Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Friday, 1 August So glad you had a good time! You needed a vacation! Did you get a little bit of relaxation in?
I'm on facebook as well, I just am not good at it, and hardly on it. I'm on myspace way more often. My facebook is Holly Ferguson, both emails are holly1018@hotmail.com. I'll try to find you though.
I feel better. We cleared things up. I just was mad because he was ignoring Sawyer to play XBox. It's obviously a longer story than that, but that is the gist.
Things are good here though, I've been keeping busy, had a ton of appointments, and have his shots tomorrow... so sad! We have a lot of birthdays to go to coming up. One has a paparazi theme, and we are dressing up as Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty. I ordered a wig and fake tatoos from the UK! I'm super excited, just hope they get here on time!
Sawyer is doing good. He is sleeping a little more so that is nice. I was running a lot, but feel a little burnt out right now. I need to just go out again. I took today off, and yesterday I think I only ran about 2 miles, but ran 10 on Saturday. So, whatever.
Anyway, looking forward to more pics. Geoff and I are going to be in San Diego for Christmas this year. I'm really happy about that! I'm sure I'll want to get out of the snow around that time!
Ok, I'm really going now...

Tuesday, 29 July Are you back from your cruise? Are you on myspace? Miss ya!
(Kind of annoyed at my hubby right now. I hate that.) prego1018 -
Monday, 14 July Sorry I haven't been around for a while!!! I was SOOO dang busy, and not just because of Sawyer. We had so much going on last week, went camping with our little guy over 4th of July weekend, the Geoffs mom flew in late last week and is leaving on Thursday, and we have had appointment after appointment.
BUT, how are you??? Are things easing up a bit? I think you said it was getting tough with two little ones. It must be if it's busy with just ONE! Get your Jamba lately? Geeze, that sounds sooo good right now!
So, I officially didn't get a Phil and Teds. I end up getting a BOB because I REALLY want to train for a marathon and I don't think a Phil and Ted would keep up, from the reviews I read. I heard it's AWESOME for all but not built for jogging. So, I ran with my BOB for the first time today and it's great. Not as cool looking as a Phil and Ted, but the ride is smooth and the shocks are great and all that, so I'm happy. My husband doesn't understand why we have so many strollers, the travel system, umbrella stroller, a jogger now, lol!
So, I'm excited because I think I got hired for another gym here. I have my audition tomorrow, but she basically said I will have my own class right from the start, and there is a lot of opportunity to sub. It's a really nice place, so I'm excited! I get to teach spinning which is one of my favorite things to teach. I just hope I'm healed enough to start Saturday. I have my 6week appt. on Wednesday, so I'll see what she says.
Anyway, got to go eat something, I'm STARVING!!! prego1018 -
Wednesday, 2 July I can't believe you worked out after getting up at 3:30 for the feeding. After I feel Sawyer, all I can think about is the bed awaiting me!!! How sad is this, I went to the dentist today, and it was actually nice to sit and relax in the chair. RELAX?! The dentist is no relaxing venture and it felt relaxing?! Haha, guess that is being a mom!
Night terrors sound horrible!!! Poor guy! It must be hard knowing there is nothing you can do to help him. Awww. Good thing that he won't remember it when he wakes! I think Sawyer had nightmare the other night cause he woke up right away screaming, and when I picked him up he was still screaming but not really awake. He actually never really woke up, it was weird.
We haven't had any out of town visitors yet, but Geoffs mom is coming next week, so I'm sure things will get even busier then!
Ahhh, got to go, Sawyer just puked on me...
More soon! prego1018 -
Sunday, 29 June Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you!!! It seems I'm on here all the time, but it's usually to pass the time breast feeding or whatever and I never have an extra hand to type!
How has your week been??? Mine is good, just busy. The waking up every few hours has been catching up with me. I would love one night of maybe 4 hours in a row. That would be amazing. Also, I think my brain is doing some adjustments to my dreams so I sleep longer. I have dreams that other people have babies and they are crying, so the crying I hear, I think is a dream, but is really Sawyer wanting to be fed. Poor guy! My body will do anything for an extra hour of sleep!
