So I am in week 39! Yikes! I remember finding out that I was pregnant like it was yesterday. I think that I am going through the panic that I went through that day too. My hubby and I have always been excited (after the initial shock!) and now it is pure anticipation. We have been together since I was 16 and married since 21 and always planned on children but didn't plan when. We knew God would have that part covered.
I don't want my son to come early, but I don't want to have him late either. I still have a lot to do around the house but I am sure I will get it done. We are going to name him Cameron Garrett Brown and the doc thinks he is going to be a good sized boy. Scares me... I wasn't nervous about labor at all until I heard that.
I wish everyone the best througout their entire pregnancy!

i already had my 39 week appt and since my doc wasnt there they did nothing. it was pointless. and my next appt is two days after my due date. im really getting upset!!!

I know how you feel, i gained 65pounds....so i cant wait to get my body back...i feel sooo huge, but i know its going to be worth it!! Is your baby moving lots still? I feel like he's moving less these past couple of days...i guess he's running out of space....
I have my doc apt tomorrow...so hopefully i made some progress!!
Hopefull we have our little ones next week for sure!! :)

i have had NO signs of labor either! matter of fact, at my 38 week appt my doc is the one who told me i was having mild contractions! i couldnt even tell! so i guess i am having BH and i just dont know it! i guess in a way its nice that im not having anything painful, but then again i feel like that means im going to be prego FOREVER!!! i really feel like my son is staying in here past his due date. its just a tad bit frustrating!!!

Thanks for your response. I'm waiting to hear from dr, but that is what a lot of people are telling me. There is a chance I could be off on my dates by as much as a week and a half. I just hope he decides to induce just because he is so big and placenta is slowing down.

I would call your doctor just to be on the safe side. If they feel it is too much they may want to check to make sure everything is ok.

I'm sure ur bleeding after the internal is fine... My dr. always warns before an internal "you may notice some spotting or bleeding for the next day which is normal, but if it lasts longer then that or if it is heavy period like bleeding then that's a cause for alarm"... so I think unless you have been bleeding over a day then your fine... good luck

I've dropped soooo much these last few days it's crazy! And your allowed to be grumpy these last few weeks, what with the options of piles, carpal tunnel, shrek fingers, swollen ankles, bad backs, braxton hicks etc we have a right to moan! Lol.
I'm due to have my baby this Thursday by c-section, I'm dead nervous, but sort of resigned to it now - I never had an operation of any kind before :-? Eek!

hey about the food thing I am in the same boat.. I eat cereal for breakfast usually around 9am and dont eat again until 2pm and even then Im not hungry. Still feel the baby moving and all that, and drinking tons of water. I think we are okay (o: just no room for food..

How frustrating - I mean they have all this technology and they've seen HUNDREDS of babies, you think they could have it almost exact, I mean 1 lb difference is a lot when its coming out the vajayjay! Well hopefully you go early (if baby is really that big). I have my u/s today b/c of my shrinkage last week so I hope that everything it just peachy, he's engaged, and under 9lbs!!!
