My name is Megan. I am 26 years old. I have been married to the love of my life, Dave, for 6 years. We have wanted children from the beginning of our marriage and after 5.5 years we conceived. Sadly, after just 15 short weeks we were given the worst news a parent could ever hear, our baby had died. Labor was induced the next day and on July 30,2009 we said hello and goodbye to our precious baby boy-Andrew Michael. The doctor believes his death was caused by a cord accident. His umbilical cord was longer than it should have been and it was wrapped tightly around his neck several times. Also, bloodwork revealed I have a blood clotting disorder called PAI-1. However, they don't believe the blood disorder was a problem but it is being treated with baby aspirin and metformin just to be safe.

We were suprised and excited when we discovered God had opened my womb again just 7 weeks after our sons death. We are now expecting again June 13,2010. Almost exactly 5 months after my original EDD of January 18, 2010 with my son. Every day is an unbelievable struggle but we are trusting in God and his mercy. We are continually praying that this child will be our "Take-Home Baby".

Thank you Megan. I am still so scared. The bleeding is terrifying to me with my history. And I just want it to stop! And then my hormone levels are ridiculous. It just doesn't get lower and slower than mine. Which is usually a sign that things are not going well. But we don't know what to do with the numbers today. Because honestly six hours ago we saw ultrasound "proof" that the baby was alive and "fine". I don't understand what God is doing. Trying us and testing our faith, to be certain. And we are continuing to pray for a miracle for our baby's life. We just don't know what each day is going to bring. thanks for praying with us!! What a blessing. Take care. ((hugs))

Thanks for your constant messages, encouragement, prayers, and support. You're incredible. My "real life friends" don't have a clue. And it's such a blessing to feel normal, to some extent, like I am not a freak alien or a leper. Thank you for being there. Seriously. ((((hugs))))
