my way!!!

How did your appointment go? I have to try and get squeezed in Wed cause I got canceled on by my doc. Blah, oh well I guess. With my luck Im still the same as I have been for 3 or 4 weeks now. I wish he would just decide to pop out already.

I think I may have lost my mucous plug last week, but Im not entirely sure. I coughed yesterday and ended up getting a good contraction from it, but only one unfortunately. I go to the docs Monday so I guess we will see if Ive made anymore progress. I think Ill go over due and have to be induced since its so common with first time moms. How about you? Any signs of him coming yet? I hope we both go soon, cause I am soooo sick of being fat and in so much pain lol. Im going to ask my doctor again about when they induce cause last time she said 10-14 days after your due date and ugh I dont want to be pregnant that much longer. I want him out by easter so I can get his pictures taken! I am way too impatient for this!

Thanks. Beleive it or not I feel great! LoL. My BIL has been doing drywall this week so I've been sanding for him and everything and somehow still feel fine! I had lots of contractions today, but no baby yet... Hemm.. How are you feeling? I'll for sure post an update as soon as I'm home from the hospital!
