Yes. I have had this pain too. The first time I got it I was scared. I was on my toes the pain was shooting right up my bum. I went to the doctor after and she said that the baby could have kicked a ligament or it could have been an internal muscle spasm. She put me on a monitor to make sure that I didn't start any contractions. I'm not sure if we had the same pain, but it sounds like it! Good luck!

Its was my partner that told me i was pregnant lol. I didnt believe him n only actually did a test to prove him wrong. When it said pregnant i had to do the other one to make sure n i just cried my eyes out when that came back pregnant aswell. My mum was there with me n hugged me sayin its all gonna be ok. I was pissed off cos i'd only just started a new job, I'd been there about 3 weeks n i was still only a temp.I'd been at my old job for 3 yrs nearly if i'd of stayed there everythin wudda been so much better for us all. Needless to say with the complications i had at the beginning they got rid of me cos i had to have alot of time off. n i just felt like nothings gone right since which is why i was so down the other day when i wrote that blog. I feel like i've lost all my independence at the mo cos im relying on my bf a hell of alot. Some days im really excited n others i get really down about it all. I should be greatful i know cos i was told i'd never have kids naturally and there are ppl on here that actually TTC for monthsn even yrs and dont get anywhere but i cant help how i feel. Hopefully will feel completely diff when hes here :D x

Haha ok maybe not then. Yeah i'm gonna try n stay at home for aslong as poss 2. If you have a bath i will advise one thing. makje sure its not really hot just luke warm cos if its too hot it can actually stop labour. Thats something i learnt in an antenatal class i went to. I'd avoid pethadine yeah cos i also heard it can make babies drowsy, my mum had it when she was givin birth to me n i came out all floppy n blue. Gonna have my partner and my mum there. My mums well excited about it all she thinks its great that she's gonna be a young granny lol. xx

awww bless ya. I've never really smoked. well i used to social smoke back in my teen yrs but i got bored n didnt see the point in it haha. My bf smokes tho n its annoying. he only used to smoke a couple of cigs a day but now he smokes a hel of a lot. 10 cigs used to last him a week now he goes through at least 2-3 packs of 20s per week. I'm dreading birth i dont like pain at all i'm really mardy sayin that tho i still wanna try and go as natural as possible maybe only having gas and air at a push. we'll see when the time comes tho as to how brave a feel. Gonna try a waterbirth i think if theres a pool free when i get there. Hope u feel better soon. I'm sure ur mum would understand if u didnt get everything u said u would do today. after all she's been there before hehe. xx

lol well sex hasn't worked for me so far, i cant stand curry's so i've been eatin kebabs instead, but i'm now on the primrose oil and also raspberry leaf tea. oh n i'm also using my gym ball as a birthin ball see if that works lol. for some reason i feel really gd today. its only nearly 8am but i'm wide awake and i've felt the best i've been in ages. how are you doing? xx

hi, my baby did a big scare last week and I didn't call anyone it was 24 hours or even a little more but ladies had lots of suggestions, drink a sugary juice and lay down for any hour pay attention to any movement also cold water or another type of higher sugar snack.. i poked around at my belly for hours she finally moved after a big meal but it sure was scarey... has she moved yet?

My Doctor told me that if you don't feel your baby within 6 hours you NEED to call and that you should know the last time you felt him/her. She said "I don't know when I felt him last" is a bad answer. If I were you I would call ASAP.

hiya babe. just read your post about the amount of times your baby should move and my midwife told me you should feel at least 10 different moves in 12 hours.... if not, ring the midwife. Hope this helps xxx

I would not worry to much, but have you done a fetal kick count. Drink some really cold ice water, and lie on your left side, might even try poking your bellie a bit. Just pay attention to your belly, and see if the baby moves within the hour. If nothing go to your labor and delivery hospital to have a non-stress test done on the baby. Best wishes. My midwife was worried that our baby was too small and ordered another ultrasound to check his growth at 28 weeks. Everything was fine and the next time the doctor saw me he wasn't worried at all. Just said that baby is 'under average' but 50% of babies are, obviously. This is my third baby and I'm always told that I'm a bit smaller. Try not to stress too much - let me know how you go : )

I just had the same problem with measuring small. At 30 weeks I was measuring at 26 weeks. I had an ultrasound done and everything looks perfect! She was actually a little bigger than normal.
I would do a little internet research and see what you can find on "measuring small". Apparently it has a 50% false positive rate, so its not very accurate.

My doctor said that I am measuring small too, but he said that I have a long torso, and am on the smaller active side and that I am not going to show like other people. So, maybe you are the same way I am 5''7 too.

Hi, I went to the doctor yesterday and my doctor told me the exact same thing. I am 31 weeks and i was only measuring 29 . My doctor aid it could just be because I was small but they will have to do an ultrasound as well. Let me know how it goes. I will keep you updated on what my doctor says! Good luck.

hello sweet this is only hard bottom trainers/shoes that are bad for babys feet - i have brought trainers for my little man but they are called pram trainers so soft bottom - are they a make? arnt they cute??????? i have brought my little man la coste ones cant wait to see him in them and timberland boots x x x soft bottems of course x x

I've only gained 5 lbs because I lost a bunch of weight in the being. Don't worry, its totally normal. Your eating well. I would not worry about eating extra calories unless your doctor shows concern at your next visit.
