My profile

I am so excited to be pregnant. Although things are going on smoothly so far, I am still worried all the time.

Feel like being a mom!

Good luck to you all!

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

I also had an internal examination last week and yes it hurt me also. I bled a little afterwards too. (which is fine apparantely). It won't hurt your baby, don't worry.
Sex doesn't hurt me though. Its just trying to find a comfy position which is the trouble!

thanks for your reply...its good to hear that someone else out there is the same. My kicks are very low too, and right around the sides, perhaps my baby has a "wider" space or something ha ha. I know what you mean about wishing for a bump.

I feel the baby kicking low too! Like really low! When my husband feels he always has his hands just barely above down there area. I am same as you, only a few times have I felt him kick higher. It seems like just recently they moved to higher up. Do you have a name picked out??

FirstTimeMommyR - Thursday, 24 July
That's true ~ I never actually thought about that!!

When I feel him kicking me and stuff it seems like it's really low. I guess my sweats are covering it, but I did notice I got bigger quite low. Are you having a boy too?

FirstTimeMommyR - Wednesday, 23 July
Yeah, I'm planning on teaching up until I deliver, basically. After, I'm only taking 6 work weeks (plus the two weeks for Winter Break). I teach special ed, and it's so involved ~ it's more stressful for me to not work than to work. Also, my hubby will be home during the days, so I won't have to worry about daycare or anything. How about you?

Emilie - Wednesday, 23 July
try not to worry too much, your lil one will be just fine, i go up and down as well, one minute loving my son, next second cursing cos i can't sleep and get comfortable, lol, i am sure you are doing all the right things so you have nothing to worry about, i was doing yoga up to 3 weeks ago, but now my bump is in the way and my baby keeps moving and protesting when i do a class so i just gave up. XX

Hi! My name is Becky. I'm 23 weeks pregnant, too ~ and I'm also a teacher, so I can totally relate to the extra "worry" time! Sometimes it seems that my brain literally seeks out more and more things to worry about!

Hi, I got a bit in the early weeks then it stopped then in week 18-now it started up again, the first time was when I first felt the baby move and now I think its when he/she does a full turn. I've also been getting car sick (which I never did) so thats why I am putting mine down to the motion. Hope this helps xx

The main issue of whether paint is suitable for children or not is based on the Lead content.

Basically, there are heaps of children-safe paints available and it might be wise to ask whoever is selling the paint or perhaps even look up paint companies on the internet and see which ones they offer as child-safe. Some even have a built in program where you can find a room similar to the one you want to paint and you choose colours and everything too. This is an Aussie site - but check it out. http://www.mycolour.com.au/

Paint fumes can be dangerous. Ok though if you keep the room well vented.
