So I am in week 39! Yikes! I remember finding out that I was pregnant like it was yesterday. I think that I am going through the panic that I went through that day too. My hubby and I have always been excited (after the initial shock!) and now it is pure anticipation. We have been together since I was 16 and married since 21 and always planned on children but didn't plan when. We knew God would have that part covered.

I don't want my son to come early, but I don't want to have him late either. I still have a lot to do around the house but I am sure I will get it done. We are going to name him Cameron Garrett Brown and the doc thinks he is going to be a good sized boy. Scares me... I wasn't nervous about labor at all until I heard that.

I wish everyone the best througout their entire pregnancy!

Yea...someone else had said they may be true contractions, but just practice ones too...it's funny b/c on Friday at my Doc apt. I just got through asking if it was okay that I didn't have any yet, and she said yes, b/c some women don't get them at all...and low and behold...today...I'm planning on working right up until my due date as well...I want as much of the 12 weeks at home with my little guy as possible...and besides, i figure If I'm at home too long before he comes I'll just get bored and start overthinking about things :) I'm hoping I'll be able to hold out b/c the afternoons have gotten tough! Maybe my little guy will be a good boy and come early...as long as it's not too early. Blessing to you and your little one.

I don't think you are a bad mother for not buying your baby anything yet...I tried to hold off too until I had my baby shower although I did find myself buying a few little cute outfits from time to time, lol. My mom threw my family/friends shower on March 15 and then my co-workers are throwing me one on April 3rd so I will see what all my baby boy ends up with. Once the last shower is over...I am going to go use the 'many' gift cards/money I received and get him any outstanding items he still needs...which isn't very much as I had about 55 people at my shower on March 15. chamomile tea Is wonderful for colds!!!
It's actually made from a flower in Germany.. My husband suggested it for me when I had a Cold from hell, and Omg... It worked great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had a little on day and it was b/c i over-exerted myself and popped a blood vessel in my cervix - so it could be a couple dif things.

I have spotting like every 3-4 days and my doctors seem to think nothing is wrong, with my first baby nothing till labor came. They said soem women have it for no reason and everything looks fine with me.

Hi there! I had some spotting a few weeks ago, and I was sooooo scared. I got frustrated because everyone told me its fine and to relax but that is so hard to do when you aren't sure whats going on. Anyhow, the spotting stopped a few days later and I haven't had any complications other than that minor scare... they just told me if it gets heavy or gushes to go in right away but not to worry otherwise... hahaha not to worry.... yeah right, that seems impossible, right? =) Best wishes....

Yes I've experienced the rib thing! i am having our #4 and thankfully this time the baby is so low it feels as if he is going to fall out, but to me it beats having him up high. I carried my daughter so high she would literally kick my breasts! It was so painful. Good luck hopefully your baby moves down a little.

Ps i am due may 5th as well!! Congrats! I am having a girl, my first was a boy he's almost 5. Also I've been lucky like you good pregnancy and no morning sickness this time or last one either! we're lucky girls. When i have trouble sleeping i take a tylenol PM which my doc says is completely safe and that its just tylenol with benedryl. :) it works beautifully!
