9/22/08: For the past few days I've been feeling some "popping" feelings. Don't know really how to describe it. Yesterday I felt some movements from baby; it felt like fish moving inside me or a wave. It's strange but I'm glad the vibrations has lessened. After dinner last night, I had terrible chest pains. I figure it's either acid reflux or baby smushing my organs somehow. It went away after a few hours.

9/15/08: Found out today we are having a...BOY! =)

All the old wives' tales & gender tests were wrong! Baby measures 20 wks 2 dys and is 13 oz. I gained 6 lbs since 8/20...am now 136 lbs.

9/5/08: Last night I spoke to my Dr about the vibrations I've been having, they think it might be heart-related since it's on my left side only. Got it checked out this morning at the ER. They can't seem to figure out what it is. But it turns out I have UTI (who knew? first time that it doesn't hurt!) and have to take antibiotics (Macrobid). The hospital did a quick ultrasound to check on baby and she/he was waving and moving around =)

9/3/08: Felt 3 little "pops" on my left side last night...hope it's baby!

8/27/08: Starting to see a faint line on my tummy (linea nigra).

8/26/08: Got back results from the maternal quad screening. All is normal so I am sooo relieved =)

8/25/08: Recently I have been feeling vibrations on my left side, above the belly button. The last time I went to the doctor, the baby was on my right side, under belly button. Are the vibrations from the baby? I tried googling it but can't seem to find an answer.

8/20/08: Dr. appt went well today. I gained 5 lbs since 7/23 so that makes me 130 lbs right now. Dr had a hard time listening to baby as it was wriggling around...guess it didn't like the doppler. Everything looks good so far so that makes me worry a little bit less.

8/19/08 Tomorrow I have a dr appt for quad screening. Hopefully I will get to hear baby's hearbeat again. I've been getting stretch marks =( It started with the inner thighs and I discovered some new ones last night on my butt. Yikes!!

8/4/08 Happy 14 wks baby! Heartburn is increasing and gagging is decreasing. Need to go buy some Tums. Also...my innie bellybutton is starting to become an outie!

8/1/08 Boy, am I glad to be out of the first trimester. We already told family & a few friends. Super fun to let others know because they get so excited too!

Sleeping has been difficult. I toss and turn. My back hurts. It takes forever to find a comfy spot then I have to get up to use the bathroom. I woke up last night with such a start. I dreamt an ostrich/emu was attacking me & the minute it touched me, I woke up. Weird!
