Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

hehe.. I love the name you picked. I had a name picked out for the longest time and her name is going to be Lilith Rose. Evilish I know, but I've loved that name for the longest time. I bet it's exciting to know when your going to see your baby, I had to go to the hospital on Tues. I had to find out what it was I kept leaking and it was just fluid behind the mucuss (however you spell it) plug that I lost, they said it shouldn't be too much longer but who knows.. keep it metal mommy!

the recovery for Ist timers is not that bad, my sister asked me what I was on about, the girl next to me was up crossed legged and breast feeding like a trooper while I was crushed beneath the sheets wondering what went wrong, I guess because it is my third baby and hurt the more babies you have, I'd also broken my coccyx raw that week and in constant pain anyway so I shouldn't worry too much on the recovery side although if you do worry like hell and it's not as bad you'll feel much better. have a blessed week CarlaXXX

Yes I am having another c-section. I was thinking about trying vag but then they told me I had placenta previa (it's in the way)so I wouldn't be able to deliver naturally. but thats ok because the more I think about it I want another c-section because as long as everything goes as planned my husband can take some time off work and I already have sitters lined up for my son so it makes things a little less stressful.

metalheartmom-I had a c-section with my son it was an emergency so we were not expecting that but the recovery wasn't bad. I was sore of course but you can manage. it's wierd because I had surgery on my abdomin before I had babies and it was very painful but I think when you know you have someone else to focus on and it's not about you anymore it just makes it easier to deal with. I think I was just so excited about the baby and making sure he was taken care of that you just forget about yourself. I don't know if that makes sense but thats how it was for me, but I didn't have any complication it was a 'normal' recovery. which I am praying for again. If it makes you feel any better about half of my friends with kids had atleast 3 c-sections and they prefer them over vaginal birth. Good luck to you.
