baby.gif_0_1_in-my-first-trimester

hi my name is michelle and im 30 years young, im maried to my husband gary (moff) who is 31 and we have 2 children shelby who is 6 and tony who is 4 and we are all very excited about the new arival.

Shelby was born at 34 weeks and weighed 5.3 and tony was born 39 weeks and weighed 7.7, so i dont know if i will make it to 40 weeks but im going to enjoy every minuet of it as this shall be my last baby!

When we decided to try for this last baby 3 weeks later we got our positive result (very lucky), i had bought 10 tests from the nhs web site & my moff kept saying to me do another one to make sure & when they all kept coming up positive he used one on his wee to make sure they just were not all positive, bless him, needless to say he wasnt pregnant! LOL!

Im just about over the morning sickness now and im starting to get a bit more energy back again. Ive had no cravings as such but i have been eating foods that i wouldnt normally not look twice at.

Ive had my first scan on the 27th march and it was amazing to see our little baby doing so well (it always brings me tears of joy) and i cant wait for my second one which is on the 2nd june.

Madame Zaritska's reading

Madame Zaritska, our resident clairvoyant, wants to help you prepare for the arrival of your child. Here she does her best to predict certain aspects of your labor and birth experience.

What she senses for you
The day you deliver, outside will be hazy. Your baby will arrive in the morning.

After a labor lasting approximately 3 hours, your child, a boy, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and will be 20-1/2 inches long. This child will have light blue eyes and dark hair.

But there is more. I know you imagine your baby often. You wonder if your baby is safe and healthy. Why don't you go listen to a baby's heartbeat and think soothing thoughts about your own child.

7th April (11 weeks & 5 days)

hi just wanted to up date my pages. Cant believe how much better i feel now the ms has gone, my energy levels are higher and im just really excited about the whole baby thing again, was starting to think the ms was never going to leave. Well shelby & tony have gone back to school today & its time to give the house a good blitzing, after some relaxing time of couse enjoying the uninterupted peace! I also invested in a featal heart doppler over Easter & i have gone through 2 tubes of gel in nearly 2 weeks, just cant stop, im always listening to the movements & the heart beat its amazing! We have also decided to find out if we are having a boy or a girl at the next scan so even more excited about that, counting down the days! Due a midwife appointment soon so will update again then.

12 april 12 weeks & 2 days

Well ive made it to the 2nd trimester & im getting so excited, getting closer & closer to my sexing scan & to meeting my little bundle of joy cant wait. Im starting to show now & this last ccouple of weeks ive gone from sitting down with my top button un done for comfort to having to invest in my 1st pair pf materinty jeans so as not to cause embaressment in them falling down doing the school run! I keep feeling the odd little flutters but no defo kicks as such. Also being playing alot of dot to dot with my spots but it will pass. I suppose the worse i feel & look the better baby is LOL!

Bones are forming

21st April (14 weeks & 4 days)

Its so funny i got really desperate this week wanting to know if i was having a boy or a girl but thankfully i was only like that for the day, thought i was going to explode with excitement, another six weeks just seemed like a million years but back on planet earth now! Bump is getting bigger & people are starting to notice im expecting too & i just feel so special. Had a real thing about cheese & pickle sandwiches lately too & moff keeps poping back at lunch times with a sandwich for me OOOH! In fact he is being a little star with everything just cant believe how lucky i am!

3rd may (16 weeks & 2 days)

Well what can i say it been a real roller coasted ride over his last couple of weeks. Moff's grandma took badly just over a week ago & unfortunatly never recovered & passed away early hours of the 25th. Then we had to try & help his mum get through her birthday on the 27th, then it was my birthday on the 30th & we had the funeral yesterday (2nd) but we have all done well to get through it all. Its also my daughter shelby's birthday on mon 5th, (loads of birthdays), so she is really excited & its keeping everyone going in higher spirts. Ive also been for swab test this week as i noticed my discharge was a slightly pale green colour, it had no unpleasant smells so dont think i have an infection but having swabs done anyway to bo on the safe side so should get them back on tuesday when i see my midwife again, im just pleased i have my doppler to listen to baby everyday, it just keeps my mind at ease & a smile on my face knowing baby is ok, which is just what i need to stay strong for everyone!

