hi there...

Im not really sure as to what to write in here but here it goes...this is my first pregnancy and it has been a little crazy first of all i have wanted this day to come for 10 years ...i am getting married july 21 and my fiance already has a son from a previous relationship ...the boy is 5 and quite a handful....anyway back to me...lol afterall this site is about us ladies right??....well i found out i was pregnant 6 weeks ago and figured i was just about 3 weeks along and to my surprise i was about 7 so the dr said...lol i can not remember when my last period was so may be the due date could change...due date is Jan 10 2008....never know i have been really stressed out the last week ....my best friend had a baby on the 13th of June and we had to say goodbye to her on the 5th of july ....she stopped breathing in moms arms and never came out of the hospital....we all prayed and wished and hoped but now realize she can help other lil babies live on.....has been pretty emoitional for me..

july 25, 2007...well the wedding was great not too big not too small and the ceremony was a whopping 15 minutes ...woohoo us a great time anyways i got for my first u/s on august 15...cant wait...soooo excited

Aug.6, 2007....i think i may have felt the baby move today it felt really wierd to be honest...you know when you see a buttrefly and its moving its wings ever so slowly when it has landed on something...thats totally what it looked like it shoulda felt like, if that makes any sence whatsoever...hope all is well with everyone and good luck mommies to be!!

August 15, 2007.....well i would love to say this week i was going to be 19 weeks but i cant cuz my dr misjudged my date by 3 weeks too early...my new due date has changed to january.31, 2008....oh well the good news is that i had my u/s today and the heartbeat was at 144 i believe...its so amazing to see a lil life inside you ....as of tomorrow(thursday) i will return to the 16 week page:(...oh well i will just have to hold out a little longer to meet my lil stinker.

August 8 2007......sorry its ben so long....i have news ...we found out last thursday we are having a girl....shes moving around like crazy ...i went to a concert last monday and she went crazy in there.....the day after i put music on at home and again she went crazy....i feel her moving more when i am sitting on a chair .....when i lying down i dont really notice all that much ...all the u/s tecs keep telling me shes a very active baby and to have fun...i think these next few months are gonna be crazier in my belly ....lol....feels so wierd!!!...talk to ya all soon!!!for those of you in CANADA happy turkey day!!

not too sure whats going one with the date above...whatever tho ...ok week 29 (november 16/07.....everything going well had to go get more bigger clothes lol....grrr .....have another u/s on the 17th of dec to check position and weight...hope everything is well with you all

Well baby Cassidee has arrived sorry it has taken sooo long to write about my experience bringing her into this world been kinda crazy around the house ...we have had family here up until tuesday of this week (12th)...anyways...i had my final u/s on the 18th and the tec asked me when my next dr appt was so i told her it wasnt until the 25th of jan...she told me to see if i could get into my dr earlier then that this being a friday i was umm is there something wrong she says no just see if you can get into see your dr before that...so fratically i call friday afternoon to find out the ofice is closed ...so i worry alll w.e and call first thing monday morning and the secretary tells me that i can been seen the next day (22nd)....so tuesday morning i arrive and dr tells me he wants to keep Cassidee in me till the bitter end ...as soon as i asked about why the tec told me to get into see dr earlier he was like umm ok hang on ...came back with my u/s results and tells me we are gonna induce you tomorrow(23rr)...my mom and sister arrive this day also....i ask dr why we are suddenly inducing and he says that my amnioctic fluid is just below normal therefore its time for baby...so i went from very scared to extremely nervous and excited....ok so hospital calls me at 6 30 am on the 23rd and tells me to be at the hospital at 8am.....get to hospital 5 minutes late haha .......dr meets me in my room and cervidil is givin...(OUCH).....so thats all good for 24 hours ...he checks me morning of 24th and cervixis at 1 cm thick and not dialated...so here comes the drip.....at about 4 pm still on the drip dr calls hospital and gets info that im cramping every 5 mins for 25 seconds...nothing major......he then tells them to unhook the drip as it is not working in my favor....he shows up to talk to me at around 5pm....all my family is there pretty much.....dr checks me out and finds out that Cassidee's head is way too high and i am only a fingertip dialated....he kinda laughs at this and then tells my its c section time the following day(friday 25th).......so i have my epidurlain the OR around 2 30 pm that afternnon....dr starts digging around and i feel this sharp pain......so the give me more drugs (haha)....still i feel the pain again.....then dr decides to give me a spinal(not too sure what exactly that is)....so we waiot a few minutes for that to kick in and back to work he goes ...yet again feel some pain still ...the last thing i remember hearing is dr telling DH that its time for him to leave the room...

Well at 3:15pm on January 25, 2008 my lil baby girl arrives......Cassidee Mae.....i wake up in the recovery room around 5 pm i think and first thing i say is my baby ok...they nurses reassure me thats she great and up in the nursery....dr shows up to see how im doing...he tells me shes beautiful...i cry.....so they wheel me to my room on the mat ward of hospital and not one family member is to be found ...after the nurses get me all set up and stuff they ask if i need anything ...lol...i say well umm yeah how bout my baby and family?....shortly after i say that my hubby and family show up and still no baby after about 5 mins they wheeled my lil beauty in ...DH bawled and bawled.....kinda funny picturing a 6'7 husky built man crying like that ....he cried more then me ....musta been some great drugs they fed me ...anyways ...will update more in a few weeks....BTW ....Cassidee is doing Great!!!!!!
