Hi Melanie, Thank you so so much for your very kind and supportive message you sent me. I'm very sorry to hear about your mum. I know exactly what you mean. Loads of people have told me it gets better, and getting up, carrying on with life and pretending we're great probably does, but the miss for them only gets worse the longer time goes on. I am lucky that i have a very loving and close family so know i'm not alone. I'm also very close with my sister so we've tried to be there for each other. I think we'll always want our mammy's and i too talk to her every day. Its gonna be hard when i give birth because she was with me and my hubby at the births of my other 2 children and this time i have to do it without her. But our moms are with us always even if we can't see them. Its just sometimes its not enough and we'd do anything for just one hug. On the up - a big congtrats on expecting a little girl. The name you've picked out is really pretty. Again thank u and i wish you all the best. X

thank you -- the spotting has stopped as well as the cramping and I am feeling wonderfully nauseous . . . I am enjoying being pregnant and will wait for my first U/S at 8 weeks. I do not want to monitor numbers it would just upset me more I think . . . having to wait for each result. I will just take care of myself and wait. thank you for your kind words and congratulations on your pregnancy.

hi - I was reading some of the posts and read yours about spotting. If you do not mind I am worried. I have a small amount of CM when I wipe and it is brown tinted. I have had some cramping also. I am 5 weeks tomorrow. thanks!

I wanted to say thank you for your thoughts during such a hard time for me. Things are going wonderful now and I have not had any problems. I am just about to round the end of my 1st trimester then I think Tim and I will be able breath better knowing that the chance of miscarriage drops considerably. So that will be relief for us. Best of luck from my family to yours.

Thanks, your husky is lovely too, lovely eyes!! Our husky is called Neo, he is a lot bigger than the photo now he's 10 months old now. He's full of energy, very playfull and a bit of a comedian, follows me everywhere!

I have been a diabetic for 22 years. since I got pregnant I have been having a problem with knowing when it drops low. i am getting on an insulin pump this week to help control it. I tested 15 minutes before it dropped and it was 132. Hopefully the pump will help.

We don't know the sex, I just can't call bubs 'It' now so I keep changing between saying he/she. Gut instinct says a girl though! Yes you can definately see it moving around and kicking at 11 weeks. Words cannot express how wonderful it is. Let me know how you get on.

I know, it's hard not to worry! But I am just happy to have made it to 11 weeks I guess! My next appointment is on July 20, so I am hoping that since I will be 12 weeks we'll be able to hear the heartbeat!

Hello! Congrats on your pregnancy! We have the same due date, 12 weeks, this Friday, YEAH!! I have a husky doggy too, he's five, I think they are THE most adorable dogs! This site is so nice, so I don't really feel like I'm going through this alone. Well, I am my fiancee and my family but this is my first pregnancy and I had NO idea how much I would WORRY! I just want everything to be lovely and I cannot wait until I can feel the baby move, I think I'll feel better then. Good luck to you!!!

I have to say that my Dr's appointment on Thursday & Friday, listening to the heart beat has made all of the hard times seem worth it now! I think it is time to relax and enjoy being pregnant!

Melanie~Congrats on your pregnancy. Looks like we share the same due date. This is our third. It's funny how nervous you become when you are pregnant. There is so much to worry about, but it is an exciting time! I don't have another appointment until July 20 and I hate the wait!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! You guys look like a cute couple. I can't believe you had such a hard time getting a sonogram done. I have had one every time I've gone it. I have only heard the heartbeat once because every other appt, I've had a sonogram and seen the heartbeat. I'm 16 weeks and due in December, can't wait. Good luck to you!

i had a checkup today im 10 weeks 6 days i wonder why i didnt get a u/s and this was a urgent care visit because i had cramping that wouldn't stop she set it up for monday anything can happen between today and monday what do you think i should do -concerned and very scared angie

Congrats on your pregnancy. You need to try and relax. Stress is not good. My mom had periods for the first few months with one of my sisters. She was born healthy.

Last night I went to the hospital because for the first time I saw blood. The baby is in my uterus, my cervix is closed, the heartbeat was there, and the baby has grown as expected. There is no reasoning for any spotting or bleeding, but thank god I finally got what I wanted to ease my mind. Hang tight ladies who spot, the Dr's don't have reasons for everything.
