Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

i read your post about stress. Girl, I was under SO much stress when I was preg with my daughter. Me & her father werent on the best terms, College, my mom didnt approve of kids out of wedlock and to top it off my neighbors were trying to SUE us over my old dog.

My daughter came out healty and fine at 7lbs 12oz and as happy as can be :)

hi i brought a angelsounds doppler a few days back and used it yesterday and could hear the heartbeat clearly it was fantasic i heard my little bean moving around too hehe it was so cute! hope i helped, are you planning to get one or somethink? x

Hi Mel, I was having a ton of drama with my husbands family the last month too. Same thing all dramatics and lies and gossip. So I sat them down and explained to them that unless they wanted me to stress myself out so bad that I have a miscarrige then they need to leave me alone. They didnt take me seriously so I went and stayed at my moms house for a few days. That worked and now they have all seemed to mellow out. At least for now! Sometimes you just have to take a stand for you and for your baby, just be strong! I'll be thinking about you! Good luck!

Mels, I'm in the same boat as you--I'm terrified that when I go for my next appointment there will be no heartbeat. I'm trying not to think too much about it, but the thoughts are totally there, on the surface. Did you say your appointment is on the 6th? So is mine...

I had my appointment on Thursday [8weeks] and we saw the heartbeat but didn't hear it. I forgot to ask to hear it because I was in such awe of the sight of the flickering. I'm sure you'll be able to hear the heartbeat if the equiptment is good :]

read your comment on week 8 and just wanted to let you know that they will def be able to hear the hb. they can start seeing & hearing it at 6 wks. infact i had a u/s when i was 7 wks, and got to see & hear it at 133 bpm. so wanted to let you know that you will be able to hear that precious hb when you go in monday. good luck, i'll be thinking about you!

Hi I read your message on wk 8 about the morning sickness and it common for it to lift between 8 -12 weeks it just depends on the person. I had it really bad too and now it's gone I only get it if I eat to much!

I share your fear. My DH and I had to end our last pregnancy in March at 22 weeks our little boy did not have kidneys or a bladder and was in cardiac failure and ended up being a still born. I hope this one goes better for both of us.

hi, The u/s showed that I released 8 eggs and that was the probable cause for the pain. They said that hope fully this month one woud take. Also M opk test were pos for 8 days
So I am nto sure what that means!
