Hello to all!

Went to the doctor yesterday and had an ultrasound. They are weighing Sienna at 7.8lbs! I got to see her beautiful lips and nose! She's pretty stubborn and so far down, so I couldn't see her full face. I guess she wants to be a mystery until she's ready! Everything looks great. Blood pressure was good, everything is going great. I'm so ready to see her in person!

Had my last class last night - breastfeeding. So, now - it's just a waiting game. I've been going to the doctor every week. Hopefully, I won't have to have a C-section but whatever is best for her. Here is a picture from today! :-)

Went to the doctor today. Everything is looking good and she is still measuring further along. Started having braxton hicks contractions and getting really excited about her coming! Everything is completely ready for her. Stuff is washed, sheet on the crib, diapers stacked and etc. It's so funny now to watch my face when I get hot. My cheeks turn BIGHT RED and stay that way for a while. Guess I'm saving money on blush!

Since I'm going to the doctor every week now - I'm also getting a massage about every 10 days. I'm not use to allllll this weight!

Going to the doctor again this Friday at 4:15! I'll let you know how everything goes!!!

Hello to all!! So, I know I'm about a month late on getting an update on here BUT so much has been going on!! First off, we went to the doctors office and had an ultrasound. She is suppose to be weighing 3.3lbs right now and she's 5.4 lbs! The scary part is that babies are suppose to gain about a pound a week from here on out. Yes, she's going to be a big baby! Regarding due date...it's all up to her! The doctor is still keeping the May 31st date (only because it will be 40 weeks) but the doctor said that it just depends on Sienna. I'm going to start packing my bag just in case! LOL

We had a wonderful and eventful Austin baby shower this past weekend! We got a lot of the items that we needed which is such a blessing! We enjoyed everyone there and missed those that couldn't be there. I'll post some pictures of asap.

The belly has GROWN!!! You'll see once I put the most recent picture up here! She has been moving around and kicking me all day now!

We start our classes April 10th so I'm super excited about that! Every thursday for a month. Next doc appt is 4/17 and then another ultrasound 4/25 to see how much she has grown.

Oh! We couldn't do the 3D/4D ultrasound because her head is so far down. Yep - she's already upside down and has been that way for about a month and a half now!!!

So, the bedding came in and it is just beautiful! Monday after work, I had the major need to organize Sienna's room. So - off to the bedroom and an hour later - the bedding was up, gifts from the baby shower were all opened and organized, her SUPER CUTE clothes were hung, a rainforest sound machine placed on the crib for her to fall asleep AND we even hooked up the monitors. I just sat there and looked in the crib for about an hour. Carlos was there helping me and he's just so wonderful :-)

Yesterday, we had our first appointment with our new doctors office. Really enjoyed the environment and their knowledge. Oh - AND I'm a WEEK a head of schedule! There is talk about inducing two weeks earlier if needed due to size. Yep, I'm going to have a big baby (Thank Carlos) LOL

I'm so excited and a tad nervous. I hope I'm done with all my baby classes before she's here. AND - if not, it's ok. I 'll have a lot of help and love to make it.

Today we are going to tour the hospital! :-)

I finally ordered her bedding!!! Should be in by this week! HOW EXCITING!! We went camping this past weekend. I believe that it's the last time before Sienna comes! We had a blast. It was beautiful all weekend and relaxing!

Hello Everyone! Just an update for everyone. Sienna is doing GREAT. Kicking all the time and even wakes me up at night from her movements! This is such a sweet experience to feel her inside of me. Weird at first but now I can't fall asleep if I haven't felt her move. Carlos is getting more and more excited as the days go by. The crib is up, rocking chair in place and ordering the bedding soon.

So, latest news - My glucose test came back at 104 which is GREAT. Oh - and I switched doctors. Yes, I realise I'm 27 weeks but Carlos and I decided that our doctor wasn't going in our direction. Very excited about this transistion AND the doctor's office AND hospital is 2.34 miles away from our house.

I have made all the appointment times until she's born. I was a bit shocked as I only had to flip 2 papers on my calender to get to May!!! It's gone by so quickly!!!

