Okay, so I went to the doctor's office monday november the 19th, and he asked me if I would liked to be induced, of course, I was tired of being pregnant, so I said yes and hoped for the best, I got the best. Deric and I were told to arrive at the hospital at 6am, so after getting Deric up and out of bed around 5:40 we left the house and you bet your ass I was speeding. We got there and they took me up to do lab work, and I was put in a room after that and they started my iv with the dreaded pitocen at around 7:30am. For a while I wasn't feeling anything, and then light contractions around 9am, I was still dilated to a 1...later on in the morning contractions got more painful so they gave me some pain medicine through the iv around 11am, after 12pm I was almost at a 3 and they gave me an epidural because contractions hurt so freaking bad. I was in complete agony. My legs went numb for the rest of the day, my labor in total was about 14 hour. I was finally dilated to an almost 10 a little after 7pm so the doctor came in and I started pushing, which was the most difficult thing ever because I could not feel anything at all. It took about 40 or so minutes to get through the pushing process and the doctor got her head turned, because she was OP. Sadie Skye was born on November 20th at 7:51pm, she weighed in at 7lbs 3oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. We got to come home today on November 22nd and she has been sleeping quite a bit. As for Deric, he is the best daddy in the entire world. And I have the best and most beautiful baby in the entire world. My little family is gorgeous. :) I am so happy.