Dancing Baby

9th may (17 weeks & 1 day)

This last week has been amazing & really good for me, full of happiness! We started the week off with my daughter shelby's 7th birthday, the weather took a turn for summer at last & we ended up with all her friends coming round playing in the paddling pool & we had a BBQ & of cause she really enjoyed her day (fantastic as we dont normally get nice bank holidays in england LOL)! Ive been doing alot of thinking again about wether were having a boy or a girl again too, baby is starting to get stronger & im alot more awear of my little one moving inside me now still cant feel from the out side with power kicks but i can feel the odd taps a couple of times a day, so one min im in mid flow conversation & the next i have this big grin on my face & people think ive gone mad, very special! Anyway i had a prediction done yesterday by Mystic Moon Queen & she has said its a boy, its really funny one week im convinced its a boy & the next im saying no no its a girl, im just not sure this time, but if little one is helpful we find out 3 weeks on monday!

How`s my pregnancy doing?

19th may (18 weeks & 4 days)

Well im still counting down the days till i get to see my little one again, (2 weeks today yippee), its just going soooo fast im 19 weeks this week & thats me half way already! Baby is alot more active now & if i lay on the bed, as i do every mornig after dropping the kids off at school to listen to baby with my doppler, its normally awake & you can now see if you look carefully the little movements through my tummy (just amazing), it makes me feel so proud! Moff & i have done alot of talking this week about us having the baby at home too, when i first mensioned it he laughed & said no way, i think he is just terrified that if all doesnt go to plan durring labour he will have to be in control, but ive managed to talk to him properly & say that he would never be on his own cause the miniuet i go into labour i would advise the midwife who would be there & if anyone thought for one minuet i was putting my self or our little one in any danger whats so ever i would go straight to hospital, no questions. I think ive just got it in my head that i would be alot more relaxed in my own home & this is my last chance to do it, so i shall bring it up with my midwife at my next appointment & see what is said, wish me luck!

23rd may (19 weeks & 1 day)Click the photo to enlarge

Well what a funny week filled with all different emotions, a couple of nights ago i had gone to bed early (as usual) & moff, bless him normally gets left up on his own but always cuddles up when he comes to bed, anyway i awoke to him with his hand on my belly, baby kicking away like mad & moff wispering in my ear with pure excitement "i can feel baby" & as i came round the tears of joy were just running down my face & i dont think i shall ever forget that amazing moment when dad & baby felt each other for the first time! Also this week ive been for new bra's, ive gone from a B cup to an E cup since feb, not that moff is complaining! Getting compfy in bed is getting more difficult though keep wrapping my legs round a pillow on my side but its not the same as being able to sleep on my tummy, but cant go squashing little one, not that im missing out on sleep, on tue night i had a good 9 hours, got up, got the kids off to school, did a couple of bits around the house & before i new it by 10.30 i was tucked back up in bed & to my horror didnt wake again till 1.45 hee! Nearly half way now & only 10 more days till we see our little baby again, cant wait!

29th May (20 weeks)!

WOW im officially half way & 4 days till my next scan but at least i know where the time has gone this week, been in bed with the sickness bug since tuesday, but on the mend now! Poor little one hasnt had a proper meal since mon & oh boy has it let me know ive really been put through my paces with it moving having a funny tummy it felt very funny! Also weve worked out something really weird this week, dylan is the name we have choosen for a boy & my mother in laws name is lynda which she was delighted to work out the other day its an anograme of dylan which is amazing as we had choosen the name & not even realisled it had such a fab meaning! Anyway keeping it short today as i shall update again after my big scan on mon!

2nd june (BIG SCAN)

Well today could not have gone any better for all of us, ITS A BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT, HEALTHY LITTLE BOY! We are just on cloud 9 & i just feel so blessed. As soon as the lady said its a boy Moff shouted YES & the tears just kept falling down my face & im trying to stop so i can see the screen so i didnt miss anything but those tears of joy just kept falling- i cant believe how excited i am now to meet my DYLAN RITCHIE MOFFAT!

12th June (22 weeks)

Well im now 22 weeks with 18 weeks left WOW! Where is the time going to? I decided this week to go ahead & book the 4d bonding scan on the 4th aug & were taking the kids with us, i think its important for the children to bond with this baby too, anything that makes Dylan's arrival easier for everyone is a good idea! Moff thinks im mad because ive also just ordered a belly casting kit for the kids to do during the hoildays & decorate, they will love getting messy & making mum messy! Ive also started buying to do the bedrooms, baby stuff & Diane has given me loads of clothes for upto 6 months & baby stuff too, so the house is starting to fill with baby stuff, its nice to feel organised! Seeing all the baby stuff in the house just makes me feel more excited, but i cant wait to get the nursrey done! Weve also asked Lynda if she will have the kids for a couple of nights during the summer holidays so we can strip & do up Shelby & Tony's new room & suprise them with their new bedroom, but we are purposley waiting till aug to do all this for 2 reasons, 1 if they do take a while to settle & sleep they will be off school so they wont be getting up tired for school & 2 we wanted to wait as long as posible to make the move so there not sick of sharing by the time Dylan comes!

