Hi my name is Mel. I am 34 and have two children and a wonderful hubby Simon.
I found this site when I was pregnant with Quinn who was born on 7th of August 2008. She has completed our little family and we couldn't be happier. Quinn has a big brother, Mitchell, who is five and completely besotted with her. He said yesterday... "she is the love in my heart" How beautiful is that!
I have really enjoyed sharing with all the mums and dads on this site and love the sharing of information that goes on here. Any time of day I can ask a question and get some feedback... you guys are wonderful.

I WISH my little smiley girl liked to sleep! She cries and throws a fit all evening and takes HOURS to put her to bed. Usually she sleeps from 12 or 1am for 6 to 9 hours. But lately putting her to bed has litterally been taking 2 or 2 hours. It drives me crazy. My husband today got upset that I "wasnt helping to calm her down." I was so annoyed that he expects me to be the one who has to calm her down every night and put her to bed. Sorry to vent, just frustrated. Hopefully we'll move past this stage soon.

I am actually back at work right now. Sitting at my desk, looking at a giant photo of my lille "goo." I wish I could just stay home. Right now Im working part time - 12:30 to 5pm and my mom is staying with her at my apartment. Its hard going back to work! Especially if you are only breastfeeding cuz then you have to worry about pumping. I have to make sure I pump even if I dont have time, otherwise Maddie wont have lunch the next day. I wish I could just be at home laughing with her.

Thank you! Yes ever smile comes with tons of babbles. Like she is telling me a really funny story - it cracks me up. Sometimes we'll catch each others eye and we BOTH just erupt into a huge smile at the same time. I LOVE IT! How is your little chicky?

LOL... ripping then a new one.. hehehe.. that basically sounds about right!!! 4 months already? It feels like just yesterday that I found out I am pregnant.. but then it feels like it has been forever... strange...
I hope to post some pics soon! Had a midwife appointment this morning so she is all ready and lying right.. just has to decide that enough is enough now... hopefully that is soon though!!

He cut his hair like that! He watches his daddy do it all the time, and while I was out one day he decided to cut it like that. Well, when I got home this was how it looked. The girl I had watching him was crying and all upset. I said "why the heck didn't you shave it the rest of the way?" lol. I was mad, but it was hilarious and she was mortified... I had to snap this shot first for years of embarassment to come
