So I am in week 39! Yikes! I remember finding out that I was pregnant like it was yesterday. I think that I am going through the panic that I went through that day too. My hubby and I have always been excited (after the initial shock!) and now it is pure anticipation. We have been together since I was 16 and married since 21 and always planned on children but didn't plan when. We knew God would have that part covered.

I don't want my son to come early, but I don't want to have him late either. I still have a lot to do around the house but I am sure I will get it done. We are going to name him Cameron Garrett Brown and the doc thinks he is going to be a good sized boy. Scares me... I wasn't nervous about labor at all until I heard that.

I wish everyone the best througout their entire pregnancy!

I had an US with my last at week 38 he was looking like a bit over 10lbs. I was induced for size 4 days later & he weighed 9lbs 5oz! That was vaginal! I have heard US can be off a pound either way, if you are going to a good US place.

Glad to hear your u/s went well. It looks like I'll be induced next Wednesday at the latest. The outflow from the placenta isn't strong enough, so they're doing a follow up on Friday. If it's any less they will take him on Friday, and if it's the same they will induce on Wednesday. They think he's around 6 lbs 14 ozs, so not too big but better then he thought! Good luck!!!

WITH MY SON I WAS GIVEN A BPP WEEKLY FROM WEEK 37 UNTIL WEEK 39 WHEN I WAS INDUCED. THE U/S WAS SAYING HE WAS OVER 9 LBS. HE WAS BORN 2 DAYS EARLY WEIGHING 7 LBS 9 OZ. EVERYTHING IS AN ESTIMATE U/S N DOCS CAN BE OFF EITHER WAY.

Hello. My doc told me 2 days before I went into labor that I would have a sturdy 6 or 7 lb baby. My son was born 8 lbs 15 1/2 oz!! He's been delivering babies for over 30 years! They can be wrong. :o)

When I was pregnant with my son, I had an ultrasouns a couple days before I had him and the doc said he thought my son would only be 5 pounds at the max and his head circumference was small. A couple days later I had him and his head circumference was fine and he weighed 7 pounds 3.6 ounces. So, they CAN be wrong!!!

yea I don't blame you. but i am ready. I mean your on time if you go 38-42 wks since u/s can be off on your due date up to two weeks either way. Also 37 weeks is considered full term as well. I've yet to meet someone to deliver at 37 wks that their baby had to stay in nicu b/c they weren't done cookin' so you don't have to worry about that. But i understand the fattenin up part! My son came 3 day's early (he's my 1st) this time they say i could go a little earlier b/c subsequent pregnancies tend to come sooner, also they seem to be bigger as well...so i wouldnt really mind! I dont want a 9 pounder...haha...my son was almost 8lbs. I was over 9 and my hubby was right at 10! so i'm like okay no thanks! But either way I'll be happy as of monday i'm considered full term so if i make it till then (which i am sur ei will) i am happy! :0) Good luck to you...and i am sure you'll make it all the way to your due date, i'll pray for you!

cant believe that they would stop labor ! ur only a few days shy of 37 wks - my Dr said if i go after 35 wks they dont stop b/c of more complications w/ drugs - well good luck and hope you make it until 37 wks...

Hey there!! I have 2 boys and NO, they are not hard at all to take care of. Basically, keep em clean and use alcohol(cord) or vaseline(for the circumcision) everytime you change the diaper. Just pat, not wipe...and both heal up pretty quickly!! Congrats to you!!

Thanks for the props!! My husband must be so sick of my complaining when I get home and then again when I leave for work - but he has been good and rubbing my feet at night. Only 2 1/2 weeks left at work so I can make - I really want this baby to go on the due date that way I have the most time!! How are you doing?