22nd June (23 weeks + 3 Days)

Well 17 weeks left & getting very difficult to put on even a pair of socks lately, i have to sit on the floor & struggle lol! Dylan is getting very active & moff and i were sat watching my belly move yesterday, he placed a CD on my tummy & we watched it bobbing about it was funny! Both Shelby & Tony have felt Dylan moving this week too, Shelby was full of smiles & couldnt believe it, she hugs & kisses my tummy when im leaving her, soo sweet! Tony reacted a bit differently to feeling Dylan though, his little face lit up & he said i felt it, then he looked all cross & said "he just pumped on me" & now he doesnt want to feel anymore! But he too is so thoughtful, when he comes for a cuddle or to sit on my knee he says "watch Dylan" bless my beautiful family are making me feel very special!

2nd july (24 weeks + 6 days)

Well had another midwifes appointment yesterday & she has agreed that if my pregnancy carries on problem free she is happy for me to have my home birth WOOHOO! It just gets better too because they like to make sure that baby is defo not breech with planning a home birth so i get another scan at 36 weeks too! Susan my midwife shall be speaking to me nearer the time to go through a birthing plan, for pain relief etc but not sure yet if i even want any, the drugs with my previous labours have made me sick & just not in control but i will see what she suggests, trying to keep an open mind about all of my options! Moff is now excited about the home birth too now we have spoken to susan, he has peace of mind in knowing he's not having to deliver the baby on his own! lol. Also 2 nights ago i was getting moff to look at my belly as Dylan was being extra active, moff was calling Dylan & everytime baby responded by making my belly rock, he also put hand on my tummy & was totally shocked at how hard Dylan is kicking now!

17th july (27 weeks)_0_3_in-my-third-trimester.gif

Wow another mile stone reached & the kids finish school tommorrow, so been catching up with the accounts this week so im upto date for the tax returns in october as i dont think i shall have time to even think about them again now till after baby comes hee! Been buying alot of baby things lately too, the combi robe arrived last week & i won a changing unit, baby bath & mosses basket stand off ebay, what a life saver ebay has been for picking up bargins, just need a few bits now but when we go through to newcastle on the 4th aug for the 4d scan with the kids we are going to pop into babies r us & ikea for the them, cant wait! Got another mid wifes appointment on the 29th july & tonys birthday is on the 27th so lots to do! Dylan is very active too & tony is always wanting to feel again asking "is he awake", he loves to feel the movement but also likes to watch my tummy jerking around & shelby keeps on pretending she has a baby in her tummy, bless!

29th July (28 weeks + 5 days)

HEARTBURN, LEAKING BREASTS, BRAXTON HICKS CONTACTIONS, TOILET STOPS EVERY HALF HOUR OR MORE, RESTLESS CRAMPY LEGS, PERIOD LIKE CRAMPS, but worth it all cause in just over 10 weeks time im going to be looking into little Dylans eyes, holding him in my arms for the first time feeling so much love, i just cant wait! Got a midwifes appointment today & she will be measuring my bump for the first time & im having some more bloods taken just to make sure all is still well. We had a great time for tonys birthday too on the 27th, he got a psps & i hardly no hes here! Been a bit more tearful than normal again too but i think its just cause right now i feel like the luckiest person alive. were going away this weekend to warrington for 3 nights cause moffs doing a cause there so as the kids are off we thought we'd all go. Unfortunatly the cause landed on the same date as our 4d scan so weve managed to re-arange it for the 8th aug instead.

Just got back from the midwifes & she has said the period like cramps im having are because baby is really low, head down so shes not suprised im very uncompfy sometimes but she is also not worried, baby is measuring the correct size, blood presure is normal & im back again in 3 weeks (19th aug). I will also have the results from the bloods she took today.

Before you were conceived I wanted you
Before you were born I loved you
Before you were an hour old I would die for you
This is the miracle of love
.