Speaking of Sawyer, he is still fussy and still wants to be held all the time, but has a new interest of his surrounding. He likes to be held out so he can see stuff . Just another one of those growing up steps that is cool, but sad at the same time. Before I know it, he will be 18!
Yes, Jamba should TOTALLY have a drive through! You know what is weird though, every time I go in, they seem to take a while to make the smoothies. It's like, they don't have to cook anything, the blenders are already set up, fruit washed and ready, what takes them so long? Haha.
So, might go camping for the 4th of July and I'm really excited. I am finally feeling a little better "down there" and LOVE camping. We normally would jeep to some cool spot, but I don't want Sawyers head to be bouncing around, so we might take our other car to a normal paid for spot. Oh well, at least I can get my camping in!
How is San Diego doing?? I miss California!!! I'm hoping to get to L.A. sometime in the next 2 months! prego1018 -
Tuesday, 24 June Tae Bo?! That is way more than I'm doing! Good work! I used to go to Billy Blanks Studio in L.A. all the time, it was awesome. The funny thing is when he teaches the class, it was always pretty easy, his sister and daughters teach an insane class though! I was addicted and spent all my money on going all the time, haha, I miss that!!! Well, I'm still bleeding bright red, which I'll take as a sign to not do too much, and my stitches still hurt here and there. The don't hurt as much as last week, but I still feel the for sure! (Get ready for TMI) I figured out the places I tore, and now understand why it hurt so much. I'm literally sewn together everywhere down there! Ewww.
So, I TOTALLY feel you and the no sleep thing and wanting to be held all the time. The only thing that helps us at this point is this glow worm doll thing that Sawyer loves! We call it his girlfriend. Anyway, if we set him on his side facing his girlfriend, he stares for a while and I have five minutes to do something i need to. It works most of the time, but not 100%. I'm also sooo tired from him eating so much at night. I think he is going through a growth spurt now. Oh, he is also up to 8 pounds. He is my little porker!
So, didn't buy a stroller yet, but pretty sure I'm getting a BOB. I don't like them as much as the Phil and Ted's, but I also heard that the P&T is really not recommended for running, and I don't want to ruin it, or my runs once they start to get long. Are you going to run with yours? If so, you will have to tell me what you think. I really did want that one, but I'm kinda scared that I'll love it for everything BUT running. :(
Crazy weather there! Hasn't been so bad here, nice, but not bad. Then again, don't get out too much these days. One outing a day is what we get, and sounds the same over there! So, two kids is way harder huh? It's funny cause everytime I think about him smiling, or crawling, it's exciting, but sad cause that means he is growing up, then I think about having another one. Lol. But, one is tiring, I can't imagine, two little tiny guys.
Well, your pictures are adorable. You two make some cute kids! Doing anything for the fourth??? prego1018 -
Friday, 20 June
Sooo cute! Sawyer is wearing this firefighting onsie right now, too funny! prego1018 -
Wednesday, 18 June Haha, good timing! I just happen to be on, and Sawyer is taking a nap (shocking) so here I am! You only bled for 2 weeks?! Nice! It's been over 2 weeks and I'm still bleeding a bit. That isn't the part that bothers me though. I tore and it still hurts. I can feel my stitches sometimes, and I think I would be totally fine if I didn't tear both ways. It's the tearing towards my front that hurts! I usually go for a walk almost every day, but it's after the walk that the stitches will make themselves known. I CAN'T wait for them to heal, cause all I want to do is go running!!! So, I'm jealous that you are working out!
I would be mad if the hospital got my baby on a pacifier too! Geoff (my hubby) gave Sawyer a pacifier one night, and he wouldn't breastfeed at all that night. Sometimes I'll put one in his mouth, but it's rare, and I don't think Sawyer really likes it now anyway. BUT, he still likes to comfort nurse on me, which can get demanding, and slightly annoying at times.
Good that your little one is still getting some good sleep in. Sawyer is already over his naps. He gets pretty fussy from morning until about noon, then gets a little easier in the afternoon. He likes to look at things, so if he happens to be awake at night, he will be mad until you turn on some sort of light so he can see. So, no trying to distinguish nights and days with him!
