Went for a doctors appointment this afternoon. All is looking good!! Both babies were VERY active today, so we couldn't find out the sexes just yet... :-( Oh well, I go back on Halloween!! Of all days!!! Hopefully then we can find out the sexes. I am just dying to know!!!

October 9: 18wks. 1 day

Not too much going on this week. Babies are moving a lot lately. I am finally starting to show now!! Its so weird how in just one week my belly has grown so much!! I actually look preggo now, lol!!!

OCTOBER 24: 20WKS. 2DAYS

Well, not much has been going on the last week or so. Exactly one more week until the BIG U/S!!! Yay, I can't wait!! I am soooo ready to find out what we're having!!! Well, I just wanted to update on here........Until next week!!!

Oct. 31 21wks. 2days

Happy Halloween!!! Well, we went for our "big u/s" this morning....It's 2 GIRLS!!!! My poor husband, LOL!! We already have a 5yr. old daughter, and now 2 more girls!! He will be the only male in the house!! But he is ecstatic though. My bp was a little high, (163/97) yikes!! So I have to go back Friday morning to check it again.... :-( I really think it was high because I was so anxious about the u/s. I didn't go to bed until 2 a.m. and was up at 6a.m. The doctor told me to go home and keep my feet up until Friday morning to see if that helps. So, we'll see!!

Nov. 2 21wks. 4days

Went to the doctor this morning to have my BP checked. It was a little lower than Wed. but still not that great (140/90). So I have to go back next Thurs. Hopefully they can get this problem fixed. I feel o.k. though. The babies are moving A LOT!! And I LOVE IT!!! I can actually see my belly move when they are moving around!! Well, I will update again soon!! ;-)

Nov. 2

I forgot to mention that we have names picked out also!! As of right now the names are.....Jadyn Lyn & Jayme Michelle Edwards. Baby A is 14oz. and Baby B is 12oz. Now, I think I said everything, LOL!!!!

Nov. 13 23wks. 3days

Well, not much going on lately. Went to the doc. last Thurs. and BP still borderline, arghh!!! Did lose 4 pounds since the week before that. And the girls are side by side, and both are head down. The doctor said everything looked great. We finished painting the nursery....well, my husband finished painting, lol!! The walls are pale yellow w/white trim. And the theme is precious moments. I have the lil precious moments crib sheets/set and wall decorations to match. So I will be busy getting the room decorated this week. Other than that, I am just waiting for Thanksgiving to get here. I want turkey!! And all the fixins and desserts, lol!!! Well, I am out for now!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We had a very nice Thanksgiving at my parents house. Sooo much food!!! And football....GO COWBOYS!! Well, that is about all!!

Went to the doctor today for appt. Everything is looking great!!! BP was normal (for once) and I only gained 2lbs. since the last appt. on the 8th of this month. I thought I gained about 10lbs. at Thanksgiving, LOL!!! And I am still 2lbs. less than my weight at my "first" doctors appt., so that is good!! Both babies are still head down. So I couldn't be happier right now!!! Well, I am out for now!!

Dec. 20 28wks. 3days

Went to the doctor for appt. BP was very good!! One of the girls is head down, and the other is head up. All looks very good!! I go back to the doctor Jan. 8th for an u/s. They will get the measurements of the babies. Well, that is about the highlight of my day!!!

Well we had a wonderful Christmas. Santa was good to our family!! I hope everyone else had a great Christmas too!! The babies are moving a whole lot!! Sometimes it feels like my skin is about to rip apart about 3inches above my bellybutton. I guess they are turning or something, but it is quite uncomfortable. Other than that I feel great!!! Well, I am going to lay down, so I'll be back later!!!

Went to the doc for u/s. Had the most awful news given to me....Twin B didn't have a heartbeat. I was sent to the hospital and was monitored thru the night.

Jan. 9 31wks. 2 days

Had a c-section performed. Twin A (Jayme Michelle) came out at 1:34p.m. weighing 3lbs. 10.7oz. She was taken to the NICU and is very active. Twin B (Jadyn Lyn) came out at 1:36p.m. and weighed 2lbs. 7 oz. So today was a bittersweet day.

Well, today we buried Jadyn Lyn. That was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I know God has his reasons for things....but, that doesn't take the pain away. I have to be strong for Jayme though. And I think that is what is getting me thru it. Going to the NICU keeps us busy thru the day. Well, I am gonna go for now.

Well, just wanted to update my page. I haven't been able to do so lately with us going to the hospital to see our baby Jayme. She is doing well; she is now bottle feeding, and is weighing 4lbs. 3oz!! The NICU nurse said maybe by the end of next week she can come home!! YAY!!!! I sure hope so!! On Wednesday, (Jan. 30) she will be 3 weeks old!! I am still having a hard time dealing with the loss of Jadyn though. I can't help but wonder what she would look like @ 3 weeks old; and if her and Jayme were identical or fraternal. They never found that out. All we know is that they were in 2 sacs. My doctor says that they still could have been identical. Anyways, things are getting a little better!! I celebrated my birthday today. The big 3-0!!! I have to say I don't "feel 30" though, lol!! Well, I am about to call it a night.

Feb. 1

Jayme finally got to come home!! WoooHooo, I am soo excited!!! After 3 long weeks in the NICU, we can finally have her home and all to ourselves!!

Feb. 6

Jayme went to her first pediatrician visit today!! She now weighs 5lbs. 6oz., and has grown an inch and a quarter. She is now 17 1/4 inches long! Yay!! She has been doing very well!! Her big sister Jessika loves her soooo much!! It is just the sweetest thing I have ever seen!! She always wants to hold her and have her picture taken with her baby sister!! I just love it!! We are so blessed to have everything going so well!!

Feb. 14

Happy Valentines Day to everyone!! We had to take Jayme to Houston for an eye appt. and everything came back normal, yay!! Thank goodness!! Well I am worn out now, and bout to call it a nite!!

Jayme had a doctors appt. this morning. She now weighs 7lb. 8oz., and is 19 1/4 inches long. Doctor is very pleased with her growth!! She is 8 weeks old today!! Wow, time really flies by!!

Jayme went to the doctor today for her 2 month shots. She is weighing 8lbs. 8 oz., and is 20 1/2 inches long!! She is 11 weeks old today. Jayme is staying awake more throughout the day, and is smiling!! Well that is about all that is going on these days!!

Jayme went to the doc for her 4 month shots. She weighs in at 10lbs. 12oz. and is 21 inches long!! She is 4 months old now!!! She coos all the time too!! And she eats infant cereal. Her cheeks and legs are getting pudgy!!! I think she has her daddy's appetite, lol!!! ;o)

Jayme had a doctors appt. today. She now weighs 14 lbs. and 12 oz. & is 23 1/4 inches long. Wow!! I can't believe how big she is getting!!
