well a little about me, I am 29 and am the mom of 6 kids, yup 6. I have 4 girls and 2 boys. I love every minute with them just watching them learn and do everything I remember doing. I work at night as a nurse in you guessed it L&D or sometimes pediatrics. Its nice it gets me out of the house and gives me some kind of adult interaction. I am happily married now for 5 years and been with him for 10 though. He is such a wonderful husband and father I couldn't ask for anything more. Things in our house is hectic but hey it keeps us on our toes.

Well I kind of knew it but the home test confirmed it, I am pregnant. This will be number 7 and the last. I have to say we can't be any happier. Made a doctors appointment for 3 weeks and estimate my DD will be around Aug 20, 2008.

Well I got to the doctors finally, I think this was the longest I had to go before getting to see a doc. I had to switch doctors which was really hard for me but we moved and live way to far from my old ones . Oh well. The one I had today was really nice and I really liked her. Got to hear the babies heartbeat right away it was 160 and everything else was right on track. Got to wait 4 weeks to go back but atleast all is well for now.

Well I had my doctors appointment today and all was good. Measuring right on track and babys heart rate was 155-160 and wouldn't stop moving everytime she went to look for themLOL stubborn child already. Go for my ultrasound in four weeks to see if its another girl or the boy my husband is hoping for. I think its a girl but who knows I was wrong with the last one. Guess we will see. So all is well so far hopefully it stays that way.

Well I have my u/s today and we found out ITS A BOY!!!!! My husband couldn't be happier. It was for sure a boy though I made sure and there was no taking that one away. Everything is fine with him, he has all the parts he needs and everything is the way it should be. So for you guys counting on the high heart rate meaning a girl, its BS his heart rate has always been 160 and he is a boy.

congrats on your baby boy, I found out on Fri that I'm having a boy. I just knew it was a girl because all the wife tales said it was a girl and the heart rate has been anywhere from 160-170!

Was your gallbladder pain consistant? This is the second time I've had pain like this where it goes to my stomach and then feels like I'm getting a stomach virus, but I don't. Today I feel perfectly fine as if nothing happened. I have a doctor's appt tomorrow and I will ask then. I just wanted to hear from you and what else you experienced.

Thank you!! I feel aweful..how's it even possible for a cold to turn in to the flu? You'd think that after suffering for 2 weeks with a cold, it would go away and you'd have your health back....but noooooo, not in my case lol. I'm sitting here crying and thinking why me? Why me? LOL I'm such a baby.

congratulations on no.7 i envy you.....i love big families ......im having my 5th and i think it will be the last........doing it rough with heartburns, sleepless nights varicose veins not to mention the weight....but funny when its all over....i dont know for you but for me i kindda miss the pregnancy routines........will that mean i might end up with the 6th...ahhhhhhhhhhhh

im so glad that proactiv works for some one lol. I tried using proactiv a few months back and it just made my face worse. Congrats on your pregnancy. I know the struggles and pleasures you can get from having so many little ones. Its very stressful but worth every headache and sleepless night.

I agree with you 100% ~its all in the genetics! But even though I know that, I'm still using the creams and have bought 3 kinds so far! Congrats on #7! I think that's amazing! :)

Oh, but I do think you're nuts..And I'm nuts...and everyone else who has large families are NUTS! But how else could we manage to make it another day with all or most of our hair and a smile on our face?! LOL At lease we're not trying to 'be like everyone else' with their 2.4 (or whatever the number is) kids, 1 dog, and white picket fence surrounding a nice 'clean' yard! I'm lucky to get 'weeds' to grow in my yard with all the trampling and toys in it! Have you seen that movie 'Your, Mine, Ours'? My house sort of looks like hers! LOL That sounds like my husband too...wanting a 'sports star'. I call him my 'Al Bundy.' So how have you been feeling? Are you one of the lucky ones who doesn't catch 'anytime sickness'? When this one is born in April that's what I'll have...4 girls and 2 boys. My sons are upset bacause they wanted things to even out a bit! Oops! They said 'well I guess you'll just have to try again!' What a couple of nuts! How old are your kids? Mine are 15, 12, 8, 3, 2. I never in a millon years planned to have so many. I am one of the lucky 1-2% (or whatever the odds are) that birth control doensn't completely work on!! But now, I would not change it for the world.
I noticed that you're an OB nurse? I've been a 'computer geek' for quite a long time and quite frankly...I'm sick of computers! I've been thinking of going to school for nursing...OB nursing to be exact, if I can get over my needle phobia! What's it like? What exactly would I have to do to get started?
Well, I better go get my urchins. They tend to complain quite a bit if I'm late! LOL I hope to hear from you soon! :)
