Hey ladies

My 1st baby Maya and my hubby are both wonderful blessings in my life. I'm not sure what the future holds, but my husband and I are excited about raising two babies. Many people tell me it's a lot of work, but even my 1st baby has not worn me down. I'm 31 and I am the happiest I've been in my whole life. I know babies are blessings and I can't wait for baby number two in May 15.

10-30 Today I'm feeling a little off. I'm forgetting a lot and I'm losing my balance when I walk. I'm not really craving any food, but I'm hungry the most in the afternoon. I'm getting on the Aflac program even though the representative informed me that I can't claim this pregnancy on my new plan. She says I have to be on the plan ten months before I can file the pregnancy on my plan to receive compensation while I'm on maternity leave. I'm getting it b/c it's better to have some kind of support in case of an accident. Anyways my belly is growing but not too much. I'll post my belly from Nov -May. 11-1 I had a doctors appointment today. She says I'm due May15th instead of May 8th. She is also pregnant with her first and has the same due date as I do May15th. I found that funny. I'm still not sure if I'm having a boy or girl. Here is a picture from today -A jelly bean is present and it loves to bounce around (CUTE). I'm still feeling fine so far. Second trimester here I come. My belly is a little big already.

13 weeks

11-5 Everything I crave taste sooo good. I'm feeling bloated. I crave bad food that's not good for me and I get it/eat it. I can't stop eating hard candy and it so happens I have plenty from Maya's trick or treating (she can't eat candy yet). I don't mean to nag, but that's just how it is today. I have an ultrasound Thursday to make sure the baby's fine. The first one was to make sure baby was there -I guess. My stomach feels like it's full when it's not and I'm so bloated. The picture above is not even how I look now. I'm afraid I'll have a big baby this time. I really don't want a big baby b/c I still have a long ways to go -which means I'm going to be in pain by 7-8 months at this rate. Other then that's everything is great. To all -Have a nice week.

11-8 above is a picture of my baby's back with legs crossed. 13 weeks and one day (nap time). I had my appointment and the baby and I are fine. I had blood work and was give a bunch of paperwork of what I should and should not do and eat. I have to hold of on my seafood again. I'm not craving it and it was my favorite before I was pregnant. Well two more months and I'll know if it a girl or boy. Can't wait, but will.

11-13 Today is all about feeling good. I'm eating Haagen-Dazs ice cream (vanilla) and I'm so happy and it tastes so good. The best thing about being pregnant aside from baby is enhanced taste buds. My back aches are getting worse. I think they come from picking up Maya (24pds). Anyways everyone have a wonderful night. We are all one day closer to our babies (even people trying to conceive-future babies). God bless and good night.

15 weeks

11-21 I can't believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow. I'm going to eat, but no too too much food. I'll eat a little through out the day. The picture above is me on th first day of week15. I will probably be double this size after the holidays. For the new mommies to be -don't eat until your really full. I say this because a belly too full doesn't feel good when your pregnant. You'll see what I mean if you eat too much at once. Take Care everyone.xoxo

11-23 I think my belly grow from Thanksgiving dinner. I woke up this morning feeling really big bellied and wobbly. This baby is growing fast -THE 1ST PICTURE -RED TOP IS FROM 11-21& THE 2ND IS 11-23. I'm also catching a cold so I'm going to stay in all weekend and miss all the sales. Hope every one had a wonderful holiday with family and friends.

16 weeks

11-28 My stomach feels really full, but I haven't ate dinner yet. Every night my stomach gets a full feeling and I end up not eating much, but in the day it's not like that. By the way I felt my baby moving. I actually feel the movement two days ago. I'm going to my appointment the 5th of Dec for a check up, but on th 18th I will find out or better yet- confirm I 'm having a baby boy. I'm excited and nerves at the same time. Anyways have a good night -above is my 1st day of week 16.