8th Aug 30 weeks + 1 day

Well today was the day of my 4d scan & we went with the children, it couldnt have been any better. He is defo a boy the sonograph lady took great pleasure in showing us his bits & Dylan seemed quite happy to show them off too! We got loads of pics to keep & 4 mini clips, 1 of which he leans forward to grab his foot with his hand & at that point the tears started again, i wish i could have said those tears were a one off but unfortunatly ive seem to have done nothing but cry over something or nothing lately, but thats hormones for you, im sure all i need is to catch up on sleep, just dont seem to stop when the kids are off school but at the same time im enjoying spending time with them while there off! We also took the kids to toys r us so they could choose a pressy each from Dylan & went to babies r us for the last few bits of baby stuff we needed! Its moffs birhtday tommorrow (32), weve got him a cake, balloons, cards, pressys & of cause a big badge to wear for the day! Next step is to get the kids sharing there room & do the nursery!

21st Aug (32 weeks)

Yippee week 32! Been a bit of a rollercoaster ride again with emotions, never know how im going to be from 1 min to the next but we have done the nursery & the kids have a new room too! They went away for 2 nights to their Nan's caravan while we were painting & came back to the suprise, it was like something out of changing rooms lol! They loved the suprise & because they've always had their own rooms, sharing for them is so exciting (until the novelty wheres off). I was very tied after doing the 2 rooms over 3 days but it was all worth it to see their little faces light up & of course i feel like ive got space again now that the nursey is done too, finally everthing has a home again! Also had a midwife appt on tue 19th & it really upset me cause (im emotional over everything) baby has turned from being head down, low & ready to a none home birth breech position ARGH! but everyone seems to be positive that there is still time for him turn again & be a good baby so we can still go for the home birth, keeping everything crossed! im back again on the 9th sep. I had only said to moff the day before that the 2 things that scare me most are the thought of going in early again or having a c-section as i felt that both of these options were not very natural & the bonding after births is different especially with prem as baby would be wisked off to scbu again & i dont want the inconveienience of c-section for the healing after or the stint in hospital! Its wonderful being able to walk into the nursery & look at all his clothes & stuff, i could spend hours just sitting there taking in every detail with a big smile on my face & i know moff keeps doing the same thing cause every now & then all i can hear is the wardrobe doors opening & closing or the draws sliding open & shut again bless!

3rd sep (33 weeks +6 days)

Yippee, made it through the holidays & had a good day of rest yesterday with the kids being back at school, i cant belive how much it really drianed me emotionly just trying to keep the kids entertained, just had days where i did nothing but cry over nothing but already noticed a difference just having the day off yesterday so feel better now knowing that im not losing it, i just need to slow down & pace my self so ive still got energy left before i get to lunch time lol! Moff is doing reallly well with his new sky work, im so proud of him, i miss him loads but its all good. My dad & denise came up at the weekend & gave us loads of baby stuff, mainly cot & mosses basket bedding etc but absolutely beautiful, denise is a wiz when it comes to making something out of nothing & has colour co-ordinated everything for the cot, mosses basket & my pram FANTASTIC! Back to see the midwife on the 9th & im hoping baby want be breech anymore, she should be sorting out my 36 week scan to make sure baby defo isnt breech for the home birth & discussing all the final arangements for the big day!

Hay sweetie, hope you have had a good weekend!!!!

We've been busy, picked up the paint & started on the nursery, unfortunatly we have 3 mothercares localy & none stock the wallpaper & boarder so we've had to order it so we havint finished, but it has given us the decorating bug & i think we might be starting on the rest of the house pretty soon......

One one hand it's realy excited for you getting to play for the next six weeks on the other hand if the weather is rubbish it can be hard keeping your bunnies entertained

I think it's amazing that you are going for a home birth, i understand you being anxious it's the unknown, but what an amazing experiance for you all to share. Are Tony & Shelby going to be at home too??

I have an app on the 30th to discuss the removal of my cerclauge as the last doctor i spoke to was a little rude & brushed me off i'm hoping to get the full SP.

Your bonding scans coming up soon isn't it. We've booked ours for 23rd Aug, Cherrish has booked the day off work she is so excited.

Much Luv Babes xxxxxx

bunnyintheoven - Wednesday, 16 July
I'm sorry, bad Sharon

I'm really excited, i've managed to speak to someone today & we've moved the delivery & assembly to next week, thank god as i just wanted to put up some wallpapper & now i have time I'l get some pics up, but i think we've been a little boring after looking at the nursery rooms on here... We've just gone for classic pooh in lemon & cream as it was the only one we could agree on, i wanted 50's kitchy floral quilting and aplique & Pete wanted very vivide orange & Yellow with zoo animals. (we're having a girl.....) Have you got any ideas on your theme??

Oh accounts .....dont, we have our year end in oct, trying not to think about it (you dont think theres a chance it mite go away do you...?)

Much luv to you all xxxxxx