We start our pre-natal classes April 10th, we go and tour the hospital March 15th, we've already went and visited a day care and have two more to go until we make a decision. I'm planning and planning but I hear that when she finally comes that planning goes out the window!! :-)

It's been about a month since I have made an update. Since then, I have had my 25th birthday with the best girl friends in the world. I came home to find my husband with the proudest smile on his face...He bought the most beautiful crib and put it together. I couldn't stop smiling at him. He's been so sweet and thoughtful throughout the pregnancy. I can tell that he is already whipped by this little angel within my belly.

In regards to Sienna, she has been moving constantly. I put headphones on the belly and I believe that her favoriate song is "Twinkle, Twinkle little star". I never thought that a simple song would make me smile all day.

We have another doctor's appointment on the 21st. I have to take my diabetes test (of which I'm not worried about). Also, we will get the ok from the doctor to go and take the 3D/4D ultrasounds. We can't wait to see what our little angel looks like! I heard that we will be able to see so many details! I'll keep everyone posted on it!

Baby Shower News!!!

There will be two baby showers. One in Louisiana (March 9th) and one in Austin, Texas (April 5th) Registered at Wal-Mart and Target! :-)

Thoughts: 1/24/2008

Hummm, do I notice anything about Sienna yet. Well, I know that when I'm trying to have a massage ,she loves to kick me. She use to not like eggs and chicken but I guess she's grown out of that stage LOL. Oh and this morning - she let me know that she didn't like Hazelnut Tea...since I found myself being best friends with the kitchen sink after I drank it LOL.

She LOVESSS to wake me up kicking...usually around 6:30 (right when the alarm goes off) and...when I'm at work - she uses my bladder as her trampoline LOL At night, when I'm reading - I'll have my hand right where she is and I feel that she becomes calm :-) I'm already so inlove with this little girl!

Latest Update: 1/22/2008

Everything went great duing our trip to the doctor's office today. We were a little worried because I was having pains on my left side. We were thinking that it was cyst but thank goodness it is just my muscles stretching!

We had an unltrasound. She's right at 21 Weeks and 4 days. Right on schedule!! Carlos had tears in his eyes as we watched her on the moniter. We have two wonderful pictures. The top is looking down on her face and she's waving to the camera. The bottom is a profile. Looks like she has mommy's nose!!!

She's kicking all the time now and loves to play at night! LOL

Everything is going great. We are painting the walls this Saturday and will be getting the crib next month. Wow - 5 months! How time flies by!!!

Our 12/27/2007 Update

Hello! We had another check up today at the Doctors office. Everything went smoothly. We asked the Doctor if I could have a flu shot since I had it in June. He said I'm far along now that I can. Also, her heart beat is 152 and is doing great. We could hear her moving so much and I'm feeling her more and more everyday! We have cleaned out the office and will be getting ready soon to paint the rooms. The crib and bedding is already picked out. Greens and Yellows with lace! I just want it VERY calming in the room.

We should be getting our pictures from our last Ultra Sound soon and I'll post iit up on the website! I'll keep everyone updated!

Our 12/18/2007 Update

We went to the doctor today and he said that he was 80% sure that it's a little baby girl! Sienna Lynn Benavides due May 31st 2008. She was moving ALL OVER THE PLACE. She looks all perfect from what the doctor says. 10 fingers, 10 toes, a beautiful little nose and the cutest little butt!!

Carlos almost cried he was so excited. So, we are now onto lace and sweet things!

The Masterson Christmas Weekend 12/14 - 12/16

Things were great at the Masterson Christmas. Dinner was perfect and everyone was there except for Grammy. She's doing much better but still dealing with her back. She saw the tummy and thought I was going to have TWINS! LOL Nope - just one little one in there :-)

Hawkeye was good. It's always wonderful to be with family. I think I'll enjoy Christmas more next year when I can party with the family - but this stage is totally worth the end result!

We find out tomorrow what the sex is! Can't wait - nervous, excited and everything in one! I'll keep everyone updated!

I took an AFP Test on 12.10.2007 at 8:10am. This harmless test is done to detect birth defects like down syndrome or spina bifida. This is a non-invasive test that carries no risk to myself or the baby.

Our results were PERFECT!

Another important date to remember is 12.18.2007. at 9am. We will be finding out the sex of our little joy! We will keep you posted!