12-1 Today makes 17more days till my Doc confirms that I'm having a boy. I know my page is all fixed up for a boy already, but I will love and be very happy regardless of baby sex. I just have a mother's instinct that it's a boy this go around . I don't feel much different from last week and I still forget I'm pregnant util night time. I have a regular checkup tomorrow morning- nothing new. Well have a wonderful week .

19 weeks

12-18 I just found out that I'm having a baby boy. We are so excited. Take care everyone and have a wonderful holiday.

12-24 I finished all of my Christmas shopping and house chores. It feels good when you accomplish all that you set out to do. I finally felt the baby move, but it was just a little. I'm sure by next week it will be more often. My sweet tooth got worst. I eat junk too much, but after the new year I plan on changing my diet. Only bread, fruits, veggies, chicken, and fish for me in 2008. My sister in law on th husbands side had two boys four years apart -weighing 9 pounds each. I can not afford to have a big baby b/c I'm small framed so I'll still eat a lot, but only of the good nutritious foods. Anyways that's next year and tomorrow Christmas so I'm pigging out for the last time with no shame. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone.

20 weeks

12-29 I can't believe I'm halfway there -20weeks. I still feel fine no sickness or complications. I'm feeling movement once in a while, but not often which concerns me a little. Everyone seems to be getting kicked all the time. Anyways, my belly is slightly bigger and my appetite too. I started wearing maternity clothes so I actually don't look too pregnant with them on compare to my regular clothes. My biggest challenge right now is determining a name for a boy. I have a lot of girl names, but boy names are harder to pick. I have a doctors appointment Monday so I will be assured that everything is fine. My last appointment everything was okay on the 18th of December. We are in the process of becoming new home owners and I'm really excited about that. I hope we can close on a home before May -when my lil man arrives. I want to shop for him, but I'll wait until after the baby showers are over to see what I don't have. 12/31 HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERY ONE. I had my appointment and everything is fine. My next appointment I 'll be giving the glucose test with the orange nasty drink, but I don't have to drink it until the following appointment. I'm feeling my baby move a little more now and it's so exciting. I can remember my daughter moving around about a year and a half ago. My new years resolution is to stay fit, finish my business plan, and become a new home owner. My hubby and I can't wait to move and have much more space. I can also get the baby room in order before he gets here if we close on a home early in the new year. I hope everyone enjoys the last day of 2007 and is able to stay up for the New Year. I have to nap now so I'll be up before 12am. God bless you all in 2008.



1-4-08 I can't believe it's 2008 already. I'm getting older, but wiser. My daughter has a cold and I had to stay home from work to take care of her. I've given her children's cough medicine, but it continues to linger on. Maybe this weekend she will be better. She has been sleep now for 2.5 hours so I actually have time to write. Baby boy (lil man) is moving a lot more especially when his sister is around. Its too cute. We are going to close on a house by end of March and move in before lil man arrives. I'm so excited about everything that will happen this year. I still can't believe I'll be a mother of two. My babies have made my life really exciting and interesting. I couldn't be more happy.

1-5-08 Today was not so good. I stomped my toe on the metal part of

. My toe hurts so bad it makes my whole foot hurt. I don't really want to go to the hospital because I don't think they will do anything major about it. It's swollen now so I know it's not broken. My main concern is being able to walk without pain by Monday -work day. Maya is feeling better so I'm glad something is going right. My friend at work told me that when you have a second child you don't get a baby shower. I really wasn't expecting one the first time I was pregnant from my job. My family and friends in ATL & NY usually throw me big parties so all is well. I'm better off if they don't throw me one because the first one was awkward and kind of uncomfortable. I'm not that close to the people at my job so it's weird having them give me stuff and pretend we all are such good friends. Okay I'm though venting. Have a good night everyone.
P.S. I think my due date is wrong. My LMP was July 31ST so shouldn't my due date be MAY6th instead of May15TH? Anyone else confused? I know they measured the baby, but maybe he is just small at first.

