Hi everyone! My name is michelle and im 20 yrs old, 21 in may. Me and my dear fiance omar are having our first baby together due on september 25th! I am sooo excited and im cherishing every moment of this pregnancy, even some of the parts im not thrilled about. I'm past the 1st trimester and guess what, almost no m/s! I only threw up twice. And it wasn't so bad. That makes me so happy, i guess baby loves momma already ; ) The first sono was just a sac, no baby yet, but we saw the heartbeat, and the second one it looked like a baby, and we heard the heartbeat at 167 bpm! And we saw the baby bouncing around with the hiccups, and we saw the tongue too! *I will never forget that moment* I'm doing everything i can to be as healthy as i can for my baby. Im a chubby momma but im eating extremely healthy(due to cravings and the fact that grease DISGUSTS me, not cause im a health freak) and im trying my bestest not to gain weight. The doctor said I weigh enough to give everything to my child from me and not gain anything. She only expects me to gain 15 lbs or so. Lets hope that works out. I cant wait to have a big preggo belly. Im trying to document this pregnancy and keep an album for the baby as best i can, cause my mom never did for me and im sure it would mean a lot to the baby later in life. And awesome memories for me. We are sooo excited to find out the sex of the baby and the suspense is killing us. He wants a boy, i think i want a little girl. As long as i have a healthy baby im fine. Im really excited about making some preggie friends, so please be welcome to add/message me, especially if your in the long island, ny area. It's a GIRL!!! Shes so beautiful and we cant wait to meet her. We're still thinking of names... but we are sure her middle name will be michelle. So the name is.... _____?_____ Michelle Carballo. Any suggestions are appreciated. Im trying to get something original but not like anything extreme. Nothing too mainstream. Im so excited and being pregnant is the most amazing thing ive ever experienced. I am LOVING every moment of it. Hooray for preggo-ness!

I cant believe im in the third trimester already! 28 weeks! Ok so we have decided on a first name, and scratched out my name. The reason my name will no longer be the middle name is because the first name we picked is actually my name in latin with the exact same meaning and whatnot. So it would be a little silly to have the same name twice, just in different forms... Soooo.... *drumroll*..... Our daughters name will be Mikayla. Still no middle name... but my daughter is now Mikayla Carballo. Everything has been going well. I gained back a few lbs i lost, so now im back at my original pre-preggo weight. Thats fine with me, because i still look thinner everywhere else, aside from my belly lol, go me! I feel great still. My feet/legs hurt if i wear flip flops all day or do too much walking/standing, and ive been getting quite a bit of heartburn. But my tums help me there, so like i said, i got noooo complaints. Hooray for a good pregnancy! My belly is coming along quite nicely, i got the stretchies, but hey, they dont really bug me none, theyll fade. Omar is still being phenomenal and cant wait for his daughter. And i discovered something really cool! If i lay on my left side and stay quiet still, she moves like CRAZYY!!! Omar and his mom have both seen this and they went nuts over it. It was awesome. I do it sometimes when im resting or at night just to watch my belly bounce around. Its feel amazing seeing her move around in there. I feel like from the movie alien LOL! Hmm... what else. We definately hired Lisa as our doula and had our official meeting and contract signing. I was worried about omar not being comfortable, but he LOVES her. Hes excited i chose to hire her. So i decided im going to read the hypno book thoroughly again, get whatever info i can off the internet, listen to the cds, and practice on my own in order to do the hypnobirthing. I have Lisa and Omar and his mom, so im not too worried. I dont really have the money for it. And i can self-educate quite well. If i had the extra cash id take the course, but id rather put that toward mikayla. The showers being planned, and im putting addresses together. All i know is its going to be at my aunts house, its going to most likely be a sunday, and it will be in august. So yea. Im excited about that. I put the invite list together. All thats left is to update my registry. Mikayla's room still needs to be finished. But im pretty sure we decided the first few weeks we're home with her, we'll be staying with Omars family. We feel it would be the best environment for me to get the rest i need and the best environment for me to take care of her in. Lots of support there and its a much more stable place with no arguing or whatnot. Im working on the birth plan with omar and feel that i have a good knack for what i want, its just putting it all together now. So i dont think theres much else to update on... toodles.
