Hi thanks for stopping by my page.
Im megan and im 21 yrs old, i am a mummy of a beautiful little girl who blesses me with so much joy my heart is alive with love and she fills my day with so much laughter and sillyness, Her Name is Danielle Maia and she is very cheeky.
I am also Studying Registered Nursing at the University of Newcastle, it is something i have always dreamed of and i am now able to achieve it- I am really looking forward to the day i graduate!
I would like to work with children and young people- but ultimately working alongside a plastic surgeon would be extremely interesting- mates rates too? haha .. (these boobs of mine really need a lift) ahhh the joys of motherhood. You know its a stepping stone everyday and a learning curve every second of every minute- its an adventure of a lifetime. I'm glad i have had the amazing opportunity of having ovaries as i think this whole pregnancy childbirth and motherhood experience has left me a little more than satisfied. It has made me into this strong, selfless and caring happy person.
Thats my philosophical approach to being a mum.
Anyway i will write more later, im really tired right now.. lol here are my photo's

this is the day/night before my induction..
I was 42 weeks and very much desperate to get the stubborn little one out!
I ended up having a darn C -section after an 11 hour induced labour... umm it was a relief at the time but recovering from surgery whilst trying to care for a newborn baby is probably one of the most painful things i have ever been through. But the immediate love and fascination that comes with having my newborn finally in my arms was a great distraction from the discomfort and awkwardness that accompanies the big slash.. I am a strong advocate for natural birth because having a ceasarean is not fun, even if your goods are still in tact down there.
Here is something you might have mixed opinions about, I dont mind whats going through your head, But this is something that is real and happens to most women who have Babies! (except the c section scar) I figured after i had the baby, i thought i was alone in getting Stretch marks, I never had them at 40 weeks and i thought i was one of the lucky ones hey! well alot changes when you go 2 weks overdue. Now Id'e just like to say im at peace with my scars, They are a new part of my body, just like a new haircut, that you dont like at first, but after a little while it becomes you. And you know, if anything ever happened to my daughter. god forbid, I have her special markings left with me forever. Always something to remind me of the special yet short time she spent living inside my body. And this too is for other women who get them to show them they are not alone.
