Here are pictures taken at 29 weeks! It was amazing and we think he is soooo perfect! We also got to take home 62 pictures and a 25 minute video of our u/s session! He was 16.5 inches long and 3.5 pounds!

Well, My husband and I got married Oct 2007 and found out we were pregnant Jan 2008. We are so excited! Our due date is my husbands birthday. WHAT A GREAT DAY! This is our first child.

Elliot didn't make me think of ET at all. Some people in our generation may make the connection but I don't think you will have to worry about his peers. Unfortunately our children probably won't know anything about ET. I like the nickname Eil.

Okay, right away I think of ET too. But if I had a baby face to go with the name then I wouldn't even think of it. My favorite nickname is Eli because people would know where the nickname comes from. If it came from his middle name, people wouldn't understand why you call him Jax when his name is Elliot. Like my doctor just told me, no matter what you name him, that name will fit him for the rest of his life and there will be no other name that will seem to fit after he's named.

I think the name is great. I really love the nickname Jax. We are naming our son Zephan (zef-en) with a the middle name Lee. Thats my middle name but also my sisters first name. Good luck on name picking.

mel, I think Eli is a very cute nickname, and I didn't connect Elliot to ET until you mentioned it. Anyway not many kids will make that connection by the time he gets to school. Another close suggestion would be Elijah, a name we breifly considered

Hey - i think Elliot is a lovely name! boys names are so hard to think of. Im from the UK and like you dont want a common name. We have partially decided to call the baby Harley if its a boy and Summer if its a girl. I think my fave nickname was Jax - really sweet! hope your ok otherwise?x

thanks. yesterday i was so down, i think its hormones, but my friend wanted me to send her a pic of my belly, and i realized how huge i am. i was really bummed last nite! i felt so unattractive, and then i saw the stretch marks i have on my legs and arms and belly and i felt so gross...
i've decided i look much better fully clothed! lol