1-7-08 Today was just another day. My toe still hurts, but I went to work anyways. My belly isn't much bigger then it has been lately. I'm waiting to wake up and see a full round obvious belly. I'm so excited about the new baby. He still has no name. The name I was going to have ended up being a girls name so I throw it out. That's all folks nothing new. 1-19-08 I'm feeling the baby move all the time now. At first not so much, but now he's getting busy lol. Not much is going on. I'm not gaining too much like with my daughter (so far15pounds). I notice my feet and hands are starting to swell a little in the evening. Today it snowed and I was really nice to stay home and enjoy it. We don't usually get snow in Ga except in the mountains or further north. My best snack at the time is oranges and ice cream. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.


24weeks

1-22-08 I found one outfit so far for lil man. I might change my mind, but I think this will be perfect for his first day . I haven't confirmed his name, but so far he will be called Jaydon. My belly hasn't grow too much, but he has been kicking like never before and letting me know he's growing. I can feel myself getting angry quickly about small things, but I'm trying to stay positive. I was so happy carrying my daughter, but I'm not so cheerful now and I'm not sure why. I hope I don't get depressed. I want to be excited and I can't wait to see my lil man. I 'm not sure what is going on with me. Everything else is the same as usual. Have a wonderful week and think only positive thought.

1-27-08 Today was a nice day overall. Maya had a high temperature, but it went down after I gave her children's medicine. Lately she wakes up around 2am and wants to come to my bed. I tried rocking her back to sleep, but she just stands up when I put her down. When she sleeps with me she turns sideways and start kicking my belly like she knows her brother is in there. It's really weird b/c I straighten her to a position where we're side by side and then I feel kicks and she's sideways. She is having problems sleeping though out the night and I'm concerned. I'm not able to sleep some nights due to pregnancy so it's not so bad for me. She has an appointment Wednesday so I'll ask the doctor about it. My belly is actually moving now when lil man kicks and turns. It's really funny and cute. Some days I really enjoy being pregnant and other days not so much. I'm trying to keep a positive outlook and be happy b/c I am moody and can easy be upset and actually pissed. You all should know what I mean. I'll end on that note -Good night to all of those who are able to sleep lol.

2-1-08 My Friday was not all that good. I woke up early got Maya ready for the day and took her to he sitter early. I made it early to work and complete all my work early. I was so bored the rest of the day. I wanted to help other people, but I wasn't allowed due to paper work. It's like people make things much harder then they are. Instead of qualifying everyone so they can help each other out -they play stupid and only qualify a few people who end up struggling and complaining while the rest of us have nothing to do and can't help. You would think it's common sense, but maybe not. I just had to vent a minute. Other than that everything is okay. I'm tired of being pregnant b/c my belly is getting in the way now. I need a change in my life -new everything except hubby and Maya. I want a different style, place to live, job, routine,the works on my life. Have a nice weekend everyone. I'm getting my hair done tomorrow so I'll post my new hair style.

2-9-08 This past week was not all that good. I had a bartholin cyst last Sunday that had to be drained on Monday by incision b/c it was so big and painful. My doctor placed a catheter (small filled balloon) in the incision to hold the space open and allow drainage to prevent it from coming back. I was in so much pain for three days with that catheter, but Thursday they took the catheter out because it was positioned high rather then low (usually low cyst require the catheter). I just hope it doesn't come back since I didn't keep the catheter in for the full 6 weeks. I feel great today and it's good to be pain free finally. Now I just have to potty train Maya before lil man 'Jaydon' comes and I'm all set. My glucose test is at the end of the month -wish me luck. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

2-17-08 Today I didn't do too much. Yesterday I visited my mom and my brother was in town. That's why I don't plan to even leave the house today after all the running around I did yesterday. Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment and I'm getting another ultrasound. I can't wait to see how Jaydon is doing since he moves so much now a dyas. He is probably pack in my belly tight -trying to get make space. My only problem is my boobs getting too big. They actually hurt the top of my stomach. I'll have to go bra shopping b/c this is so uncomfortable. I'll post Jaydon's pictures tomorr

2-19-08 I had my appointment today and I got to see Jaydon. He was a sleep and I think a little upset about the ultrasound since he was napping. Anyways the pictures are above. Nothing much as been happening to share.

