UPDATE!!!!!! BERLIN ROSE WAS BORN........

I gave birth at 28 weeks gestation on January 20th at 3:12pm. Her due date wasnt until April 10th. We had to do an emergency C section. My water broke on the 18th and there was nothing to prevent her birth at that point. To save her life and mine they had to deliver her by C Section. She weighed 2 lbs and 1 oz, 12.9 inches long and as of 2-18-08 she has gained weight and is now 3 lbs 1 oz and is 16 inches long. She is gaining almost everyday now and she is increasing her breast milk intake daily as well. She has been completely breathing on her own for 2 weeks now. Before that she was just on the candela with room air. She has been off of her IV since she was just a week old. They call her their little Rock Star in the NICU. Just keep us in your prayers!! Thanks !!!

Wow she is doing great my nephew was a a preime 2yr ago and he needed lots of help so she is doing great... I cant blame you for stopping with just her It is still really good she still would not be here yet If I remember she wasnt due until April... well take care... I am so happy that i am pregnant once more but now i've been thinking that soon I sould have my little girl in April and nope im still starting all is going ok though... ttyl Rachel

oh my yes I bet it is nice being home, but is your little one staying in the hospital? It would be hard for me to leave her there every night. Two months, wow thats a long time too but at least you know she will be very taken care of there. Gosh good luck, this has to be such a hard time on you, your family is in our prayers.

well omg, I am so glad she is doing soo well. And glad to hear you are doing much better too. Yea I kinda freaked out alittle last night but Im just trying not to stress about it and stuff ya know? Gosh I dont know what I would do if I went into labor right now, we are so not ready. We are waiting until after the shower to get everything done...were you ready at all?

ok I just and freaked myself out...
I looked up more about your pre-eclampsia thing and it said hypertension is very closely related and can have the same effects. Well the dr's have said I have hypertension, hense the reason I had to wear that 24/7 IV. But they havent said anything about it since. But I did see it can be fatal to both baby and mother. Im freaking out now.

omg!!! thank god everyone is ok! Im so happy to hear she is doing well. I know her life was in danger at that point, but yours was too? I will def keep your family in my prayers. She is def a fighter, congrats on the birth. Keep me updated on her, and you.