Still not working. I'm not going to go back to being a flight attendant, but I am going back to teaching aerobics once I feel I am in pretty good shape, and I can teach a kick butt class without it kicking mine! haha prego1018 -
Tuesday, 17 June You guys can do it, feed him, feed him! My kid is a porker! He started small, and wanted him to be back to birth weight in 2 weeks... he was up it by almost a pound! Holy moly! Guess he is getting enough milk! His face is so chubby he looks like a totally different baby. How is the sleep thing going for you? Sawyer is becoming more and more of a night owl which can get rough at times, but in general is still a really good baby. prego1018 -
Monday, 16 June Did he put on some fat??? prego1018 -

Soooo cute! prego1018 -
Sunday, 15 June
He's a little model! Adorable!!! prego1018 -
Saturday, 7 June Wow, I'm sorry! That is a lot of trips to the doctors! And, you are right, what are they expecting him to gain in 24 hours?! Geeze, way to put the pressure on you, that doesn't help anything! It sounds like despite all of that, you and your family are loving him!
So, my story in a nutshell: Had contractions 3min apart, got checked, wasn't dilated, went in again the next morning with contractions 2 min apart, wasn't dilated, but the contractions were so strong and close they admitted me. When admitted, they were less than 2 min apart, and all the nurses were showing each other that contraction/heartbeat printout because they couldn't believe how much I was contracting. So, after several hours of pain, got the epi and LOVED it. I don't know how you gave birth natural, you are a hero to me!!!
So, dilated slow until I got to 6, then went from a 6-9 in 2 hours, and they said they would be back in 2 hours to check me and hopefully I would be at 10. 45 minutes later, I had Geoff get the nurse. She checked me and had me do a practice push informing me that pushing can last hours. At that push, she saw the head, and called the doctor who paged everyone else. Three pushes later he was out. From the time I told Geoff to get the nurse until he was out was 23 minutes. Haha. So, he came out crazy fast, and of course I tore, but whatever. (Still hurts to pee though!)
Sawyer Kyle Strebel weighed 5lbs, 15 oz , 19 inches long. Since he was sooo small for his age, they had to do a bunch of testing on him, and everything came back perfect, so he just is tiny! Of course he lost a few ounces, but I think he is gaining them back now. We had a ped. appointment yesterday and everything looks great, so that is kind of a relief. He breastfeeds like a pro, except for the one day daddy discovered the pacifier for him, and that night he wouldn't feed, so I put down the law and said no pacifier. Poor guy, but now he feeds great again. He is totally adorable, and I love just holding him! Oh, he has a little bit of jaundice but the doctors said it was so mild that it wasn't a big deal, as long as he is eating and pooping well.
So, that is my story. The crazy thing is, it doesn't feel that different having him here. It's so normal, and not hard. I may eat my words later, watch! My boobs are filled right now though , and it looks like I have a boob job. I was never not content with what I have, but I kind of like these new curves!
Well, looking forward to hearing more!!! prego1018 -

Wednesday, 28 May Thinking of ya! prego1018 -
Wednesday, 28 May You can do it! Soo cute about your little boy! Worried about his mama! I admire you trying to go without the epi, that's what I want to try, but am not sad if I give in to it, hear they are awesome. So, whatever you want to do, do it girl!
Push him out, push him out, waaaay OUT! (That was my cheer for you!) prego1018 -
Wednesday, 28 May Yay! Congrats! I hope it goes fast, and as painless as possible, and of course above all, healthy!!!
Update me when you can! Your going to be a mommy of 2 soon! prego1018 -
Tuesday, 27 May You wrote me last night, so I'm assuming tomorrow means today and that you might be having your little boy soon!!! How exciting!!! I can't wait to hear the update!
So, he came home yesterday morning with three donuts and asked which one he should eat. I was like, what, you want one??? Haha. They were yummy but in no way did anything to fill me up. What a total waste of calories!
My weekend was good. A friend came over and we hung out a bit, got to cuddle and watch movies with my husband yesterday. So, my weekend was in general relaxing.
Ok, I'm really excited for you, update me once you can! amandakaye -
Tuesday, 27 May I have never had this but my mom keeps telling me about how awful it is!! I feel really bad for you and hope they get that baby out so you can get some relief!! GOOD LUCK!