2-25 Today I had my glucose blood test drawn. I hope my blood sugar is within the passing range. They said they will call me if something is wrong. I failed with Maya in 2006 and had to take the longer 3hr test -which I passed. I don't want to go through that again. I came down with a cold yesterday, but it's not too bad -just a cough. I'll try to get over it before it gets worst. We finally decided that Jaydon Ali will be the baby's first and middle name (yeah!!). Take care everyone.

2-27 - 3-2 Can't say much. I GOT THE FLU. If you haven't got a flu shot -get one. This flu is no joke -It kept me home from work for 3 days.

3-11-07 Today I feel fat and uncomfortable. I can't find a comfortable position except lying down. I can't wait till I'm back to normal - 9 MORE WEEKS TO GO!

3-12 I'm surprised that I feel so good now after that terrible flue. I don't even feel pregnant until night time. I think this is the week that I'm going to really get big in the belly. My baby boy has been good to me -no major weight gain regardless of how much I eat and he doesn't make any part of me swell or ache. I can't wait to meet him in a few weeks. Hope everyone is doing fine as well.

3-22 Its been a while since I last wrote. Nothing much has changed my belly is getting slightly bigger, but it's not too big for me to get things done. My hubby and I are looking for a new home and I want to wait until the baby is born b/c the hospital is 10minutes away compared to a hour a way if we move. I'm a little nerves and excited about the baby. I can't imagen having a little boy around -it's weird, but cool. I need a baby boy's name soon and if I can't find one I'm using Taylor, Jaydon, or my hubby's name. I have an appointment Monday and will begin seeing the doctor on biweekly basis from now on. There is so much to do before my baby gets here, but I'll get it done. Take care ladies and enjoy your weekend.

3-30 I'm feeling really good today for 33Weeks and four days. I wake up and it doesn't feel like I'm pregnant. When I go to bed at night I feel huge and very pregnant LOL. My baby is moving well and he seem too comfortable so I'm thinking I'll go past my due date. Yesterday I cleaned the whole house and went shopping while hubby was working. I didn't clean with any chemicals -so the bathroom wasn't touched -that's hubby's chore till the baby comes. Today I'm going to relax and do as little as possible. I can't wait till I'm on leave and can just stay home though out the weeks. I still have to get Jaydon's room together too. Well off to a relaxing day for me. Take care ladies.

4-4-08 Today Jaydon was moving around a lot. I keep feeling pressure below like he's trying to get out early. He loves soda -which i can't drink and junk food which I try to stay away from. I feel sick when I eat food that's good for me like veggies, chicken, etc.. I make my self eat right regardless, but once in a while I eat a little junk. Work is going good, I feel like my baby will never get here b/c I don't feel that pregnant. I feel and look 5 months -see pictures below. Well that's all folks.

34WEEKS AND FOUR DAYS...........&............35WEEKS AND THREE DAYS

4-9-08 I had an appointment Monday and I'm 2cm dilated already. I've been having sharp pains and contractions, but they are mild. I sometimes feel like the baby is engaged and is going to come early. My appointments are weekly now so I'm really excited that the ball is rolling on this pregnancy. My baby boy Jaydon and I will be united in 5 short weeks (yeah).

4-12-08 Today I'm 35 weeks and three days. This is the first time I noticed a noticeable difference in my belly size. I got way bigger btwn 34 & 35 weeks (pictures above). I still feel really good in the morning and day time. Night time I feeling like 40weeks. Four more weeks and four days till I'm due. Time seems to be going slow some days. I'm still working and I'm sure I'll make it to my last work day May 2nd with no problems. Nothing much going on today, just entertaining Maya and spending quality time. I have an appointment Tuesday and I'm curious whether I'm dilated more then 2cm at this point. I do feel little pains sometimes and pressure, but not much. I have a feeling he will still be pass due b/c I was 3cm dilated with Maya for like a month and she was 2days pass due. I'm currently 2cm as of April 7th doctor's appointment. I hope everyone is doing well. Take Care ladies.

