About Me...
Hi! I'm Melissa. I'm 23 yrs old, happily married - for 3yrs now - to my sexy hubby Kevin ;). We had a beautiful February (2005) wedding. Kevin and I live in a small , quiet country village, surrounded by our family, raising our two girls - Gracey Anne (2yrs) and Lilah Rose (1yr)... AND now, we've recently learned -- a total surprise -- we're expecting baby #3 in July! Mommy is going to be busy, busy, busy! So, I'm a stay-at-home mom and wife... and I love it :). Secondly, I'm a hairstylist, and have an in-home salon and am also our little villages' AVON rep!
My Pregnancies...
I've been pretty lucky actually- my past two pregnancies were problem free. Everything was normal and ran pretty smoothly.
Gracey was long coming... My water broke, but I never had contractions or dilated for 36hrs, so I was then induced. After 12HRS -ahh!- of labour Gracey was delivered - naturally and with an epideral.
Lilah on the other hand... Started off the same, water broke, no contractions - was preparing myself for another long haul haha - when 'magically' the fun began. After only 1HR of labour Lilah was delivered - again naturally, but this time ALL NATURALLY haha - was no time to get the epideral... an experience I will never forget :).
So far pregnancy #3 has been totally different. I've still been healthy, BUT I have never been so sick in all my life! But yay for meds! haha... Doctor has put me on medication for sickness - which I am told I may have to stay on. I'm hoping to find out the sex again this time.... Maybe with this time me being so sick Daddy will get a boy??

Hi Melissa, Don't stress about odours too much. Because your hormones are out of whack - you are likely to develop a yeast infection. Thats the cause of the smelly vajayjay. Douches, soap, powders and deodorant just make it worse because they upset the balance down there. So try to avoid them. If you do use a soap -try one with a neutral PH. Otherwise just use water and a towel. Doctors try to avoid treating yeast infections because it may have an effect on baby. Speak to your doc as well. Hope this helps. By the way - a good natural remedy is eating lots and lots of cultured yoghurt and putting some down on a sanitary towel and wearing it (unflavoured yoghurt on the towel/napkin, of course) -try for about five days. May be abit sticky though.

Hi Melissa, I had an experience almost exactly like that at 14 weeks. I started feeling pressure in my tummy, and it became hard to stand, so I looked down and noticed my stomach had flattened out... this really scared me so I laid down, and could suddenly feel the baby rolling around in there like crazy for about 5 minutes! My book 'What to Expect..' says that the baby can be felt as early as 14 weeks, but is more commonly felt between 18-20! Isn't it the best feeling?! I have since felt the baby move a few times but it has never been as strong as it was that day!

lol! I had the same worry (I'm a twin). my belly shot out too. My mothers still convinced i'm havin more than one. She doesn't trust these new fangled scanning machines which tell me i'm just havin the 1! lol! baby's head engeged yesterday evening and woah! i did not believe it could be that uncomfortable! but i guess having a head wedged in yr pelvis is never gonna be pleasant! haha!

I went on Herbal Magic 1 about 2 years after I had my 1st baby, and within 3 months lost about 22lbs (about 1-2lbs/wk). If I had been a bit more determined, I probably could have lost more (I'm 5'8 and weighed 160 lbs prior to the loss). Now I'm pregnant with my 2nd (7.5 wks) and already am showing, but I'm not too concerned 'cause I will definitely start with Herbal Magic once I've had the little one (only thing that you can't breastfeed while on this diet). Good luck! If all else fails there are some great undergarments that suck it all in... :)

Everyone that I talk to says the South Beach Diet works wonders for preggys trying to lose there pregnancy weight. They also say it works wonders for belly fat:) My mom is doing it, she's 56 and she looks GREAT!! She's been doing it for about 3 months.

See and since you already have 2 young ones it is probably not going to be much different for ya. I have had peaceful sleep for many years, haha! And I have a pre-teen that thinks the world revolves around him, so I should be in for quite an awakening :o) This is my hubby's and my first together so we will have some new adventures with that as well. I am so excited for it all tho!!! Yes, we will have to keep in touch :o) And get some belly pics up! I didn't do many belly pics with my boys so I am trying to keep up on them with this one!! Hope you have a great day!!
