My name is Melissa. I am 22 years old. I am a Paralegal working on defense Aviation in downtown Chicago. My boyfriend and I are expecting a baby girl. We are very excited for her to arrive!! I am almost 8 months along and ready to go lol. We found out over the summer that i was pregnant and we were in shock and didnt know what to do. I was scared to tell my parents because my family is very traditional and everyone gets married before they have children. I finally decided to tell my parents and they were very surprised because they thought i was more responsible. They got over it after about a day and had that talk with my boyfriend lol. Now everyone is absolutely happy and especially my mom cant wait to see her grand-daughter. Its her first so she is super excited. My family has been so supportive and so has my boyfriend. He spendas all his time with me. My mom has also been SUPER supportive she has been there through it all. I love her so much and appreciate everything she has done for me. She has given me the best advice a mom can give. She goes to the doctor with me as much as she can. My boyfriend has never missed a doctors appointment. When I am down he is always there to make me smile. He is going to be a great daddy and he cant wait to hold his little princess in his arms. He tells me everyday that he cant wait to see her. We are going to be a happy little family. I am soooo excited. Pregnancy hasnt been the best but it will all be worth it at the end when i get to finally hold my little angel Mariah Singleton!!! Since this is my first baby any advice would be great herp!!

SO I WENT TO MY DOCTOR YESTERDAY!! EVERYTHING IS GOOD WITH MY BABY GIRL. I HAVE TO TAKE A SECOND ULTRASOUND ON THE 29TH TO SEE HOW SHES GROWING. I HAVE A COLD AND BEEN FEELING TIRED LATELY. WE ALSO DONT KNOW MY EXACT DUE DATE. MY DOCTOR TOLD ME THAT IT'S BETWEEN JANUARY 27-FEBRUARY 8, 2008. IT SUCKS NOT TO KNOW THE EXACT DATE BUT I GUESS THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT. THE REASON FOR THAT IS BECAUSE I TOOK MY FIRST ULTRASOUND ON MY SECOND TRIMESTER AND THEY SAY IT'S BEST TO TELL ON THE FIRST TRIMESTER.

SO HERES AN UPDATE ON HOW MY PREGNANCY IS GOING....I WENT FOR AN ULTRASOUND LAST WEEK TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS OF THE BABIES BODY PARTS AND EVERYTHING LOOKED GREAT. I GOT MORE PICTURES OF HER. I WILL PUT THEM UP SOON. I HAVE BEEN FEELING GREAT. SHE HAS BEEN KICKING A LOT. I WANT HER TO GET HERE ALREADY. HER FATHER AND I ARE VERY EXCITED FOR HER TO COME. I HAVE BEEN EATING A LOT MORE LATELY BUT IM NOT SURE HOW MUCH WEIGHT I HAVE GAINED. I WILL FIND OUT ON MONDAY. SO THATS IT FOR NOW.

I HAD MY DOCTORS APPOINTMENT YESTERDAY. I GAINED 5 POUNDS. I TOOK THE DIABETES TEST AND THEY TOOK OUT LOTS OF BLOOD. EVERYTHING WENT FINE. NOW I HAVE TO START GOING EVERY TWO WEEKS.

JUST AN UPDATE ON MY PREGNANCY.....I WENT TO MY DOCTOR THIS WEEK AND EVERYTHING IS GREAT!! I AM NOT DIABETIC....THE BABY IS GROWING GOOD AND I AM GAINING GOOD WEIGHT. IM VERY HAPPY THAT EVERYTHING WENT WELL!!!

I WENT TO THE DOCTOR YESTERDAY AND I ONLY GAINED A 1/2 POUND IN 2 WEEKS SO SHE TOLD ME THAT I NEED TO EAT A LOT MORE!! I DONT KNOW WHY I DONT GET HUNGRY BUT I KNOW I HAVE TO SART EATING A LOT MORE FOR MY BABY. I ALSO POSTED NEW PICTURES BELOW OF MY BABYSHOWER THIS PAST SATURDAY. IT WENT GREAT I HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME!!

SO I HAVE BEEN HAVING A COLD FOR THE PAST WEEK. MY LEFT LEG IS MORE SWOLLEN THEN THE RIGHT. IT'S HARDER TO GET ANY SLEEP NOW. I WAKE UP AT ABOUT 5 AM EVERYDAY AND CANT GO BACK TO SLEEP FOR ABOUT AN HOUR THEN I HAVE TO WAKE UP FOR WORK SOON AFTER. I CANT WAIT TO GET SOME ACTUAL SLEEP BUT IM SURE THAT WONT HAPPEN FOR A WHILE SINCE HAVING A BABY IS HAVING NO SLEEP!! I WILL HAVE LOTS OF HELP THOUGH SO MAYBE I WILL GET AT LEAST A LITTLE SLEEP. I HAVE A DOCTORS APPOINTMENT ON THURSDAY TO SEE IF I GAINED ANY WEIGHT. I THINK I HAVE BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN EATING A LOT MORE LATELY EVEN IF IM NOT HUNGRY.

I AM SO READY TO GO!! EVERYTHING IS COMING AT ONCE...THE SWOLLEN ANKLES AND FEET, THE BACK ACHE, AND I GET SO TIRED FAST!!. IT'S HARDER TO WALK NOW AND BREATH. I GO TO THE DOCTOR TOMORROW. MY STOMACH GOT BIGGER OVER NIGHT. I JUST WISH SHE WOULD COME SOONER. I KNOW I DONT HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT BUT MY BODY IS JUST SO EXAUSTED.