4-15-08 I had an appt today and I'm 2cm dilated and 60% effaced. I was hoping to be 80% or 90% effaced and 3 cm. Maybe next week. Tomorrow I will be 36 weeks and the count down continues. Two more weeks of work after this week (yeah!!!).

4-23-08 I'm 37weeks today. I had an appointment and the midwife checked me instead of the doctor. She was hurting me just to evaluate my progression w/ dilation. I was like ouch 3 times and she didn't stop LOL. Anyways I'm still 2cm dilated and 75% effaced. All day since my appointment this morning I have been feeling pain. I have another appointment next week and I don't think I will go. My doctor's is expecting too and has the same due date as I do. She asked me whether I want to be induced May 5th. I feel tempted, but I don't think I will. I'm already having the epidural so no more additional drugs. I think I might go early anyways -well I guess we'll wait and see. I'll post more belly pictures tomorrow if I feel better.


37 weeks
4-25-08 Today I was surprise by my job -they gave me a surprised baby shower. It was so nice I almost cried. I was in shock for like three hours after it happened and I have been having off/on abdomen cramping with off/on lower back pain -20min apart. These are not contractions b/c they don't hurt that bad. I'm not sure if I'm going to go into labor and have my baby or if the the baby is just stretching . I'm going in the tub and I hope that helps. I'm 37 weeks and two days. I was hoping to go 40 weeks. We'll see.

4-28-08 I'm pain free finally. I was in pain Friday and Saturday now- no pain. I thought they were contractions, but it must have been my body getting ready for the baby and engaging. I made it though a whole day of work and time flow by. Four more days of work till my leave. If the baby comes on his due date I will have one week at home to chill with my daughter. I decided not to be induced May 5th b/c there isn't a reason other then convenience on my doctor's part in planning. She is due the same day I am and I really don' t have to have her deliver the baby. Anyways I just hope for the best overall.
week 38

5-3-08 Last appt. I was 3cm and 75% effaced -any minute now I guess. I sprained my ankle this past Thursday and can't do much walking. I was hoping to walk this baby out, but now I can't even that. I hope my ankles gets better by next week so I don't have to be carried everywhere when I go into labor. I told my doctor that I don't want to be induced May 5th and she mentioned that they induce every Monday. If I go past the 10th I might induce May 12th. Well hope everyone is doing great. Two more weeks to go -hopefully not longer.

5-9-08 I'm still waiting. I thought I'd have my baby by now, but I guess he's waiting until his due date or later to come. My ankle is better, but I can't stay on my feet too long or the pain will come back. My doctor had her baby May 5th and is doing well. I found out when I went to my appointment yesterday. She had a cute little baby girl. Today was my daughters last day at childcare until I go back to work in July. I had the last day to myself today and it was really nice. I'm still 3cm and 75% effaced according to the doctor that checked me yesterday. Well back to the waiting game.



5-12-08 Since 4am I've been having contractions, but they are mild and they come every thirty minutes. I think this might be it, but I have to see if they continue and if they get stronger. I posted my last belly picture being that I'll be 40weeks in three days. I don't believe I'll get bigger then this. I ate cereal to see if it was just hunger pain -now I wait. If they continue I'll send Maya to my sisters house this morning. I wanted a mother's day baby, but the day after is fine too. Hopefully these are not BH that disappear forever after today. This may just be my last comments before my birth story is posted -I'm excited. Wish me luck.

5-13-08 I woke up this morning with no more contractions -so I guess another false alarm. I was cramping all day yesterday and they were getting closer. He must be waiting until the due date I guess. I told my family he was really on the way yesterday, now I have to call them and let them know it was false -oh well.

5-15-08 I had my baby and we are home finally!!! BIRTH STORY WILL BE POSTED LATER W/PICTURES. HE CAME 5/13/08 @ 10:12PM -7pds 13oz and 21.5inches long.
