Friday, 20 June I read you comment on the PCOS forum. I too have/had PCOS. The 'fertility' treatment i needed to get pregnant was a simple pill called metformin. I took one pill everyday and within a month of taking the pill i was pregnant. It isn't always that easy, but it can be. It is a scary diagnosis when you want a child, but don't give up hope and research a doc that specializes with PCOS. There is another drug called Clomid that is suppose to help, though i have never taken that one. Good Luck. If you want to hear my story i would be happy to share! pargy -

Tuesday, 17 June Dear Friends,
I had my beautiful daughter, Elsa Shannon on Friday. She was 7.4 pounds, 19.5 inches. We feel so happy and very blessed to have her. Paul posted our birth story, and we will post pictures on our page soon. Thanks so much for all of the lovely graphics, and well wishes that you posted on my page. I really appreciate all of the support.

Saturday, 14 June Hi, I know this is like months after you posted the question, but I just saw it. I was born with cleft lip/ cleft palet. The chances of my baby coming out with the same condition is 50%, and the chances of you having a child with the condition is also 50%. Medicine is really great these days though and if a child is born with a cleft it can be fixed really well.
btw my baby has not been diagnosed with a cleft. dvsrunt -
Thursday, 12 June I have to be given progestrone shots every week (my hubby was taught by the hospital). I had complications with my last two pregnancies, this is just a precaution to make sure that I don't go into pre-term labor again. This will help add in that. The needles are 1.5" long!!! it's crazy!! they go in the top of you butt near your hip...hurts like crazy but hey, you do what you have to for your babies I guess. It took use 2 years to get pregnant. I couldn't imagine something happening. I try to not think of it. KarenVG -
Thursday, 12 June HOw are you doing? Are you relaxing and trying to not think about it all... it is so hard I know, still thinking and praying for you...

Friday, 6 June I don't know. I am high risk b/c my past history. They will look at alot of different reasons. If you have cysts they very well may hold you as high risk. But that is no concern you should worry about now...you just worry about your BD'ing schedule!! and good luck! dvsrunt -
Friday, 6 June The first thought I had was you had a cyst burst on your ovary. I have never had that happen but hear that it's extremely painful and can cause vomitting and passing out. I took clomid and the higher the dose the more intense pains I had when I ovulated. Just maybe that is what happened...have you been ok since then?? sadielady -
Wednesday, 4 June heyy,, i had a cleft palate. im pregnant with my second baby and neither my first nor this one has it.. we do have a higher chance of having a baby with a cleft palate though.. just make sure you let your doctor know when you become pregnant.and theyll watch for it. good luck! dvsrunt -
Friday, 23 May That sounds like a great plan. I can't wait till you get started! I'm sure the pills will do the job on that cyst. Patience is the worst part of TTC! I will be around if you have any questions at all. Good luck and Babydust! KarenVG -
